VI at GrayHawk is a beautiful facility impeccably clean, with well appointed staff and lovely residents. I had the pleasure of visiting this facility for my mother recently and I was so impressed with how nice the staff was, how well trained they are and competent they are. The housekeeping staffs presence is shown in this facility by the clean environment and how good it looks and smells and it is refreshing to see. I have visited other facilities that are not as well kept. The amenities and the food is also a plus and I will be back with my family to consider this community for my mother’s dwelling.

I have visited Vi @Greyhawk on several occasions and it has always been spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with great attention to cleanliness. While visiting Vi I inquired about the leadership for housekeeping and was informed that Monique Walker was the director of housekeeping. The cleaning staff is always working to keep the environment fresh and inviting. The staff overall is always, friendly, professional, and I always feel comfortable when visiting. The housekeeping staff take pride in providing a safe, clean, caring, and pleasant environment for their residents.

The Vi took very good care of my 95 year old mom after she fell. The staff (administrative, therapy, kitchen, etc) were all friendly and competent. My mom was there almost 3 weeks, and the Vi helped her get stronger so she could return home. Thank you!

We have been at Vi since over 9 years and moving here was the best decision we ever made (other than getting married). We visited three other north valley locations and we liked the room sizes and the facility which is located in a very safe, quiet and beautiful mature landscaping. There were no unknows. We did not know how friendly and social it would be to move to a CCRC. It was many of the surprises that resulted in our move. There are some 50 committees operated by the Residents and this adds to the quality of life at Vi. Food is great, activities are many. No way to get bored!! We love the simplicity, security and social atmosphere. It is a cruise ship that does not move. Without the gambling of course.

Also I found this place to be very friendly and helpful in every way. the list of activities is endless. The Vi has 2 restaurants ( formal & informal). The menus are varied and the food is delicious. As a resident of almost 2 years of Vi living, I am so glad I made the right decision. Not only is the facility first class, but to be able to enjoy the amenities available is such a blessing, never enough time to take advantage of all that is offered. But honestly the absolutely best thing about Vi GRAYHAWK is the family of people. We moved from NYC to Scottsdale 27 years ago after early retirement. We were first introduced to the concept of CCRC residences when Vi at Silverstone first opened their doors in 2010. Since then, many of our friends have sold their home and moved into most of the popular Independent/Assisted Living retirement residences in Scottsdale. The proposed services and activities will be similar and the physical appearance is a matter of personal taste and easy to evaluate. The social environment of each has it's own personality and the quality of the staff is not always easy to accurately judge. We were lucky to choose Vi at Grayhawk several months ago. Friends of ours who moved here in the past three years all spoke with delight on how friendly all of the residents were. The welcome we received was exactly what we were told. In addition, all of the staff always go out of their way to please you. Concierge, Valet, Sales & Marketing, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Dining Services have contributed to making us feel at home in the short time we have lived here. Nothing is perfect, but we know this is not always the case in other facilities ... so we thank you Vi at Grayhawk.

I’m a healthcare worker for a separate home health company who’s seen patients in facilities across Phoenix, and Vi Grayhawk has the most kind and competent staff that I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Everyone is knowledgeable about each resident and works as a team to provide personalized care. This includes the nurses, CNAs, social services, therapists, nutrition team, and the leadership. A big difference I see compared to other facilities is the quality and seemingly low turnover rate of nurses/CNAs, so the employees who see the residents the most actually get to know the residents’ personalities, preferences, and quirks. That and the genuine kindness of each employee I’ve worked with are the main differences that unfortunately aren’t common in many other facilities, but seem to be the standard here.

Faith and I found the perfect garden level unit that walks right out to the putting green. Amy knew what we wanted and she delivered the message as soon as it became available. With 2 dogs, it is so connvenient to take them for a walk. Everything about the Vi is First Class. The food is great. Faith is enjoying the convenience of physical therapy just down the hallway. Sam was wonderful to work with in getting our space personalized. There is great peace of mind knowing that the Vi has our back no matter what the future holds.

We moved into Vi @ Greyhawk about 4 months ago. Everyone - the marketing director Amy Rosen and her staff; the move-in Coordinator Samuel Martinez and his staff; and everyone in the engineering department (who helped us with so many things) - all made the transition from a large home of 26 years into our new home here at Vi much easier! We are enjoying the many activities, the friendly atmosphere, good food and the new environment. The hassle free living certainly makes life more enjoyable and the continuing life aspects have brought relief to our family! We wish we would have done it sooner!

I was looking for a place where I could settle into for the long term. I found VI at Grayhawk to be a very happy and friendly place. The food is excellent, the employees are very friendly and attentive, and the people who live here are extremely friendly. I've only been here a short time, but I am delighted with the quality of the facilities and the friendliness of the people. I have attended a lecture, gone on a hike, started working out in the gym, ate in all three restaurants, and met some very high quality people. I am very happy here and intend to stay for the long-term.

My mom spent eight wonderful years at Vi at Grayhawk. She loved every minute of it. She expressed frequently that she regretted not having moved there sooner after Dad died. She was treated kindly and respectfully by EVERYONE. She maintained an active, social life with her new friends there. When Mom died, Vi assisted, sensitively, in every aspect of closing out her account and provided a prompt refund of the "return of capital" even sooner than they were required to. My family knows Vi at Grayhawk was one of the best things to ever happen for Mom, and we highly recommend it.

My elderly mother-in-law, Annette, has been at this care center for several weeks now, and I cannot express how grateful we are for the exceptional care she has received (my wife is a pediatric nurse at a nearby hospital, so we have a baseline to compare from). After breaking her ankle and being unable to bear weight for six weeks, the staff has gone above and beyond in supporting her recovery. From attentive nursing to compassionate CNAs, everyone treats her with kindness and respect, making her feel like a member of an extended family. Their dedication is evident in every interaction; they are always VERY patient and genuinely caring. Literally, we think, "We need to remember to praise this person," only to think the same thing about the very next person. The center covers everything she needs, from excellent nutrition to occupational and physical therapy. The therapists have been key to her rehabilitation, helping her regain strength and mobility at a steady pace. It’s quite comforting to know that she is in such capable hands; we couldn’t have asked for a better place as she slowly improves. Thank you!

My father was hospitalized and arrived at Vi care center in February. From day one, the staff went above and beyond to make sure he was safe and comfortable. Most of the staff has been there for many years, which is very telling. They all love their jobs and are treated well by management, which, in turn, means that all of the residents are treated with the utmost care and respect. My father had lost a lot of weight before being there but the quality of the food and choices on the menu were so good that he gained back the 18 pounds he lost in 5 months. What sets Vi apart from other skilled nursing and rehab facilities is the kindness of the staff. They truly care for their residents and the nursing and physical therapy is top notch.

I have been a resident of Vi at Grayhawk for 2 1/2 weeks (along with my 7# Shih-Poo, Muffin). We both have been welcomed by staff and residents alike and already have been made to feel part of a family. Prior to moving in, my experience with the sales staff (Amy, Sam, Abbey (and later, Melinda) was exemplary. Everyone of them made me feel very special from the get-go. That same feeling has been reinforced daily. I heartily recommend Vi at Grayhawk for anyone who is considering a retirement community offering continuing care. My two adult children are also grateful to Vi for providing their mother with such a wonderful community in which to spend her remaining years!

My husband and I have considered and looked at CCRC's for a few years. It was a huge and difficult decision to give up our home and move into a smaller space. We chose Vi at Grayhawk because of the outstanding ranking of their health care unit and the warmth of the residents in the community. We attended several "meet the residents" marketing events. Our transition has been flawless. We sold our home very quickly, before the total renovation of our apartment was completed so the sales team at Vi help to arrange housing for us for 5 weeks. They provided a recommendation for an excellent mover and put us in touch with a relocation specialist who drew a floor plan to advise which pieces of furniture would fit in our new space. This experience was much better than we could have expected. The staff is overwhelmingly kind and responsive, the food is delicious (two dining spaces, one formal and one casual) and we are so comfortable in our beautiful apartment. We're thrilled to be at Vi at Grayhawk.

Both of my parents had to go to the hospital at the same time. A few days ago, my mother moved to the Vi Care Center to recover, while my father is still in the hospital. Since my mom has had such a positive experience at the care center, my dad is already looking forward to receiving their help once he gets discharged. My elderly father was admitted to Vi at Grayhawk in early March of 2025 on a rather urgent basis, as his health was rapidly declining in his home environment. I was unsure of how he would adjust, with him being a very anxious and modest man having to rely on the help of strangers in a strange environment, but all of the staff at Vi were very welcoming and provided him with a level of comfort and care that I feel he's probably never before experienced in a healthcare environment. He expresses that he's lost much of his fear in surrendering to professional medical help, and I can see that he completely trusts the staff with his well-being. They are good listeners and those who are exceptional conversationalists are well-noted; he enjoys being treated like a person as well as as patient. Vi, to me, seems much like a hotel with a meal menu that can't be beat and level of cleanliness and attentiveness that deserves special recognition. I can rest assured that my dad is receiving the best care that a skilled nursing rehabilitation facility can provide, and while I'd rather have him at home I've been relieved of some of my anxieties for him thanks to Vi!

As we have become more familiar with our new community we both have been amazed at the positive "can-do" attitude of all the staff, from the diningroom servers and housekeeping, to maintenance and the amazing conceirge desk. The other residents are very welcoming and our lovely mentors couldn't be more helpful, with information on how to navigate our new active lifestyle. Thank you to all.

Living at the Vi has been very nice. Everyone (staff, employees, residents) has been so helpful and friendly. There are so many activities available that you can do. The food at the restaurants have been excellent as well. The Vi is a great place to live.

When I chose Vi at Grayhawk, I looked for 3 major categories. Firstly, was the security of being in a community where there are others present 24 hours a day. Second, I wanted an engaging, positive atmosphere. (The vibe is high energy and happy here!). And finally, the geographic location, with multiple options for outside venues was important to me. After 11 months of living in this fabulous community, I know that I have made the best choice for the remainder of my retirement years.

I arrived a broken, damaged and painful woman and in 2 weeks I am transformed into a functioning human again. Words are simply inadequate to Express the first class status of Grayhawk. My wife experienced a fall and required post hospitalization PT, OT and speech therapy. Our social worker recommended Vi as the best place for her care. It was the best decision for my wife. Her regular therapies were provided by competent and trained staff. Nursing support, nurses and nursing assistants, was excellent. The food was like dining out at a restaurant, spectacular. Although she only had a three week stay, the quality and friendliness of staff made for a very positive experience. On top of that I was able to get to know the staff who greeted me by name during my daily visits. Top-notch care.

Vi is the best! My dad spent almost two years in their skilled nursing unit, and they all went way above and beyond to take great care of him and our family. They became like family to me. Julie and team at the front desk, Adelia who runs the nurses station on the weekends, Amanda, Jennifer, and Kelly in the admin offices. Everyone is stellar. And then there’s Michelle Showalter and the accounting team. From getting us settled in to helping me manage long term care insurance every month. The best in the business. I would highly recommend Vi at Grayhawk!
