My wife and I are new residents at Vi at Silverstone. I can't add a lot to the five-star reviews that praise the staff, facilities, beautiful grounds, excellent service, and fine dining. I agree with them! They are right on! Just as important, of course, is knowing that the healthcare facilities are among the very best available. Shortly after arriving in March, I sent an email to the executive director, Jill Wolverton. I closed that message this way, "Making a major life decision and transition is stressful and sometimes seems daunting. Your staff clearly helped us know that we made the right choice." For readers of this review who have an interest in fitness and exercise, I want to give a special call out to the staff at the fitness center. My wife and I both make frequent use of this fine facility. In addition to cardio workouts on our own, we have training sessions with Nathan Anderson one of the fitness coordinators. Nathan is very knowledgeable and experienced. He helps me evaluate my needs and constructs workouts that help me accomplish my goals. Every workout is challenging and appropriate. Beyond his technical expertise, Nathan is a caring and empathetic professional and an excellent communicator. He's become a friend. Every time I finish a session, I'm truly satisfied. In closing, my wife and I feel like the fitness center and its fine staff members such as Nathan Anderson, is one more reason that Vi at Silverstone is an excellent place to live.

We have lived at the Vi at Silverstone for 12 years, having moved here from PA. Before moving, we toured many senior living facilities throughout the metro Phoenix area. Our decision was easy after touring the Vi at Silverstone in Scottsdale, AZ. The campus is absolutely beautiful and provides all the senior living activities we desired. When asked, we tell everyone that our move here was the best decision we ever made with so many new friends and so many great experiences. At the very top of the "best" list are the physical activity programs - Yoga, Pilates, Pickleball, Aerobic Dance and so many more programs at all levels of ability. An important one for us is the one-on-one personalized training/workout in the well-equipped gym with Vi personnel that are certified, qualified and trained to fit the unique needs of each resident. The other activities offered are too innumerable to list. Every minute of every day has an activity scheduled, from any type of card game, other games, educational speakers, music performances, special outings with transportation provided. We have met and enjoy socializing with so many new friends which is such an added treat at this stage in our lives.

Moving to Vi Silverstone, or any Senior Living location, is both an emotional and financial decision. My wife and I thought about it and spoke with friends & relatives for a couple of years. It's like Living in a High-end Hotel Moving to Vi at Silverstone is hands-down one of the best decisions we've ever made. We've lived here for almost three years, and couldn’t be happier. Before making our decision, we did our homework and toured several other senior living properties in the area. Ultimately, Vi at Silverstone stood out above the rest because it perfectly suited our lifestyle. We feel like we're living in a high-end, luxury hotel. The food is fantastic. Three evening dining options, each with their own menu, which changes weekly. We are very active, and the gym and water aerobics keep us in shape. I currently volunteer in the care unit, which has given me a unique, firsthand look at how the staff operates. On the medical side of things, my wife spent over a year in the care center with excellent care before she passed away. I have recuperated in the care center very nicely after a major surgery. The Social scene has also been excellent. I have participated in our choir for over 10 years. I have been active in many committees , and helped do the publicity on these committees to raise funds for the employees. I found this very rewarding. The living scenario is also excellent. My wife and I moved into the Vi at Silverstone in December 2019. From our first day through today we couldn't think of a place where we would rather be. Would you like to be on a cruise with fabulous people, lots of activities, wonderful food, feeling safe and secure and peaceful surroundings then move to our facility. If you are considering the move into a CCRC, recall that it is a hell of a lot easier to make the move when you don't have to. I've never heard of a person who acted to early where as I know many who acted too late. We looked at Vi at Greyhawk, Miravale, and Sagewood but none of these can touch Vi at Silverstone. This will be your last move, don't make a mistake.

We looked at facilities in four states, this was the eighth one we looked at, and we knew immediately it was for us! That’s never having been to Arizona before - - love the warm weather! We found everyone here to be very warm and friendly, from the very professional staff to the friendly residents. Hospitals and medical facilities, as well as shopping, are all very convenient. It is a beautiful and well maintained property and a solidly constructed structure with lovely apartments. There are two beautiful Dining Rooms with different menus and outstanding food with a fine dining atmosphere. We have many activities and programs available to us to enrich our daily lives. Underground valet parking can’t be beat! We are very fortunate, and HAPPY to be here!

We did an exhaustive search in MN and AZ for the best senior living option with continuum of care. Silverstone easily won and not just based on the weather! We intended to move into a 2 bedroom, but since none were available so we decided on a one bedroom. We have been here for about 2 years and LOVE our one bedroom. It has angled walls which add much interest and has enough space for dining and study area. The grounds and facilities are gorgeous and well maintained. My wife and I moved into Silverstone fall 1915 and it is the best decision we have made. We enjoy this community of 350 outstanding seniors and wonderful staff. Our Care Center is available when we need it. A wide range of activities keep us busy and enjoying our neighbors. Now with the coronavirus raging the world, we are in a safe environment. Nothing could be better. Just to update my review in 2023. We have lived at Silverstone 8 years and love this community more each year.

My wife and I have lived at the VI Silverstone independent Living since 2017. In a nutshell, we love it here. Invaluable friendly social interaction among residents and staff is so important for maintaining good physical and mental health. Amenities, such as meal service, beautiful gardens and great maintenance of the overall structures are second to none! Recently, my wife had a very serious medical experience while in the hopital for a routine procedure. After a week in the ICU, she spent 4 weeks in our Skilled Nursing facility here at the Vi. We were both very impressed by the excellent care she received. This facility is adjacent to the Independent Living building. The staff provides a great many daily activities and outings to keep every one occupied if they so desire. The quality of food and dining services are equivalent to those found in the finished restaurants. At the Vi we have valet and under ground parking. No more having to walk across red hot parking lots mid summer to get to your sun-baked car. The valet will park or retrieve your vehicle for you with a smile! Come and find out what luxurious and carefree living is all about. You deserve it after so many years of hard work!!

We had spent 2 plus years looking into the senior living options and decided for us that our choice had to have independent, assistance living, memory care and skilled nursing to insure we would always be on the same campus. We attended several seminars at Vi @ Silverstone that were informative and contributed to our understanding of the retirement community marketplace overall. We have been at Vi @ Silverstone for 4 months. The open architecture and campus structure provides a convenient environment to meet other residents as well as a very comfortable feel. The residents’ outreach to us far exceeded our expectations with many invitations to have lunch or dinner to get to know each other. The staff is professional, friendly, and responsive. Dining is a high quality and diverse offering with breads and desserts made on premise. The dining rooms provide a charming and comfortable dining experience. The variety of entertainment, seminars, and workshops will keep your interest and involvement.

This is a wonderful place. Over the later years of our career and life together, we always knew we wanted to find a place like the Vi at Silverstone to enjoy the senior years. We moved to Vi in February 2014 and have never regretted a single day since. There is something about this place that seems to bring out in people the best in warmth and friendliness. Maybe it’s the multi lifestyle activities available, the open architecture, the wonderfully landscaped grounds, or the abundant opportunities to just be yourself and enjoy life as you prefer. Or just maybe its the over whelming quality of the dining experience provided consistently by a great Chef and dining staff. For us an added bonus was how pleased our children and grandchildren were that we choose this community as our new expanded home which comes with the availability of an outstanding, professional and great award winning Care Center, if ever needed, as a part of our Life Care Contract. All of this comes together on a daily basis under a superb, dedicated management team and staff that enjoy their work and uniquely look upon the residents as part of their own extended family. My late wife Charlotte and I became residents of Vi at Silverstone in 2013 after I retired from an architectural practice. Our Social life resembled being on a cruise ship with cocktail parties, dining, dancing, and tours every day / evening. We made new and close friendships that helped me continue life as a widower at the Vi Resort. I remain active in Vi residents committees, vocal music, painting, Residents' swim team, and Golf team. I introduced "The Changing Wall" to feature resident artists and promote the art class; see photos. Life is GOOD !!! GLP

Vi at Silverstone destresses the aging process. Our needs are taken care of in a highly professional and friendly manner. All the facilities and amenities are top notch - from the beautiful grounds to the resort like facilities to the gourmet dining - everything is here. The staff goes out of their way to provide for an active, involved life - do as much (or as little) as you wish. We've been here three years now, and cannot imagine living anywhere else.

We have been living at VI for almost 2 years and our only regret is that we didn't move here sooner. It is actually quite difficult to write a review because there is absolutely nothing negative to say and the praise sounds like hyperbole. Food - Terrific. Residents - VERY friendly. Staff - over the top - Activities - You cannot find enough time in the day to participate in all of them from the physically active like hiking, yoga, tai chai, swimming, exercise classes etc, to the more sedentary like bridge, other card games, scrabble, bingo and more.There is a book club, a library, and an acting club. It would be very difficult to name an activity that is not included. It really is the lifestyle that most people dream of living.

Living at Vi at Silverstone is an amazing experience! We have all the amenities, activities and superb cuisine of a luxury cruise. Everyday is filled with a myriad of fitness activities, lectures, card games, concerts, etc. Evenings find us in one of our dining rooms enjoying delicious meals and the camaraderie of new and old friends.
