We recently toured Maravilla Scottsdale, and it is a beautiful campus. The entire property was kept very clean. There are multiple lounges, meeting/card rooms, and an indoor lap pool. We enjoyed a very good lunch and spent time talking with Xavier, the restaurant manager. He was very pleasant and shared a lot of information with us. We looked at a two bedroom apartment and that was also very nice.

My husband I and I attended the "Open House" at the Maravilla last week. We were able to see multiple floor plans that have been added. It was a well organised event, plenty of staff to direct and show the facility. We even spend some time with residents. What a great experience. We will keep this beautiful facility in mind for our future down the road.

One of the prettier retirement homes I have seen. Maryvilla is one of the few places that actually have 24/7 nurses that makes sure the loved one gets the best possible care - Been going for about a year. There's two dining rooms with gourmet food, great 24/7 security - and there's 24/7 activities that happen there. There is few pianos to play on, a small arcade area, a library. There's a huge living room where residents watch movies and the view from the balcony areas is great during July 4th fireworks in the area. No complaints here, you may see protected wild life like Javelins in the area but thats typical in Scottsdale. This area is also next to Fairmont Princess Hotel so out of state loved ones can visit and stay at walking distance. So this place may be more expensive than most places that just let the residents sit around - I seen interaction with residents with the caring nurses that's been there for many years with multiple activities throughout the day. A++ place, would highly recommend.

I was recently widowed and decided to explore the options of senior living communities. I am an active senior and this was one of the deciding factors in choosing Maravilla Scottsdale as their activities were numerous and varied. I never imagined how much fun it would be and how extremely friendly and welcoming the other residents would be. Truth be told, I literally fell in love with the architecture of the whole community. I felt like I had come home. There are many beautiful garden areas with outdoor dining and seating areas. Another thing that I enjoy is that the dining areas are open continuously. No waiting for a meal in off hours. The meals are absolutely delicious and varied. Well as you can see I must say Maravilla Scottsdale was one of the smartest decisions I’ve ever made.

Maravilla has been the home of my brother and his wife for over 10 years. All aspects (living quarters, food, parking, support transportation, activities etc) have been fantastic. But most of all the employees!! Recently my Brother passed away. The Zest Team leader Sharon and assistant Amber were amazing going the extra mile to meet timelines, designed and printed Invitations, Program complete with pictures and graphics and prepared the Maravilla Room for our Celebration of Life. It was a huge success!! Also Sandy and Tracy coordinated the transition of my Sister In Law from Independent Living to the Assisted Living section of Maravilla with compassion and respect. Wow!! Maravilla Assisted Living in Scottsdale is so much better than I could had ever dreamed. As a physician, I have been to many assisted living facilities in the state over the past 38 years and I can tell you that nothing compares to the amazing level of care at Maravilla. I know the reason my father is healthy and thriving there is because of the dedicated staff - so attentive, caring, and always with a smile. And unlike so many other places that have frequent turnover, he has had the same staff and nurses for years. This says so much about all of these angels who day after day go above and beyond. Sandy, the head nurse, is always available and there to help. Everyone I know loves Sandy and her team. She is one of the best nurses I have even known, and knows every detail about every resident. I have even seen the pharmacist call Sandy when she was home on her day off to answer a question “ and of course Sandy was happy and eager to help. And all the nursing aides and support staff are truly amazing. When I come to visit my father I feel like they are all friends, and I'd even love to hire away a few but promised Sandy I would not! The truth is that years ago when family was considering Maravilla versus other facilities in Scottsdale and Phoenix, I didn’t realize how amazing the staff were, and actually argued against my father moving into Maravilla, thinking they offered nothing more than any other facility offered. But I admit that I was so wrong and now that he has lived there several years, I understand why Maravilla Assisted living is truly the very best and am grateful he lives there. When you first get there, it is obvious that you feel like you are in a 5-star resort “ everything is top notch, high end quality. The outdoor patio furniture is so well built and so comfortable that I even looked to get the same for myself. And my father loves the food - so delicious and with great variety and specials every day. I would prefer to eat there with my father rather than many restaurants in Scottsdale. The grounds are so beautiful and well maintained. I have met so many other residents who could have lived anywhere and have chosen Maravilla from all over the US and even internationally. But at the end of the day, the only thing that really counts is the unequaled level of care you or your loved ones will receive by the nurses, aides, and staff. And that makes Maravilla worth every penny.

My father lived in the independent living section for 4 years before moving to the Enliven memory care unit. This review is about Enliven. I have to say that the care my father received could not have been better and I feel certain that Enliven is one of the best if not the single best memory care in AZ. The facility itself is akin to a high end hotel. It was always clean and well maintained. There are a limited number of places so the feeling was always small and intimate. The most impressive aspect however is the staff. There is very little turnover here as the staff are well compensated. The same excellent carers were looking after my father from day 1 till his last breath. I cannot adequately express in words how grateful I am that my father received such loving and compassionate care during his entire time at Enliven. I really could not have wished for a better experience than what he received at Enliven. In the end his carers thanked me for the privilege of looking after my Dad which was more than ironic as I am the one forever thankful of them. If you have a loved one who needs memory care, I can recommend Enliven with all my heart. Just as I have, one day you will thank your lucky star that you made the right choice in choosing Enliven

A week ago we moved into Maravilla and we could have not chosen a more wonderful place. Beginning with our initial visit to look around the sales and executive staff were most kind and helpful in assisting us in making our decision to move. Maravilla is beautiful, the residents are warm, welcoming and friendly. We get stopped in the hall or dining room daily and asked, "are you new?" They welcome us and say let's have dinner as soon as you get settled. It has only been a week since moving in day and we feel at home. The staff is always ready to assist us in whatever our needs might be, whether it be connecting internet and TVs, hanging pictures, or answering our multitude of questions. Hats off to the chef and dining room staff. The menu is varied, the food is delicious and special requests are welcomed. We just couldn't be happier and want to express our thanks to the entire staff and residents for their assistance in making this transition. Because we have been so busy unpacking and getting settled we have not taken part in the various activities that are available, but we will. We look forward to many wonderful years in our new home at Maravilla.

Maravilla Scottsdale exudes warmth and genuine class, topped with compassion from the moment one walks in to find themselves greeted by hospitable receptionists, to maintenance that goes above and beyond (even so kind as to offer a helping hand with my computer issue) to take time sharing resources as well as providing extensive support. The nurses as well as caregivers have elephant-sized hearts, impressive experience and fab personalities! One can see walking up and down the hallways, in the living room or dining room, the extent of that staff's devotion to the residents as well as their families. Management figures (such as Kaila and Sandy) are role models of what this world needs more of, truly a breath of fresh air, builds trust, and goes above and beyond to create a tranquil along with welcoming environment full of joybursts. The team at Maravilla is amazing. Our loved one spent her final three years in their Assisted Living and Enliven (their memory care) programs. She thrived during those years. I cannot speak highly enough of Maravilla Scottsdale's Enliven Memory Care unit ("Enliven"). We moved to Scottsdale from the Philadelphia area in August 2024, and simultaneously moved my mother from memory care in PA to Maravilla's Enliven unit. I was impressed when I initially toured Enliven (with both the staffing levels and the beauty of the facility), but could not have anticipated the staff's exceptional level of care for my mother. As the family member that visited my mom at Enliven at least weekly, I frequently interacted with the staff and observed the staff with my mom and other residents. I was surprised to learn in the following months that the staff (from Enliven Director Kaila to unit nurses to aids and other staff) knew so well my mother's and the other residents' individual personalities, preferences, likes/dislikes, dementia-related behavioral idiosyncrasies, etc. Unfortunately, my mother only had a bit over four months at Enliven before passing away. From the time she moved in and particularly at end-of-life, the Enliven staff were empathetic and compassionate to both my mother and me, making a very difficult time more than a bit easier. I actually miss seeing many of the staff members as I was privileged to get to know them during my mother's time at Enliven. Enliven's communication was also excellent. Whenever there was medical question/issue or something out of the ordinary (for example, a skin tear due to her thin skin and resulting from transferring from wheelchair to bed), I would receive a phone call and summary of how the Enliven staff proposed to handle/treat. In summary, I am grateful to the staff and that my mother was at Maravilla Scottsdale's Enliven Memory Care unit for the last 4+ months of her life and would not hesitate to choose Enliven again if a family member requires memory care in the future. Thank you to Enliven for taking care of my mother (and me, too)!!

They have schedules every day for our activities. I like that they celebrate the birthdays of all the arm forces plus they celebrate all the residents birthdays. They offer church services. They have games for us to play to help our memory, they have wonderful documentaries. There are many exercise groups to help us. They have an IT called Zest to help us with that phone issues. They have several fun card games, they have movies in the theater that we always enjoy. Caregivers are amazing! I can’t say one above the other-they’re all wonderful. In the 7 years that I have lived here at Maravilla, I have taken part in a large volume of varied activities. Some of them for new to me. The Zest Activity staff are excellent. They provide a variety of lectures, live entertainment, special events and are very good at getting people involved. They are open to trying new items presented by the residents like Readers Theater, Cornhole Tournaments, You Tube Concerts in the theater and many The Fitness Director has a good variety of exercise classes and is available to help the residents in their own exercise fitness plan. There are so many activities that some days you have to choose what you want to do.
