Ranking The Best Assisted Living Facilities in Hawaii
Our research into Hawaii senior living communities is thorough, and we look carefully at the Hawaii Department of Public Health records to make sure each facility we have in our directory does not have major violations or complaints against it. We read online reviews to find out what previous residents and family members thought of the facility. We take into consideration the affordability of the facility, and amenities offered.
The median monthly cost of assisted living facilities throughout Hawaii is $5,500. This money will pay for all of your meals, laundry services, housekeeping, and your overall housing needs. Additional care needs, such as medication reminders, nursing care, or memory care, are all optional and will cost extra.

What residents and loved ones have to say about Ilima at Leihano Assisted Living:
My parents arrived there in 2016. They both have limitations including blindness and hard of hearing. Ilima Administration, Mark and Valerie have been nothing but accommodating. The staff have been caring and helpful especially while my father struggled with stage 4 cancer and radiation treatments. They have been doing the best they can during this pandemic as well. We are grateful to have such a facility in Kapolei!-C S

What residents and loved ones have to say about Home Instead Senior Care:
We needed home care for my mother post op on very short notice. Ty Bedford the office manager came to our home that same day for an assessment and three days later for a 3 hour detailed briefing. She was secured an extremely attentive, personable, reliable, diligent group of aides. Ericcka and Erion personally came to train them. Their responsiveness, attention to detail, reliability and professionalism is top rate. It was a tremendous relief to have my mom so well cared for.-Jane Page
