Ida Kulver House Ravenna has been a remarkable community to work with. From Katrina the director, to Emily in the wellness center the team are true stars! The communcation has been great and the level of care they show towards the residents is truly motivating. Keep it up!

Ida Culver Ravenna has the feel of a neighborhood community. A lot of the residents have been living in the area their whole lives and have family close by. That is not to say they arent welcoming to new people. They are. The lobby is always busy with residents and visitors. The activities are the best I have seen anywhere. The staff is very caring and helpful. My Father started out Independent and progressed to Assisted Living. The staff helped the transition go smoothly and made sure Dad had the support he needed. We ultimately moved him closer to me. The director gave me wonderful suggestions to make the move as stress free as it could be. The Director in particular went over and above. Highly recommend Ida Culver Ravenna.

Friendly staff and residents, excellent food (3 meals a day included in the price!), nice neighborhood for walking, large, beautiful gardens. And you can bring your dog! Cats also, in-room only.

Just the best, thats all we can say. As my mom says its old lady heaven. The staff and facility are beautiful. Top notch, food and services. You dont even realize you are in a retirement community. Lovely.

Our mother has been at Ida Culver Ravenna for almost four years now. She loves it there and so do we. Staff have been amazing: caring, professional and just plain nice. She has many friends and everyone knows her by name. Our mother has mild Alzheimers and they have a Memory Fitness program that has helped her continue to be involved in activities she would otherwise forget about. The activities are great - really interesting and varied. Family are also invited to attend special events, which I think is really smart and fun. And we dont have to worry about her becoming too isolated, even though my brothers and their spouses visit frequently and take her to family gatherings and other events. I live in the Bay Area to cant participate very often but am updated weekly with a list of the activities she was involved in, with photos! This way I know what shes been involved with and can see pictures of her with her friends, laughing, looking and pondering. Helps me feel more involved with her life. And when I call her (at least once a week) I can ask how she enjoyed specific things she did. Mom doesnt always remember them but talks about how many things are going on there.Recently our mom had a mild stroke. Increasing her care at Ida Culver Ravenna has been a fantastic boon for everyone. Our mother was able to stay and we could relax knowing that shes getting the extra help she needs. Our mom is very very happy here and calls it home.

It is a challenge for family members to find a retirement place for aged parents to call home. If youre considering a retirement home for your aged parents do not look any further. Ida Culver House Ravenna is the place for you. The staff there are very nice, professional, encouraging, helpful, compassionate, reliable and the fact that they know what they are doing will give you a piece of mind knowing that your aged parents are in good hands. What I have observed is that staff at Ravenna will go beyond the call of duty to care for their clients and assist family members. Thats what we all want more especially if you have aged parents. I highly recommend Ida Culver House Ravenna
