My mother lived at Empress through the end of her life. The new management made a world of difference to the quality of her care. Hiring excellent caregivers and leadership staff that truly supported her needs. Activities increased and the food improved. It was a blessing to watch the interactions of the caregivers with my mom who felt safe and cared for every day.

Our family placed our grandfather into Empress Senior Living a few months ago and we're happy with the staff and facilities. They recently changed to a new management company called Leisure Care. They have increased activities which is important to ensure our grandfather gets enough exercise. He seems happy and more engaged.

I was in the market for new housing for my grandfather who was in a senior living center our family wasn't satisfied with and found Empress Senior Living in Laurelhurst through a recommendation from a friend. Long story short, we ended up choosing them because of the their reputation of senior living in the marketplace. We have been incredibly happy with our choice and would recommend Empress Senior Living to anyone. Their level of care, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail is unmatched. For the first time in so long, our family feels at peace with our grandfather's living situation. He is not only comfortable, he is happy! It has been a joy to see him excited about life again. The management team truly cares and it feels great to know he is with people who care about him and his happiness.

Empress Senior Living is a new community in Seattle's Laurelhurst neighborhood, which offers assisted living, memory care, and hospice care. I have visited Empress three times, and am duly impressed. The facilities are sparkling. I especially like the rooftop garden area that is available for memory care residents. The Site Manager, John Murphy, has extensive experience in the longterm care industry. He served previously as Site Manager at the longterm care facility where my wife resides, and his compassion and empathy were obvious. The staff are engaged and caring. I know at least one member of the Life Enrichment team at Empress, who worked previously with my wife, and he is outstanding. If you are looking for assisted living or memory care in northeast Seattle, Empress is definitely worth a visit.

The Empress feels like home. All the spaces seem well planned for fostering community among the residents. And, and this is a big A N D, the residents' families are welcome. It's not a space to drop Mom off and hope she is looked after. It's a place where residents can have the hard stuff looked after -- and carers can focus on the loving relationship.

What a great addition the Empress Senior Living is to the Laurelhurst community and greater Seattle seniors and families! The staff are compassionate, professional, and eager to help! The decor is classy and inviting and feels like home! With 15+ years experience in the senior field I know that not all senior communities and the companies that own them have this level of integrity. I would highly recommend the Empress to my own family.
