The place was nice and the staff was nice most of the time. This was some years ago. I only wish that they would be more proactive before deciding someone has dementia. My mother acted as if she had dementia by her behavior. After I got her tested for a urinary infection at my own initiative, she gradually improved and I moved her to a new facility. She was back to previous self again. The staff at the other facility enjoyed her company and said how great she was for her age. This is all after she was treated for the infection. People need to be sure of a full medical checkup if someone is diagnosed with dementia. We had a miserable few months before she was diagnosed and treated.

Be cautious moving your family members here. The employees are on a revolving door, get paid about just as much as McDonald's employee and get treated like garbage. The administrator is about as fake as they come She will tell you what she thinks you want to hear and underdelivers. They hire just about anyone that will walk through their doors. They invest very little into their staff. Often they are short staffed leaving 1 staff member to care for anywhere from 10-16 patients with various levels of needs at a time over an 8 hour shift. For the staff Christmas party the admin got literal buckets as "prizes" for "lucky" staff members as a drawing. Your staff needs to be able to pay rent and eat, they don't need buckets. I really wish I could say I was making that up. Imagine it's Christmas and you are barely getting by and your boss gives you a bucket for Christmas. Crazy.

We stop by regularly to visit a friend, and have found the staff to be friendly and attentive. The accommodations seem to be very good and comfortable.

Attentive staff that have patience. The attendant found my grandma when we were in a different area than usual to bring her meds and eye drops. He even noticed that her hearing aid wasn't working right and fixed it. He was so sweet with Grandma and it was heart warming to see. They have a big room you can rent out for family gatherings. They have everything from regular retirement apartments, to rehab rooms for handling patients in recovery, and different areas for every step until end of life care. The room my grandma has is surprisingly big with a separate tv room and private bathroom. They have people that come in and give her manicures, kids that come in and craft with them, musical performances, puzzles, and lots of activities.

My Grandmother lived out her last years here and my Mother is there now! Starting to get to know some of the residents neat people on their younger days! Stop in and visit your loved ones they need your more then you know. The caregivers do what they can but there is nothing like your personal attention!—

I was at this location to take a test and every single person I met along the way was super friendly and welcoming, I got a little lost and when I went into the main office they were super helpful and I was even led in person. The environment is open and friendly and I'm glad I had the test there because having those first encounters really eased my nerves.

Guardian Angel Homes is exactly what my mother needs with her Alzheimer's. They take great care of her. I can sleep at night without worrying if she is ok.

This retirement home really is my favorite. I visit 11 different retirement homes every month to sing. The activities group is very dedicated to making sure all residents are getting good entertainment. The staff seems to be quite pleasant. The residence interact well with visitors. I really like the setup that has the residents split up into several houses. Two of these houses are dementia units.
