With over 20 years of experience in senior living I am proud to be part of Atria and especially Atria Canyon Creek. They are the leaders in Independent Living. Atria was one of the first in the country to receive 1st 2nd rounds of Covid vaccines. Atria Canyon Creek and their support team in Louisville offer unsurpassed management and vision. With strict guidelines for administration, cleanliness, culinary, activities, education, environment, ascetics help Atria produce the happiest residents anywhere!

While visiting my Aunt at Atria Canyon last month, I couldnt believe that a place like this really existed. The food, the facility and the staff are over the top. Just an overall comfortable environment to live in.

Patty and the team (Melissa and Charlotte) have been just great at helping me w-paperwork, answering any questions, and upgrade to the bigger apt that I wanted to begin with. Im so looking forward to being there (I move next week), I know someone that already lives there and she says everything is just excellent. I know it will be just from the people Ive met, and all the review Ive seen and heard about. Thanks Patty and team!

Moving to another state for a senior is somewhat daunting; during a pandemic is downright scary (especially since in person visits to the new facility were not even in the realm of possibility). FaceTime and Charlottes patience for never ending questions made my choice easy; getting settled here could have been a total nightmare, but instead was a complete validation that I had made the right choice! My movers, for whatever reason, took two plus weeks to bring my furniture from Ohio to Texas which would have left me and my cats in an empty apartment; COVID testing added an additional consideration to the mix. Atria encouraged me to move into a guest apartment (fully furnished and beautifully appointed) until my furniture arrived. Their kindness and generosity made my transition to Independent Living in another State during a pandemic a cherished, fun memory. As far as I am concerned, Atria Canyon Creek has become home AND family! I am forever grateful!

My Dad moved into Atria a month ago and we are impressed with the place. Atria feels like a resort, everyone is friendly and kind. It is a large complex with many walking areas, both inside and outside. On colder days, my Dad enjoy the indoor walks, it feels like a museum with lots of paintings and pictures to look at. With the pandemic, the meals are preordered and delivered. My Dad enjoys the meals, the portions are good, he can be eating the whole day!We worked with Patti Heath and Charlotte Slaver, both Sales Directors. Thank you, Patti and Charlotte, for being accommodating, making the move quick and seamless!

My family and I evaluated 14 senior citizen centers in the Dallas metroplex area and happily chose Atria Canyon Creek. It was the best choice we could have made and has exceeded my expectations on every level. One of the advantages-selling points of Atria for me is that you do not have to leave the main buildings to go to any of the common areas such as the dining room, gym, theater, post office, activity room, indoor pool etc. which is important in Texas in summer and winter. The staff has been most accommodating in every respect which is not always easy when dealing with a group of demanding seniors. There is a spirit of camaraderie among the residents and friendships are easily formed. There are an abundance of activities and outings available if you chose to participate and parties are being organized throughout the year. Great job Atria !

I moved my mother and 104 year old grandmother from Virginia Beach to Plano a little over a year ago, so they could be close to me and my wife. We looked at several independent livingacilities before choosing the Atria and Canyon Creek. We found the staff and residents to be welcoming and the environment very clean and tidy. Theres also no shortage of activities!Since their arrival, my wife and I try to get over for dinner at least once a week. I can say with complete honesty that although the service could be timelier, the food has never disappointed! The Atria was the right decision

My Company works with Senior Citizens on a daily basis. We downsize, we pack and move them. We work with several Retirement Communities in the East Texas and Dallas area. We offer a great service and care about our clients. This week we moved a lady into Atria. We noticed a few issues in the apartment by the end of our day there. We completely set up for them so they dont have to do anything except enjoy their new home. I went downstairs to let them know of the issues in her apartment. I was told by the woman at the desk that our client would just have to report them AFTER she was totally moved in, she was arriving the next day. I let her know that I was sure our client would like these matters taken care of BEFORE she was settled. I mean, it actually reminded me of a public apartment complex attitude. We will fix it when we want to, except the money these people pay to live in this type of community should be enough for Atria to want to make sure their clients are comfy and happy. Obviously not at Atria. Here is a list of just a few issues. So, before you decide on Atria, go to the apartment you will be residing in and go over it with them. Check everything or you will be on a repair list.1 Ceiling fan in Master Bedroom was inoperable. (Minor issue but still)2. The drains in both bathrooms and the kitchen produced a very toxic odor which soon filled the apartment and we were opening doors for fresh air. Her excuse for this toxic odor was its been a few months since anyone has lived in this apartment. Wrong answer for me. Again, we care about our clients. just have to ask, anyone, would you want these issues taken care of BEFORE you were moved in? Last but not least, do you really want to reside in a community with this type of Management? Its your money and its a lot of money, too much for inconsistencies and employees with an I dont care attitude.

My mother moved in to Atria Canyon Creek a little over a year ago, and absolutely loves it. Staff are all nice and respectful, food is good, and the vast majority of residents are friendly, colorful, or both.I read some of the poor reviews and wonder where they are living. In regards to food, if you do not like a main entree, there is a backup list of food items always available so you can always have something to eat that you will like. She especially enjoys the wide range of social activities available.nly complaint is the price, but we are pretty frugal and would likely complain about that at any location.

We (my wife, Donna and I) have been residents of this community for two years. The residents are so friendly and interesting. We feel they have become our extended family. We have felt very welcomed and accepted. We especially enjoy the variety of opportunities to exercise. Keeping healthy and active is VERY important to us. There are a variety of classes that encourage residents to keep moving and to socialize with others such as: Yoga, Balance, Strength Training, Water Aerobics, Cardio Drumming, Meditation and Power Walking. We do not play a lot of card games but there are a great variety available. We enjoy Bean Bag Baseball and Chair Volleyball and do play Keno and Bingo, occasionally. There have also been trips to the Meyerson, State Fair Music Hall and the Eisemann so we do have opportunities to enjoy good music and theatre. The staff is also very friendly and professional.

My husband and I have lived at Atria Canyon Creek for almost 2 years and we love it. The food is good, the employees are kind and sensitive, and we have made some great friends. It was quite a big deal for us to move from Maryland, downsize from a 3 floor townhouse to an apartment, into a place where we did not know anyone. Everyone we met made us feel like we were home and we enjoy all the activities. This has been a great experience for us.

Outside maintenance is spotty...rooms and closets are large...housekeeping is minimal but usually ok...food also is OK but sometimes not served hot to the table..nice dining room and residents are friendly.

We evaluated 14 different independent living facilities in the Dallas metroplex before happily settling on Atria. I have now been living here for almost 2 years and I find the place to be great from every point of view. One of the big selling points is that you do not have to leave the main buildings to go anywhere like dining room, activity room, theater, gym , post office, bistro, salon, etc. which is important in Texas both in winter and summer. The friendly staff goes out of their way to accommodate all reasonable requests and organizes a extensive list of activities, trips and concerts. The party atmosphere is great ! Management is available 24-7.There is a great spirit of camaraderie among all residents. Friendships are being formed easily here. My family and I made the right decision to select Atria . You will not find anything better I believe.

Don and I just made a move to Atria Canyon Creek and it feels like staying at a resort on vacation! The residents are so friendly, the staff so accommodating and the dining menu has been wonderful. We are enjoying this transitional move experience and love our new home!

My mom has been here a year and we are so very impressed with all aspects! Amazing staff - so very helpful and kind! She loves not having to worry about the upkeep of a house and LOVES going to the dining room for meals. She likes talking and visiting with all the residents and the delicious food! She is so happy and that makes me happy! We used the private dining room for a family function a few weeks ago and it turned out wonderful! Thanks for all you do!! It is very appreciated!! PS - Her apartment is beautiful!

Atria Canyon Creek is my favorite workplace - and Ive been here over 5 years. The staff is caring and professional, the apartments are the largest in this area, the food is prepared fresh and tasty, and the best part... seeing residents having fun, laughing, trying new things, exercising, dining together, going on trips and more. The folks are so friendly and welcoming. The indoor heated pool is a favorite! I wish I could join in the many creative arts classes.) Residents live carefree with maintenance here 7 days a week and concierge available 24-7. I get to see residents aging well, which encourages me to live my best life. Definitely put this community on your list of places to visit!

I am a move manager. Weve moved quite a few clients into Atria Canyon Creek. They love it. Atria has so much to offer for a full life style. They all wish they had made the move sooner.

My clients LOVE their new home at Atria Canyon Creek! Ive heard many times how they wish theyd move here sooner and often ask themselves why they waited! The staff bends over backwards to exceed resident satisfaction! As a matter of fact, ask Charlotte or Jerry to share their recent resident satisfaction survey with you. The results are AMAZING!

A really beautiful place with a wonderful sense of caring and community! Happy people live and work here!

I moved into Atria Canyon Creek in June of 1013, arriving in North Texas after 37 years in Honolulu, Hawaii. Everyone asks why I left Hawaii for Texas and if I miss Hawaii. The truth is I miss it hardly at all. My daughter and three grandsons live in Plano, and Atria is a supremely friendly and pleasant place to live. I selected it partly because of the good atmosphere here and the large number of excellent exercise classes. I go to an exercise class every day except Sunday, and some days even offer more than one choice. All the staff here are friendly and helpful including the dining room personnel. Good food and interesting dining companions make dinner an event to look forward to. A wide range of entertainment is offered as well. I know I selected the best place for me.
