I am a healthcare professional and visit ALFs and SNFs on a regular basis . Today was by far the best experience I have had in a facility in years. Ladies at the front desk greeted me with warm smiles, caregiver Nina was extremely helpful and very pleasant and Priscilla was also very helpful and friendly. Patients appeared to be well taken care of and facility was very clean. Great job!

Margaret, Reba and Delina make a great management trifecta at The Anthology of Plano. Being in senior care for several years I wouldn't hesitate to refer to them. I know they will go above and beyond for the families they are fortunate enough to care for. Great job guys keep up the good work.

This is a nice place to live. They take of us and try to protect us From all things. The staff is good. The rooms are kept up to standard. Entertainment is good, Food not So good at times but that is Common at all homes. I would not change , I like the Care that is offered when needed. Sandy.

Anthology of Plano is the best Assisted Living facility Ive seen in a LONG time! The ENTIRE team chips in and helps when its needed and their residents happiness and safety always comes first. Stephanie, Linda and Heather are just stellar and its very obvious by their servant hearts that they are in the perfect field of work! They arent afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump in, even though they are part of the administrative team. They are leading their community by a beautiful example of teamwork!

Anthology of Plano has been a real blessing to our family and we are very happy with our experience here. In May our mother had a health event and we had to make an immediate move from her independent living facility to assisted living. As this was during Covid it was extremely challenging as assisted living was new territory to us and we had to make a fast decision under difficult conditions. The staff at Anthology bent over backwards to help us move her in and get her settled. The staff goes above and beyond and visited her multiple times a day, especially when she first arrived. We have gotten to know the core staff that work with her and they are very responsive and doing all they can to help the residents be safe and feel connected especially during this quarantine. They are working hard not only to keep residents happy and connected, but safe and they are COVID-free which is extremely important to us. Balancing those two goals is a huge challenge! Mom says the staff is always cheerful and there is always someone a few steps away if she needs anything. As she recovered and got stronger she asked- Does this mean I have to move back to my old place? 🙂 Highly recommend!

My Mom has been a resident since the facility opened. The staff is competent and caring and the Executive Director Linda is really on top of things! They have done their very best to keep residents engaged during these trying times! Linda has done an outstanding job keeping families informed by email of the current status and has made herself free to receive calls, texts from family with concerns. It is due to her diligence that the facility has remained Covid Free which is an amazing accomplishment! Residents are their family as well and are treated as such!

My family wanted to write a letter to the main company that now owns Anthology of Plano, however we felt that the community would not be able to see this as it is very important that this team is aware of our feelings. We had previously seen this community a couple years ago but at that time we decided to not make the move. We recently were confronted with that decision again. We were very nervous due to COVID and all of the constraints that we were hearing and unfortunately had experienced while at the hospital. We were immediately put in touch with Stephanie who instantly started putting our anxieties to ease. Then we had a very in-depth conversation with Linda ( which she spoke to us multiple times over a weekend- poor thing!- my family put her through a lot of questions)- Her knowledge base and just being able to walk us through the process made us feel even more comfortable and took away all of the anxiety. We have now comfortably moved and simply love this group of people. The dining servers are so pleasant and always come to the door with a smile. After the first night- Linda visited with our mom and asked her how was her first night! We have not been able to be back in the apartment after we did the initial set up ( which the girls there helped us put things in place also!)- but every time we have spoken to our mom she is happy and we can hear the conversations that have taken place. I just want you to know that this is an incredible team and we are so very happy we chose to come to this facility. The updates that we have received from Linda have provided us an ongoing assurance that they are living up to their commitment to take care of our Mom. And, to know that they are still COVID free after all this time is astonishing. All of this is a true testament of the leadership you have in place at this facility. They give over 100% and we are so very grateful. Thank you for all you do.

We looked around at many different facilities before making this decision. Our father has been living in another independent living for five years and is now unable to dress himself without help after a stroke. We felt blessed to have met Linda and the people at Athology. They have taken wonderful care of my dad. Thank you to the activities staff for making his days brighter.

Linda the director and Stephanie the sales rep were so available and supportive in helping us with our questions and made us feel safe and confident about our mothers care. My parents moved here almost a year ago and I couldnt be happier that we found this facility. Linda and Stephanie (the Director and nurse) have kept my siblings and I abreast of any changes, good or bad, with my dad. My mom loves it so much because she gets up in the morning and has coffee with her girlfriends and plays cards. When they were home, they would sit in their living room doing nothing. My parents health has actually improved here and they are eating meals that are nutritious and well-balanced. I continue to be impressed with this community and have nothing but gratitude for the work they do. Blessings!

This is a beautiful community that promotes an overall sense of well-being for all its residents. The building itself is gorgeous and has a boutique feel to it which I love. The residents dont get lost in the crowd as can sometimes happen in large communities. From the moment I stepped in the front door, I felt a strong sense of home. The residents are well looked after by an attentive and caring staff; the apartments and common areas are kept up and maintained beautifully and, if you walk through the community, you will see the smiling faces of people who have chosen to make Mapleshade their home. I would recommend this to anyone needing assisted living. The Village at Mapleshade delivers on every level. Thank you!

Hi- My aunt has lived in this great community for over 2 years now. I have gotten to know several family members, seniors and most of the staff that work there. My family loves all of them!! We have seen some transitions and I can tell you there has been so much improvement from the previous Executive Director!! The last one NEVER came out of her office and seem to not want to speak to any family members. I have spoken with the current Executive Director ( she has been there a year) on a Saturday night and she has always made herself available to speak to any one of us. She has done a wonderful job instilling a caring environment and getting things done!! My aunt does receive care and we have very transparent communication with the nurses. The management team in place now, rocks! We still have issues getting light bulbs changed at times, but the communication is so much better. The staff seem to be happier and the seniors are clean and always smiling. There are days their trash may not get emptied but you must understand the challenges they face every day. This community is full of love and caring hearts and this is priceless. Thank you Mapleshade for caring and being there!

Cant say enough positive things about this place. Although our mom was there just a short while before her passing, from the beginning to the time we had to clear her apt out it was a great experience for her as well as for our whole family. The staff, nurses, therapists and dining staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive and were on top of their game when our mom needed them, and the food was wonderful! They sincerely care and it feels like family here. Will recommend this place to anyone that asks us.

They call this assisted living but it truly feels much more like an upscale hotel that just happens to have 24-hour care. Every time I visit, I am greeted with smiling faces. Its clean, friendly and the residents are truly happy. I have seen enough assisted living places in Dallas to know that there is something special about it. So many activities and the food is just as good as any highly-rated restaurant. To the Director, congratulations on a job well done. This really is a lovely place for people to live out their lives.

This is a great assisted living community with a family oriented style, great food, and excellent care. It feels more like a hotel where the residents are encouraged, supported to be as independent as they want and provided fun and safe activities.

The Village at Mapleshade is a wonderful place. I go regularly to visit my friend. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly. There are many things to do...the wine and cheese socials are the best

This facility is top of the line, and all around amazing experience. The staff is so personable and kind (especially Michael Larsen, Monica Gurrola, Debra Burchett).
