Eagle Ridge seems to make life vibrant for each resident there. The staff is respectful, caring and involved with residents in meaningful art activities, music activities, various games, dancing, cooking, etc. There seems to be every effort to continue to make life meaningful in numerous ways for residents as they live and move in this phase of life.

One person who deserves a very special shout-out is Carla Miller, the Activities Director. Carla is absolutely amazing and has such a beautiful heart. The love, compassion, and energy she brings into the lives of the residents is something truly special. She creates meaningful activities that keep everyone engaged, smiling, and feeling included. You can tell this isn’t just a job to her”it’s a calling. She has a gift for making each resident feel important and cared for, and our family is so grateful for the joy she brings every single day. Knowing our loved one is surrounded by such compassionate and dedicated people means everything. My mother lived here over 4 years and recently passed away. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the caregivers and med techs who took such tremendously wonderful care of her! With memory care there are seasons of struggles and these caring and compassionate workers handled these situations with great respect and dignity. I was truly overwhelmed in the two weeks of my mom's passing how much they supported and encouraged me through a difficult season. Their tenderness and respect was beyond words!! I give a huge shout out to Talita, Shannon, Connie, Shondra, Merle, Duchess, Cynthia (probably someone I forgot) and the third shift crew. They are Angels for sure* This place also runs by the good measures of Amanda up front Brenda in activities and Brenda the fabulous housekeeper! Sometimes we think it's the Directors and people higher up that make or break these facilities but in reality it is these people who are busting their rear everyday to just love on our loved ones that make it all happen! I will be forever in memory of these wonderful people who served and loved my mom with such amazing compassion!

My mom lived there for 6 years. The care was good, the food good, nice planned activities. However I had trouble constantly with the people doing the billing. They could never get it right, causing delays with getting payment from Mom's LTC insurance. It's a very simple form, with 4 questions to answer, and a signature and date needed. i wouldn't have left a review on this except that today, SIX WEEKS after Mom died, I get a notice for a bill for the month of September. Even though per the lease, there's a 14 day moveout charge, that went 3 days into September, that was paid several weeks ago. If you have a loved one in this home and have long term care insurance, know that there will be problems.

Before placing my mother in memory care in March of 2022, my wife and I toured and interviewed 5 different facilities before deciding on Eagle Ridge in Denton, TX. Hands down we made the right choice. Caring for elderly folks in need of memory care is not a job to them, it is a calling, and they do it very well. Elizabeth oversees daily programming and operations and manages the facility very effectively. Nataki leads the resident wellness program and she and her staff of med techs and caregivers are always on top of things. The entire Eagle Ridge staff is tuned in to any changes in resident behavior and medical issues and keeps the family looped in. My mother passed away recently and our friends at Eagle Ridge treated her situation and our family with the utmost respect and dignity. We recommend them highly.

The new Director is OUTSTANDING! She is always on top of things and prompt to address any issues. She knew my Mom's Birthday the morning I called and had already reminded my mom of her special day! During the week of the Texas Snowstorm/Freeze she lead the whole staff supremely through the challenges and was proactive to order supplies ahead! My Mom has been a resident for over a year and the support staff is equally phenomenal in their ability and heart/caring! Brenda and Sheilah are the backbone to daily operations and couldn't be finer people-definitely in their calling! Claire has done an exceptional job with activities bringing in a crockpot and helping the residents feel purpose and keeping them participating. I sincerely appreciate each person's contribution to the well being of my Mom and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Eagle Ridge** 🙂

We found Eagleridge after moving our loved one to another memory care that was not prepared to care for an Alzheimer’s patient. We were guided by a friend ,whose rehab business has staff Working in Eagleridge. Her staff ALWAYS Commented on the caregivers and the management as being very caring and kind. Also a family friend has an Alzeimers Group and she sees many facilities and this one was on the top of her list. These TWO gave us the assurance that this was the best place for us. And it was. The staff has the training to care appropriately for Alzeimers patients. And they are kind. Even when your family member can not communicate-they all know KINDNESS. And they always have MUSIC which is the one thing The Alzeimers brain still remembers and it comforts. The other activities are all planned daily and provide structure and fun. We found the best place for our husband/father. The food is the best. The smaller setting and quiet dining areas , as well as delicious and nutritious meals and snacks , add a pleasurable experience. My father and I visited many different memory care facilities over 2 years to find the best possible care for mom. The best fit was Village @Valley Creek, and the primary reason is that from the top down these folks are good human beings who both understand the unusual peculiarities of Alzheimer's/dementia sufferers and look for staff who work with compassion and attentiveness. Mom resided there roughly 2 1/2 years, and I can't fully describe how much comfort our family took from the thoughtful responsiveness of Shannon, Joanne, and their entire crew. Our deepest gratitude and sincere thanks to all of you that cared for mom!

The Village at Valley Creek is the absolute best memory care residence available. I have had my father living there for over a year and he is very happy there. The staff is caring, kind and genuinely concerned for the residents and their wellbeing. I have observed over and over again the staff taking time with the residents just to make them feel cared for. The facility is extremely clean. The meals are great. There are always activities for the residents and perhaps the best is that it is a happy place. The staff is very pleasant and truly do care about each of the residents. I can’t say enough about what a blessing it has been to have my father living there and the peace of mind it gives me to know he is getting such excellent care. I am so thankful for this facility and for each of the staff. They are the best!!!!
