Very warm and welcoming community! Dinning staff are very accommodating to resident preferences. Nursing staff are super attentive to individual care preferences. Housekeeping staff are thorough and adapt to resident requests. Reception staff are polite and helpful. Be sure to check the Activities Calendar daily for socials, events, movies, & more.

Great place! The staff is wonderful. The rooms are clean and spacious. There are lots of activities and its always decorated so nice for holidays. On site haircuts and dental make it super convenient. The staff really takes time to get to know you and your loved one and become family. Highly recommend

Elmcroft is amazing and trust me weve been through alot of places when we had 2 to look for.(Whoever wrote the carrot review is ridiculous). What matters is the CARE you get and especially during covid you can atleast go to the windows to see your loved one (you dont even need an appointment to go to their window ANYTIME). The nurses and staff do their jobs and they love what they do because it shows. They keep your loved ones entertained, clean and healthy. 1st place weve seen that arent lazy and neglecting. They know how to handle even difficult situations. Ive been on the phone at multiple times late at night because of issues and believe me they were always caring and never made me feel like I was being a pain because we have a loved one who can be a little difficult. They treat her with respect and know how to do the best for her. VERY impressive with their care and kindness!!!

I have been involved with Broadmore for several months and I believe in the work that they are doing for this community and the residents. The Administrator works so hard with the families to make sure they have the support that they need to stay in their homes. The campus is beautiful, the staff are friendly and i enjoy being a part of this York community i can promote Broadmore as a place to take your family member to live and enjoy their lives. There is always an event planned for residents to take part of. Residents have an atmosphere of FAMILY. I would recommend you go ad take a tour to see for yourself how happy the residents are !

My mother is an employee at this facility and I absolutely love it! After my daughter was born, I had brought her to the facility to meet the staff and residents. Everytime, my daughter and I were welcomed whole heartedly. Each time I visited, I saw a very welcoming environment, a clean Establishment, and nurses who cared for the residents right away. Just recently I was there with my little one and the main area was full of happy residents watching people singing. I absolutely love Broadmore Senior Living and would recommend it to anyone.

My mom has been a resident here since October. I am so grateful we found Broadmore. She had a sudden and life changing accident three weeks after move-in and was wheelchair bound after returning to Broadmore in late December. She struggled greatly with medicine management and therapy services upon return. The upper management had been removed and there were on-going issues. The change in management was greatly needed. Amber Kuhn became the Executive Director, and the many needed changes have been addressed. We welcomed her with open arms and she has been very attentive to Mom’s needs, which some days can be many. Providing on-site OT and PT services have completely changed my mothers well being. She is no longer wheelchair bound and is walking independently with her walker. Her meds have been regulated as well and not consistently in pain. They have been patient and responsive to our needs. We couldnt have asked for a better facility for her and couldn’t have begun to do this without them. The kindness and compassion of the staff has helped Mom adjust with her new life. The staff communicates any issues with us right away and answers or returns our calls. I attribute these many positive changes to Amber and her leadership skills. She and other staff put in many hours to provide the best facility possible. A huge shoutout to the nurses and Jamie for working tirelessly when my mom’s rooms were completely flooded by a burst pipe in May. Thank you Amber and staff for all that you do! I highly recommend Broadmore Senior Living!

I have been an employee with this company since 2005 in the wellness team in various roles, but in the last month I have seen many positive changes. I think we are working better as a team, the supervisors have staff and residents as their priority, and instead of working against us, they are working with us. We can go to them with any issues and they have an open door policy. Amber our Executive Director and Sue our Director of Wellness are on the floor all the time supporting the team and the residents. Our Director of Wellness, Sue is a great nurse. I really feel like we are moving in the right direction. No company can say they dont have issues. But we are moving in a great direction. I would recommend my friends and family to work at Broadmore, and I would refer anyone to live here. This is not just a job, these residents and staff are my family.

My father-in-law has been a resident at Broadmore for almost 3 years, and while he has always had good care, Ive seen a tremendous recent improvement in him. Amber & I sat down to discuss what we could do for Carl. I found her to be very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. She came up with a plan that is a definite benefit for him. Ive also seen a greatly needed increase in staff. Looking forward to working with the new director of nursing as well, Ashley strikes me as someone who wont let anyone get in the way of her patients care. Im excited for the changes and improvements that are coming to Broadmore. This all takes time and is not an easy task, but Amber and her staff are definitely up for the challenge.

One of my mothers good friends resides at this community. Comfortable atmosphere when you walk in the door. Staff is very friendly, I was greeted walking in the door! The other folks that live there are great. Full of laughs and smiles. Moms friend loves it here as well. We may be considering moving her here when the time is right.

My Mother has lived at Broadmore for the past 4 1, 2 years in a very homey environment. The staff is always friendly when you visit, but yet give you privacy to visit with your loved one. Recently my Mother changed from self medicating to the home handling her medications and the transition went very smoothly and we saw almost an immediate improvement in her overall being. In the past few months I have seen a definite improvement in the staffing as well as services offered.

The community has a pleasant feeling as soon as you enter the front lobby. Staff are very pleasant and attentive to the needs of the residents. Lovely small homelike environment. Residents are active and enjoy socializing. Simply the best option if you are looking for personal care in the York area.

Broadmore is a great place to live. My mother is currently living there. We looked at other communities before picking Broadmore. We liked that everything was on one floor (no stairs or elevator for Mom to worry about) and that its a small community. Other communities that we looked at locally where larger and Mom felt overwhelmed. Mom really enjoys the food and the activities (especially the trips to shopping and lunch). She has already made friends with some of the other residents. The nursing staff is so friendly and helpful- They treat mom just like family.
