Touching Hearts at Home work closely with Skip and Alison and they are always so helpful and compassionate. We have a client at The Hearth at Greenpoint and our staff are treated with the utmost respect. The facility is accommodating and have wonderful activities for our client and care partner to participate in. Greenpoint periodically brings community resources in for networking events, which we take part in and it's always amazing. We thank you for all you do.

Everyone has been so wonderful to my mom welcoming her to The Hearth Greenpoint. Skip has been outstanding. We went for our first visit and Skip was the first person we met. He was so pleasant and warm to my mom. We knew after our tour and talking to Skip this was the place for my mom. She even hugged Skip when we left. She's not a big hugger usually. My mom wasn't 100% sure with the apt Skip showed her as it was on the second floor. I was going to call Skip a couple of days later to let him and know and before I could he left me a voice message that he had the perfect apt. for her with a view to the garden/courtyard on the 1st floor. When I talked to him he said he knew that wasn't the perfect apt. for her. I took one look at the new one and said this is perfect. She absolutely loves it. Paula who is in charge of the Hearth has also been so warm and welcoming and made everything to easy for my mom and myself. The maintenance personnel have bent over backwards to help my mom - build a bookshelf - hang pictures, etc. Terri the dining room manager has been such a wonderful person to my mom. The food tastes home cooked and is terrific. Laura who works in the kitchen has gone out of her way to make my mom feel comfortable and has even stopped and got her to go to lunch/dinner with the others. My mom was a little shy at first. My mom's apartment is perfect for her; cozy and perfect. She loves it. She is flourishing now. She didn't want to be in her home alone any longer. She is 86 years old. She wasn't thriving. She wasn't getting dressed or eating much and had lost 10 lbs. She's now dressing every day and looks forward to going to lunch and dinner and meeting with her new friends. I couldn't be happier with the Hearth at Greenpoint. My mom is a new person because of this place.

Everyone has been so warm and welcoming upon my mom’s recent move to The Hearth at Greenpoint. Skip, Shania and maintenance personnel have bent over backwards to help my mom iron out all her concerns. Terri the dining room manager has been such a wonderful and loving team member. The food tastes home cooked and is terrific. My mom’s apartment is well appointed, cozy and perfect for her and her pet cat

My father has been there for a few months now and he loves it. It also gives my family and I great peace knowing that he is receiving such great care, especially during a pandemic. The staff goes to great lengths to make sure all the residents are safe and well looked after. The food is amazing, the care they receive is amazing. and my father, while apprehensive at first now says this was the best thing ever.

I cant say enough about The Hearth at Greenpoint. Although my Grandma was not there long, the care and support she received was phenomenal. Everyone is so compassionate. They seem to truly have the best interest of the residents at heart.

Staff has been wonderful to my Dad. Hes not always the easiest person to deal with although he can be charming. Staff from nurses to aids to dining servers to maintenance to community relations to cleaning have ALL been wonderful, compassionate and professional. THANK YOU especially during this most difficult time of lockdown when you all on the inside have to bear the burden of being caregivers and family because we cant personally be there for our loved ones in order to keep everyone safe. Thank you thank you thank you!!

We had to find an assisted living place pretty quickly after my mother suffered a stroke. My sister and I toured a number of places in. The Syracuse area and Greenpoint was the first place we felt comfortable. During the initial visit Nate asked tons of questions about my mother. The rooms are lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful and best of all mom feels good about being there.

This review is for The Hearth at Greenpoint , Liverpool. I have such great peace of mind since my father moved there in December 2019. The staff has been wonderful, caring, professional and thorough in helping my father adjust to assisted living. From the top to the bottom and in the middle, all workers here are friendly and welcoming to my Dad and to all his visitors. They are so patient with him in his moments of confusion. They just take it all stride and try to make him feel like everything is okay. He is treated with dignity by the aids, the nurses, the front desk and even the chef, the wait staff and the maintenance staff. No one asked me to write this. I really love this place so much for my Dad and Im thankful he recognizes how nice everybody is to him. He thanks them daily. Thank you Greenpoint.

I worked for The Hearth at Greenpoint for 7 years. Greenpoint is a wonderful place to work and live. The staff is the best at taking care of their residents with continuous training and education. Its very difficult when a family member gets old and requires additional care and assistance, but I know from my many positive experience with staff from all departments, residents and families, that everyone at Greenpoint does their best to make each and every resident feel at home. I worked as an independent contractor for almost 18 years in the Hair Salon loved my job so much,I have since retired and miss the job and residents and the staff that were like family to me everyday. Ive read many of the comments posted as with anything our lives if you have problems with your choices talking to the appropriate people and do so calmy and kindky things usually work out

I have worked for Greenpoint since the end of July 2017. I must say this place is definitely a terrific place to work. They treat ALL employees with respect and they truly show their appreciation for not only the employees but residents as well. Everybody is family no matter if your a staff member or resident.
