My mother reluctantly moved from her home in another state to be near her family. Parkrose staff have been more than welcoming, the food is fantastic, there are plenty of activities to attend and my mother feels safe. She doesnt miss a day to share a positive experience shes had at Parkrose.

My father moved in a month before the pandemic began. It was great to know that through it all he was being kept safe. He was so alone in his house. Now he has people to socialize with, great prepared meals, and lots of activities. Including movie nights which is his favorite activity. Thanks for all that you do!

I wasnt sure wed get my mom (and her cat) to move out of her home of 62 years, but once she saw Parkrose she became very excited to move into such a bright, cheerful senior living community where she was so warmly welcomed by the staff and other residents. The many activities and great meals, plus extras like transportation to shopping, medical appointments, and outside activities are great. Frequent communications to families and family inclusion in activities are also greatly appreciated. While the pandemic challenged everyone, it was comforting to know that mom was in a place with strong practices for the health and safety of residents and staff. I highly recommend Parkrose.

Parkrose is an outstanding place to have a loved one live, especially if he or she need support! The meals are 5 star quality meals!. The care and kindness from the girls who provide extra assistance, is outstanding. Never have I seen such love and respect!I Parkrose treats their residents like family. They have transportation for the residents and are so helpful to the residents who need extra help. The administration always helps out and keeps the family updated...they have been vigilant during the pandemic. My mom loves the activities and everything Parkrose has to offer.

Parkrose has been a wonderful place for my Mom to live. This last year has been hard on everyone but all of the staff went above and beyond to keep the residents safe and as engaged as possible. They really pay attention to all of the residents and check in on them whenever theres a change in the behavior of a resident. We have been very happy with Parkrose.

We moved our father here about 6 months ago. He couldnt handle stairs or climbing into a bathtub and he wasnt eating well. Since moving here, he has been thriving. The meals are amazing, the staff friendly and attentive. Unlike other senior facilities, we were fortunate not to see any covid cases till after the holidays. However, everything was handled swiftly and professionally and we were kept fully informed. We felt our father was safe at all times. Now they are pretty much back to normal. The residents have full freedom to come and go, and we can visit whenever we want. This was by far the best decision we could have made for him.

Parkrose is a fantastic place for for independent living. My Mom moved there in Aug 2020, and our family could not be happier with her decision. The staff is caring and accommodating. They have a lot of activities for their resident., and my mom loves the food! Thank you to all the staff for all you do!!!

My mother has been living at Parkrose for almost 10 years now! It was 100% the move she needed after losing her husband - the socialization that Parkrose provides through activities, meals, even Friday happy hours - was the engagement she needed to become herself again! What a beautiful thing for her to have made such amazing new friends (both through staff and residents) in her 70s! Even through the pandemic, the staff at Parkrose has done an amazing job keeping everyone safe and engaged. Thank you for everything you do to make Parkrose a true home for our loved ones!

My father is surrounded by wonderful people here at Parkrose! Everyone has a smile on their face and I know hes in the best hands with all his new friends there (staff & residents). The staff is always willing to help in any way needed and the food will spoil you! The food is better than any restaurant-Yum. This is what retirement living should be like and so clean & big hallways.:)

Although we were not able to visit, we were confident that Dad was safe, and that the the staff were diligent in making sure every possible precaution was in place. Four years ago i was so fortunate to find Parkrose for my aunt. I live out of state and needed to find a new home for my aunt after a hospital stay I knew she could no longer be on her own. Parkrose aided in every level in her transition. She is a very social person and there isnt an activity she doesnt participate in and loves to dress up and have her picture taken. The meals are delicious and the service is wonderful. She is living a safe and healthy life. I would like to extend my thanks to the management and staff of Parkrose

A place that really makes the residents feel at home. The staff goes above and beyond expectations to assist with just about anything at all! Convenient location. There is a nice pond and outdoor walking paths, so residents can enjoy the outdoors. The food in the dining hall is also very good, with plenty of menu variety. Transportation to medical appointments also available, and very convenient. My Uncle enjoys the daily movies, and the weekly outings to a nearby shopping mall. A library with a variety of books is also available, as is an exercise room. Highly recommended!

My Mother has been a resident at Park Rose for almost 3 years and she says she could not be happier. The staff is wonderful. She has made many friends and enjoys the many activities. She feels safe and comfortable. Her apartment is decorated just how she wanted. The common areas are very nice and well-maintained. She loves the food (and she has gained a few pounds). We are so pleased with Park Rose, and very grateful with how they have handled the COVID-19 pandemic. They worked tirelessly to keep both staff and residents as safe as possible. I highly recommend Park Rose.

What an amazing and welcoming facility and staff. The transition from home to adult living was not an easy process for Mom and Dad and Parkrose made the transition so easy. Very supportive staff that think of everything - especially important for families that are going through the transition of parents for the first time. My parents moved into Parkrose almost five years ago. Karen OHara, the Director of the Parkrose, is a great leader and a strong communicator. She is always ready to listen if anyone has any concerns or questions. We have found the staff to be very compassionate and accommodating to their needs. My parents used to live near the Culinary Institute and they are used to good food. John, head chef in the dining room, prepares a wide variety of healthy meals and he has been very good to my parents and he is always open to suggestions. Irini, head of the serving staff, is also outstanding. She has an excellent memory and her attention to detail for each residents little preferences is stellar; she often has things ready and waiting for them. Amanda, head of the business office, is like carbonation. She is very helpful for almost any issue and she is always cheerful and ready to help everyone. My mother enjoys the entertainment provided, the holiday parties, the birthday celebrations, the occasional happy hour, the sewing ladies, the book club, the visiting library helpers, her cleaning lady, Ruth, and that she can make her own hair appointments. My father appreciated the help that he received with his many trips to the doctors office and the staff that might step in if they saw him struggle with carrying a package. Overall, the staff treats the residents like family members and they greet all of them by name and they even seem to know the names of many of the residents family members. The grounds are kept clean and decorated. If you want to experience a warm and friendly environment, Parkrose is the place for your loved ones.

We work closely with Parkrose in the senior care industry and have had nothing but incredible experiences with the entire staff. Phyllis is such a joy to have at the front desk, always greeting everyone with a smile! Amanda is one of the best in the business, willing and eager to help when it comes to finding the right place for anyone looking for senior living. Parkrose is a wonderful community staffed by wonderful, caring people. My parents moved into their wonderful 1-bedroom apartment there last July. From Day One, theyve been very happy with their decision. They have the privacy and independence of their own place, but they have also have made lots of friends and enjoy lots of great activities and good meals in the dining room. Cant say enough good about the staff - every single person who works there has been so nice and so helpful to my parents. I highly recommend Parkrose to anyone seeking a caring, compassionate environment that allows you privacy but yet is always there when you need a helping hand.

I am the director of a nearby Childtime. We walk the children to Parkrose at least once a month and do whatever wonderful activity Caroline the staff and residents have cooked up for us. The grounds and interior are immaculate, they let us in anyway, and we always have a great time

The building is clean and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the upper management is not so much. Although this is an assisted living facility in every sense of the word, they refuse to classify themselves as such. They do not provide any breakout of fees that would allow for any kind of tax deduction. Also, they have raised rates over $200 per month each of the last 2 years.
