Definitely one of the better locations. I just spent over a month in both rehab and assisted living. The food is very good. PT and OT are excellent. Overall, the staff is very caring. I especially want to mention Connifer in Rehab and the night shift team who call themselves Laurel and Hardy (they work together seamlessly and with humor) - they really supported me through a difficult time. In Assisted Living, Antonia and Erjona stood out as exceptional in care and support. Nurses Sarah and Khatrea took the time to get to know me, explain things and support me. Dear Carson in housekeeping brought sunshine and joy into the room with him. However, if you want to feel like dirt under somebody's shoe, talk to the Social Worker Kathy. Rude, demeaning, no support or care whatsoever. You're on your own with her, or at least I was. I strongly recommend that you speak with your insurance carrier directly about coverages. I just wish my room had been vacuumed a few times while there.

After breaking my R. hip & having a partial hip replacement I was transferred to Shelby Crossings for rehab for a month. I can't say enough good about this facility, I recieved excellent care, the aides were wonderful , always willing to help in any way they could, the food was also great but the best thing was Physical therapy, they are truly the greatest. They really are responsible for the great strides I made in regaining my ability to walk pretty darn good before I was discharged. The facilities are also beautiful, clean & we'll kept. My sincere appreciation for all who worked with me and was instrumental in my recovery.

Amended review: Nelson from Shelby Crossing took the time to call me - he was very informative (I wish we had had this information/knowledge earlier) & sadly it would appear it boils down to red tape tying the hands of these facilities & employees. I do think the PT program has been great for my dad & there have been some really good nurses, and aids throughout this process. Everyone is trying to do their best in a difficult situation. ——————————————— Original review: Extremely disappointed in this facility. I would Never, Ever send a loved one here again. The lack of consistency is unreal. The lack of care is alarming not to mention my father also picked up Covid and fell on their watch. This place is so discombobulated - from the first day my dad got there no one seems to know what is going on. They did not even have his medication - we had to go home & get it since he NEEDS it! Received many wrong answers to questions from people in multiple departments. Very disappointed - Shelby Crossing had come with glowing reviews - sadly what is already a difficult situation was made worse by their incompetence.

My grandmother was transferred here from another local care facility and it was a huge blessing. The admissions team members were incredibly helpful and caring to help facilitate her transfer. The care there was excellent. She was well attended to and all of her needs met when family members could not be present. She enjoyed the food and they had a wide range of social activities. The quality of many nursing home facilities is not adequate and you cannot leave your loved one unsupported. Shelby Crossings is not one of those. Hopefully we won't need their services again but if we do, we know where to go!

There's so many options for rehabilitation facilities out there - but Shelby crossing has amazing staff, it's very clean and overall great service. Much better food options than many places - you won't regret letting your family members recover here.

My stay at Shelby Crossing was incredible. I heard that Shelby Crossing had a rating of 5 but I think it should be 100 plus. Everyone who took care of me was professional in time and in caring. Nathan was incredible feeding us healthy meals. I was truly blessed to be a part of a wonderful experience to be on the road to recovery. Thanks for caring so much.

I can't say enough positive things about my recent stay at Shelby Crossing Health Campus following spine surgery. The transfer from the hospital was 48 hours post op. Every single staff member was very kind, caring and supportive! There are so many areas of expertise that I know that I would miss someone if I tried to list them. They took time to explain the plan for my care and therapy. The nurses, aides and therapists were careful to help me adjust to my restrictions and pain management. I am a picky eater, and the culinary staff was considerate. The meals offerings were all tasty and good portions. I was a resident for 15 days and I am thankful for every day there. I left feeling much stronger and confident. I appreciate every staff member stopping by to make sure things were going well or to say hi and to tell me about activities that were enjoyable. It was the best decision ever to try for a spot at Shelby Crossing for my rehab and therapy. I was referred here by a good friend and I will do the same for others.

My father spent the last year of his life with the supremely caring folks at Shelby Crossing Assisted living until he peacefully passed at 102. The respect and caring shown to him throughout his stay was outstanding. When he passed every employee working came in to say goodbye and offer condolences - even those off came in. As he left for the final time, they formed an honor guard. This is how our loved ones should be treated. They were like family. I can't say enough about how wonderful this facility is.

My mother in law was here for rehab after being hospitalized for two weeks with the flu. She lost the ability and strength to walk. While she was only there for one week the staff was outstanding with her. PT was in there twice a day at times and had her up and walking with two days. She loves it there. Someone was there around the clock to check on her. The staff from start to finish were very professional. I would highly recommend this place for your loved ones recovery or even long term care.

My grandmother was admitted to Shelby Crossing recently, and stayed there while recovering from a surgery in the hospital. The staff was very professional, polite, and cared for all of her needs. Everything from the nurses, to therapy, to the dining was all top notch. When we took her home, she had a laundry list of people she was going to miss! Great job Shelby Crossing, I am blown away.

Wasn't happy with services. Staff help wouldn't speak English which I find rude and unprofessional. I had to call director because my mother sat for four days, the answer I received was we try to get patients accumulated. She wasn't there to get accumulated she's there for PT. Will not send my mother back to that facility.

My Dad was here for inpatient physical therapy after a hip replacement. I was blown away with how nice this place was. My Dad was treated with the best care in the world. The facilities are beautiful, staff was so friendly and helpful, food was excellent, and care was second to none. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Amazing!!!

My family member was admitted recently. So far, she has not received dinner for the last 2 nights. I had to go to the grocery store to buy something I could warm up in the microwave last night for her. Sick staff taking care or patients, refusing to leave despite the pleas from her coworkers and they eventually had to call 911. No night supervision or anyone of authority available for urgent situations like these. My family member has only been there for 2 nights, and the whole family is worried. My family member's immediate staff is very nice and has tried to keep her comfortable while, I guess, the office figures out she's there enough to include her in meals. Also OT told my family member that she has NEVER taken care of a patient with her condition before and she will have to "research" how to help her. Our family's stress is sky high. I don't really even know if anyone there is capable to help her.

My dad came here for rehab after a stint at the hospital with COVID. He has many other psychiatric issues that was going to be challenging for this facility to manage. He is combative, dangerous to himself and to the nursing staff. I have never written a review for a rehab or nursing home, and I am familiar with some since both my parents have gone to various locations. This place is by far the BEST place for care. The staff treated my dad better than I would have. They were always apologetic when things didn't go well (which was not their fault). I was amazed by their sincere concern for his well being under (let me say) very difficult conditions that he presented them with. In the end, my dad had to be transferred to a psychiatric hospital for further care. I will never forget the calls that I received from the staff that showed a sincere compassion and desire to help someone that needed help; almost in disregard of their well being. My hats off to you! You guys are by far the best staff I have encountered so far. Thank you for all you have done! May God bless you all! Adrian

Had to put my father at Shelby Crossing after being released from hospital for rehab. Then moved him to assisted living wing to continue his PT and OT. The staff, care takers and therapist are the best in the business. Never once did I feel my father wasn't being attended to or taken care of. If your loved one needs any of the services that Shelby Crossing offers, there is no need to look at any other facilities. Shelby Crossing is second to none!
