I am so thankful for Heritage Woods! Most importantly, I feel mom is being cared for well there. Not only is it visually clean every time I visit but it smells clean too. There are a variety of balanced food choices. The staff are caring, kind & do a good job providing individualized care. They frequently have fun & season appropriate activities which is so good for my mom & encourages socialization. I can't thank Heritage Woods enough for allowing my family to use the Private Dining Room & overflow into the Conference Room for a Celebration of Life for my brother that passed away in May. Not having to get mom ready at a certain time on the dot, transport her to another location where she would have to stay until someone could take her back to HW would've caused her more chaos, confusion & distress. Instead she was able to walk down to the event in her own timing & then leave & go back to her apartment when she was tired & overwhelmed. I also love that I can schedule mom a hair appointment with the in-house salon & they will come get her for her appointment if needed. Thank you Heritage Woods!!

I love this facility! The staff were phenomenal! I spoke with Latoya Johnson and she was very informative, caring, and made sure all my questions were answered. I wouldn’t send my family members anywhere else. On top of that, the facility is very clean with an awesome staff. It feels like home. I love Heritage Woods!

Does not serve everyone equally and I am still trying to figure out what assistance is included. Seems like it’s sporadic and biased. They lose good workers and keep those that spend more effort finding ways to avoid working Yes there are several very nice compassionate people here but my experience has been that when in real need or concern you’re on your own. They don’t cater to things that set off allergies or stress panic more likely they add to it You probably can count on the facility to get you to a hair appointment or accompany you to the store but if you get in a jam and need accompany to a doctor visit you are out of luck I will say that the staff is quick with assistance in emergencies that they witness

He has shared with me how happy he is with his living arrangements at Heritage Wood. The cleanliness and upkeep of the facility are truly impressive, and the staff members are not only friendly but also attentive to the needs of the residents. I have personally witnessed the variety of activities offered to the residents, from bingo nights to special celebrations, and it is clear that you prioritize their well-being and happiness. Moreover, I have been consistently impressed by the open communication between the staff and the families of residents. Whenever a concern is raised, it is addressed promptly and effectively, which has given me peace of mind knowing that my father is in good hands. My grandmother has been a resident at Heritage for over two years! We enjoy joining her for all the activities especially family bingo nights and the Easter Egg Hunt! Grandma has been so happy since moving here! Thank you to the staff, other residents and the therapy department! Can't wait for the next event!

My 98-year-old mom has been at Heritage Woods for more than four years and says she can't imagine being anywhere better. She loves her apartment, all of the staff and the fun activities, plus she has made many new friends as well. I worry much less knowing staff is always there to help her. Definitely recommended!

I can’t say enough about what a great facility Heritage Woods is! The staff worked hard with me helping me to get my mother into an apartment there after her stroke. The physical, OT, and speech therapy there are amazing. They will text with me and work on individualized goals for mom. My mother has dementia so it is important to have good communication with her caregivers to stay on top of anything that anyone might notice is an issue. My mother LOVES her apartment. She says the staff are always so kind and helpfulshe calls them her angels. The meals are very good and there is a resident council so the residents can vote for or against items they like and make suggestions for the future. The views are lovely and the facility is in great shape and well kept. All the residents I’ve met are kind and happy to engage. Mom has made some friends and is getting out more. There are frequent outings and activities if she wants to participate. I highly recommend Heritage to anyone who is looking for a place where they can get more assistance but still maintain privacy and independence. I cannot think of anything bad I have to say and neither has my mother (except for some meal choices she didn’t like ) after over 6 months residency.

We can’t say enough about the care our mom receives at Heritage Woods. The staff is wonderful. They are so caring and go above and beyond to meet our needs. There are so many activities provided. The food is great too. I would highly recommend giving them a try. They won’t disappoint.

My mom did not want to give up her independance to move from her apartment to a "nursing home". But when I explained that Heritage Woods was an assisted facility and she would still have her own apartment and be able to receive the daily assistance that she needed, she agreed to a visit. I preferenced our visit by telling her she would spend the rest of her life in a very nice "hotel". When we pulled up to the building, she exclaimed that it did indeed look like a hotel. After touring the facility, she couldn't wait to move there. She tells everyone how happy she is and that she is glad that she now lives at Heritage Woods.

Heritage Woods has gone above and beyond to help my mother get moved in and settled. She was in a car accident that left her needing assistance and it has been a blessing to have her living somewhere so beautiful with activities and transportation to her appointments. It has really taken a load off my back.

My mom lives there. I visit her often. She loves this place . I like it because everyone is so nice and attentive. Staff and residents . Everyone is nice. I like that they have activities and they do her laundry. They have a chef in the kitchen. Good food mom is happy here that means a lot . Awesome staff .

My mother has been a resident since April 2021. We have found the staff to be caring and willing to help. However, they are presently short staffed and are continuing to accept new move ins. This has caused increased wait times for calls when the residents use their pendant call buttons. We have had some hiccups along the way, and the administration was responsive in trying to resolve them. There is potential for Heritage Woods to be an above average facility. We will see if they do.

This place is outstanding from the moment you walk in. All the staff go above and beyond for anything you need for your family. You definitely can tell the staff feels like one big family.
