We moved my husband's sister into Celebration Villa memory care at the end of February. She has Alzheimer's and had thrived for four of the six years she had been living in an independent living facility. Over the last couple of years she had become more forgetful, was frequently losing things, and was failing in general. Though we tried to help her with her laundry, keep her apartment clean, and get her to change into her nicer and clean clothing, she never saw the need. Any suggestions we made, caused her to become agitated and tearful. No matter how diplomatically we thought we were approaching the issues, she would react with obstinance, anger, or both. When she began roaming the facility at night and was found outside in the early morning hours, we knew that it was time to move her into a secure environment. The move to Celebration was quite traumatic initially. But within a few weeks, she had settled in nicely. She has made new friends. We rest better knowing that she is safe. She still doesn't like to shower or change into clean clothing, but the staff at Celebration handles her beautifully. They are knowledgeable, patient, and loving. We highly recommend Celebration memory care and wish we could have moved her there sooner.

I moved my dad here in July he was barely walking when I moved him here and within a month he's not only walking he's found a whole new meaning of living life! He's become independent again and has made friends he now enjoys going to activities and is excelling in therapy! Celebration Villa of Newburgh saved my dad's life! I will forever be grateful! The in-house therapy he gets from Legacy has been a real game changer! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for their parent/s or self. The staff is very caring and goes out of their way to accommodate! The activities have been a great bonus as has the tasty meals! It's not just all of the things I've mentioned above but it's affordable too! Don't wait give them a shout if you're on the fence you won't be for long!

The facility felt like home for my dad. It was aesthetically beautiful, orderly and efficient. The services are exactly what'll my dad needs and the local partnerships fill in the gaps. All of our questions were answered and our follow questions were answered right away. My dad liked it so well he cancelled his tours with other facilities in the area. The care and concern of the marketing agent and the staff we met was genuine. So happy to find a great home for my dad!!!

The facility is lovely. Our mother was only there a short four months and enjoyed her apartment and Bingo. We overlooked many "included" benefits as staff shortages are a real issue. After she passed, they billed us an additional month after verbal confirmation of canceled auto draft was made when we returned the keys. It took a month to only receive partial payment return with no information as to why the additional chargers were incurred. We are still trying to straighten out how this can happen so it doesn't happen to anyone else's family.

Over the course of the difficult years of 2020-21, the Director and staff have worked hard to take care of my Mom. The Director has gone above and beyond to make sure the residents are safe and has run a tight ship. I know that my Mom is in good hands. My only complaint is that the food quality isnt what it was when she first arrived. It is an area that really needs improvement.

All the staff at atria are wonderful. We unexpectedly needed assisted living for my mother. Atria was exceptionally helpful with getting her placed and settled quickly.The care,dining, and activities are great. We can tell that Atria cares about their residents and want it to feel like home and family. I love this home for my father. He is happy here and everyone goes out of their way to make the residents feel like this is their home. It is hard for an elderly family member to have to leave their home, but at Atria, they try their best to make all the residents at home as much as possible. They keep them busy with different things to do daily, and they help my father so much by having exersise right here in the building daily. It has kept his legs from giving out competely. If I had to leave my home and go into an assisted living, this is the place I would want to be. Thank you for taking such good care of my father. It truly is a huge weight off our family. My father has a favorite housekeeper her name is Betty Carneal and she makes him laugh everytime she is around. She lives on a farm and has a pet chicken named Prissy, she tells my dad about the antics the little chicken gets into, and she rides the lawn mower with her husband. My dad loves the stories she tells,and she is a great uplift for my dad's day. I want to thank her for being one of the staff that goes out of their way to make sure the residents are talked to and happy.

I believe Atria Newburgh is an excellent community. The food is delicious and imaginative. The staff are thoughtful, kind and knowledgeable, and skilled. I appreciate being able to access various TV channels. I really appreciate Jim the Director of maintenance, he is extremely helpful when needed. The Directors are good too.

My experience is from a daughter of a resident. We looked at several places for my father before deciding on Atria. I feel that we are very lucky that this is the place my dad resides. I am unable to pick just one person because there are MANY outstanding, hard-working and pleasant employees at ATRIA NEWBURGH. From the moment I called and talk with Sharon and everyone in between Carla, Brenda, Lindy, Sue, Kathy, Sabrina, Ally, Mary, Lynn, Ron, Jim, Doug and a very long long list of names I do not know or have forgotten, they all have been very special in their own way. Truly helpful in the most kind and understanding way that I can not just find one person to complement! When our dad arrived at Atria he was coming from the home he shares with my mother for the past 28 years.He loves Atria but one day he was feeling particularly low and I asked him what was wrong. He said he missed the house but what gave him real heartache was not being able to have his own garden. This is a true passion for him. After several calls to wonderful people at Atria they allowed him to have his garden. Now this was not a small garden but one with a lot of tomato plants etc. He needed a lot of help to get the ground tilled, fertilized and the garden planted. Enter Ron. Ron is a very giving, loving, kind man .... but he is also a very very busy employee at Atria. With everything Ron had going on he volunteered to come in early in the morning, on his own time and work on the tilling, planting, fencing and care of the garden. My dad was back in his garden and loving it. Without Ron there would be no garden. Ron does so many extra things for the residents at Atria you cannot count them. Thank you Ron for all that you do and continue to do. My dad thanks you and our family thanks you. You are the best!!!!
