Recently being 54 I had to finally realize I needed to live in a Senior Facility due to physical disabilities. I finally decided it was time so I found Independence Village in Evansville which ended up making the best decision to move here. All the Staff are very friendly and supportive to me and my Chihuahua. I love it that they treat my dog like family too. A couple weeks ago I realized that the facility checks on us residents to make sure we are doing ok. They called me one afternoon to find out where I was because I didn’t showed up for breakfast and told them I am just at sisters house. They had everyone looking for me. Another thing I like about this place is that I had to be taken to the ER leaving my dog in my apartment so I asked Staff to check on my dog and take her out so Marissa, Forest and Bill came to my apartment and was very careful with her putting her on a leash and taking her for a walk. I really appreciate that because it makes me feel the staff is willing to go the extra mile to help us when needed

I’ve personally not had a loved one live here but I’ve visited the property a few times and each time they have made improvements to ensure the residents have a beautiful safe place to live. You can tell the staff care and the ownership is committed to investing in the property.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Independence Village! Journey, Kelli, and Jamie are delightful and such a wonderful resource for the residents and families. Mom has lived here for four years and absolutely loves her apartment, location, and amenities. Three (chef curated) meals a day are included in the rent which is a great selling point-- there is no need to cook, buy groceries, etc.! The activities help to keep her busy and entertained, and the fact that I can arrange additional care, if needed, is also a huge benefit. I am so thankful she has a safe place to live during the aging process with folks who help me look out for her-- it enables her to maintain her independence as long as possible.

Matt was very friendly and informed. I had previously toured the facility and was with my mother for this visit. Matt was able to keep the conversation on point during some stressful interactions. Independence Village is a lovely facility and they express true concern for their residents.

My mom lived at Willow Park for seven years and it met her basic needs. Room was sizable and had outdoor patio. Rates were reasonable. Willow is in a very quiet location. The facility had good onsite (add-on) physical therapy services and was pet friendly. But the place was getting tired and neglected overall. Lots of turnover in the staff and of ownership. Food was okay but choices were very limited and service slow. Transportation bus had reduced hours & outings to special events became infrequent. Housekeeping provided for rooms was sub-par. The building has only one elevator so going between floors is slow... get a room on the main floor. No staff were onsite after 7:30pm...yes it is independent vs assisted living, but no onsite staff was worrisome given the number and condition of the residents. Outside walkways on east side are not ADA compliant. Maybe latest owner improving the place? But FYI pics in their "Life Style" section of the web are mostly stock photos and are NOT from Willow Park.

My sister-in-law was a resident for six years. Willow Park quickly became her haven - the place she was most comfortable being and the place she considered home. She made many friends there, including staff members and residents. She enjoyed participating in the many scheduled activities and attended Sunday services in the chapel. As her memory and her ability to care for herself declined, we relied on the assistance of Grace Care to get her to take her medication, to get to meals on time, etc. The Willow Park staff was always patient and kind. They were not only supportive of Leslie, but also of her son, her brother, and myself as we worked to navigate the turbulent waters of Leslie’s cognitive decline. I have nothing but good to say about Willow Park, and I will be forever grateful for their kindness and support.

I recently received an invitation from Shari Short @ Willow Park to tour the community, and that has led to my Dad moving in and becoming part of the Willow Park family. I can't speak highly enough of the team!!! We have had nothing but a great experience, from the tour & lease signing (Shari and Kris), to move in day (Michelle), and daily engagement with Kaia. Literally everyone has been wonderful for making his transition as seamless as possible. Many thanks to all that have answered our many questions, and always with a smile.

Was in visiting with Kenny who is a resident there we ate lunch. The food was great. I thought it was really nice how the chef came out and introduced the meal to the residents. All the staff was super friendly!

I recently had the privilege of touring the community with Valeri. During the walk through it was nothing but smiles, laughs, jokes, and stories from residents and Valeri. On how much they love her and how much the residents enjoy living at Willow Park. It was a great experience!

I cant imagine my mother in law living in a nicer place and for that matter neither can she. She loves the other residents, she enjoys the food, and the staff goes out of their way to make her, as well as the other residents, safe and comfortable. Willow Park is quite simply a wonderful place to be.

My grandma moved to Holiday Willow Park about a year ago, and she absolutely loves it. The other residents are so friendly, and they made the transition as easy a possible. The staff are absolutely fantastic; my grandma calls everyday telling me how much she loves the staff with the most frequently mentioned being Journey, Michelle, Jeremiah, and Tim.

This is an ideal residence for transitioning Seniors. The building and grounds are well kept. The staff are friendly and know everyone's names. Its more like a resort than assisted living for Senior Citizens.
