The Plaza is a magnificent destination for seniors who demand only the highest standards in senior living - an award winning kitchen with sumptuous options, buildings safely and securely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of mainstream life, and a community of residents with open arms and hearts to new residents, while still respecting resident's personal needs and privacy. Whether you seek a cozy and private but fully independent style of living, or a comfortable, serene apartment where you receive a bit of help around the edges, the Plaza offers both, and in conjunction with the adjacent Life Care Center. Residents can easily enjoy life here, in its many stages, without needing to leave good friends behind or transfer to a foreign new environment. I cannot more highly recommend the Westside Garden Plaza, where seniors call "home".

My brother and I would like to express out heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Westside for the excellent care our Mom receives. We'd like to specifically mention Jackie, Moms social worker, who has gone above and beyond to be a wonderful advocate for our Mom. She is professional, kind and always there to help us as a family to navigate through the challenges we've faced with the decision of putting her in a nursing facility. My mother in law lives here. It’s beautiful and the staff is great. The staff goes above and beyond to help. She lived in her own apartment in the beginning and now lives in assisted area. Excellent place ! It’s been tough to see my Saint of a Mom go down hill. We couldn’t have picked a better place to put her at. The whole place is hard working and friendly staff. Thank God for Westside during this difficult period . The directors (Ashley) and all staff work so hard to accommodate everyone. They’ve been helping us with each move we’ve made.

My mother lives in Independent Living at this Westside Garden Plaza and it is wonderful. She loves her apartment and the staff. They go out of their way to be sure she has everything she needs. It's been hard for the residents during Covid, but the people there are very accommodating. I have never been worried about my Mom's well-being while she's been here. The director there, Marque McKinnor, is amazing. He takes phone calls and answers emails very promptly and keeps an eye out for my Mom during these difficult times. I would highly recommend this place. Please don’t get this facility confused with Westside Village Nursing Center. They are under the same roof, but not the same facility or affiliated. I wouldn’t take a dog to the nursing facility. It’s awful. The independent living side is amazing.

My mother has lived at Westside Garden Plaza for almost 3 years. The facility itself is beautiful with lots of nice areas where family can gather inside and out. I appreciate how the staff did everything they could to protect their residents during the Covid pandemic even though it was very tough not being able to spend time with our loved ones. I consider so many off the residents family as I’ve been able to get to know them thru the many group activities offered by WSGP. Where I believe this facility really stands out is the many staff members that truly care for my mother and take care of her the same way that I do when I’m there. From admin, activities, environmental services, dining hall, nursing staff, etc. There are so many I would love to name because they go above and beyond, are very responsive to my mothers needs and show her loving care but I’m worried I may forget a couple names. I am really impressed by my ability to communicate with so many staff thru calling, texting and messaging. They’re very responsive. Don’t get me wrong, there have been a few issues in the past few years but I believe concerns are addressed and conflicts have been minimized because of concern and communication from those amazing staff members I spoke of previously. Above all I feel my mother is safe and her needs are met. Thanks to those staff members that I try to always thank and appreciate during my visits and if I haven’t personally thanked you I want you to know I appreciate you! Sonya Parrott I must update this review in good conscious after events early December. My mother’s health situation changed and the upper management failed to address her changes which ultimately led to her fall, hospitalization and subsequent hospice care. I feel the facility knew of my mothers changes and failed to put measures in place to protect her and keep her safe all while assuring me that they had the ability to care for her needs.

Very nice "resort" as Mom calls it. Mgt and staff have been courteous and do their best to accommodate all. Communication during the pandemic has been strong as well. When we could, we would have brunch every Sunday there to say, "hi" to the regulars and have a good meal. Very worthwhile for my 12 year old to interact with the gang as well. All in all, a great to place to live and visit!

After 3 years residing at WGP I've come to appreciate how special this family oriented community has meant to my continued good health, welfare and living amenities. My parents reside at the Bridge, assisted living, for just over a year. The public areas are beautifully decorated and inviting. The rooms are a bit bland and lack character. The staff are incredible and communicate any changes. It's a peace of mind knowing they are well cared for.

My mother-in-law lived in WSG for 8 years and now my mother has lived there for 3 years. Driving up to the place shows off its beautiful setting and landscaping. It is always very well cared for. And upon entering any of the sections, it has always been clean and classy. In addition, the employees have always treated both mothers and us with care and concern. During the past 19 months they have worked hard to respect resident's autonomy yet made efforts to keep everyone safe. They have followed public health guidelines but allowed flexibility. My mother has friends in the community, has joined committees where she has a voice in change, enjoys card groups and day trips, and appreciates the beautiful gardens outside her windows. My compliments to the admin and staff of this well run retirement living community.

22 Covid positive residents (at best approximation, under 85 residents currently occupy building); 2 confirmed Covid deaths (4 suspected); [Information as of December 16, 2020, Westside Garden Plaza Indianapolis Indiana Independent Living (IL) building.] [Information doesn't include remaining part of campus including Bridge at Westside Garden (Assisted Living) or Westside Village Nursing Center buildings.] Independent and Assisted Living buildings managed by Century Park PA of Tennessee and nursing home by Life Care Centers of America, of which both companies are related. Thankfully, Century Park PA vows a complete veil of transparency! Very sad situation and am uncertain if Indiana Department of Health directly knows of circumstance other than simple weekly update. Independent Living does not report to Indiana Department of Health or to their dashboard. Troubling!

We have been very pleased with The Bridge at Westside Gardens. The staff know my mother and engage her in activities which she really needs. The facility is clean and bright. I know my mom is safe.

Since we moved our loved one in October the care and attitudes from the staff have greatly improved. The new director is involved in the daily care and is seen throughout the halls. The staff are more helpful and greet you when they see you. MUCH improved! MUCH more pleasant!

My parents moved into Westside Garden Plaza a little over a month ago and I can't begin to tell you what a difference this has made in their lives. My parents continually report (and I ask often!!) that the staff is remarkably kind and that their call light is answered in a reasonable amount of time. They are rarely in their apartment when I come to visit as they are taking advantage of and enjoying the MANY activities that are available. They are meeting new people every day and are happier and more fulfilled than they have been for some time. The team at Westside has been wonderfully responsive to all of our needs and helped us problem solve every step of the move as well as manage ongoing care. I looked long and hard before deciding on Westside Garden Plaza and have not regretted my choice for one moment. It is a beautiful place with compassionate and dedicated caregivers.

I can't say much about the housing treatment but I can say this place is absolutely beautiful. You can't help but feel at peace when you're there because both the interior and exterior have such a relaxing air. I went there for a meeting and everyone was so nice and warming.
