My mother in law moved into Oaks of Fayetteville a couple of months ago. Let me start by saying that this facility is OUTSTANDING!!!! I am a medical professional and notice everything when visiting a place such as this. The staff is so attentive from the Community Relations Coordinator,Tracey, to the care providers. Jennifer the director was also very helpful with our specific needs. Tracey goes above and beyond her duties and made us feel right at home the day my mother in law moved in. The recreations coordinator, housekeepers, hair stylist, and the dining room staff are all so lovely. If you are looking for a wonderful place for you or your loved one don't look any further. It is also decorated so beautifully you feel right at home. The price was by far better than any I've checked out and I checked on quite a few. By the way the apartments are so nice as well.

I toured several Assisted Living Facilities in May of 2019 when it became obvious that my mother, who had been diagnosed with dementia in 2012, could no longer live on her own. As often happens this transition has not been an easy one for my mom but the staff has been so helpful every step of the way. Each and every staff member I have interacted with over the last six months have been incredibly helpful, informative, caring, attentive and are providing amazing care to my mother. I couldnt be happier that I chose The Gardens of Fayetteville as my mothers new home.

VERY CLEAN, tastefully decorated, with many, many areas to access large, soft comfortable sitting arrangements that assist in chair exercises. Nearby areas contain media, musical and table games for entertainment. Arts and craft enhancement are aplenty for engagement and inclusion. Staff is abundant and knowledgeable of their charges and are vigilant, friendly, proficient and caring. Residents are cordially served three bountiful meals in beautifully decorated areas.

I came to visit to explore local resources that are available for families, especially for those living with dementia. Needless to say, I was very impressed with Gardens of Fayetteville. It was very clean and Mrs. Miller and staff were welcoming. The residents and families visiting were smiling. The memory care unit was very personable and engaging. As a nurse and researcher, it felt good to be in a pleasant environment and to know quality housing exist for our seniors in the local community. Keep up the good work!Dr. Fayron Epps

Facility is super clean. Has awesome care manager staff that is flexible enough to care for the neediest to the least needy. I am in the building 3 or 4 times every week so I can see a lot of the workings during those days. I continually ask about the food and I give that 5 STARS from the residents voice themselves. They have a monthly forum for the residents to express some new desires on the menu or something they don't want on the menu. I have attended those several times. I also enjoy attending they resident council meeting monthly. They share all of their concerns about activities and events. Lastly, The director has an open door policy to voice any concerns rather good, bad or ugly. I love every employee and resident in the building.

I visited The Gardens of Fayetteville today for my mom. I met with the Director. She was amazing. She showed me her beautiful community and explained the available options. The Gardens of Fayetteville is so warm, and inviting. I spoke with numerous residents who told me how much their enjoyed their community. I saw several apartments. I liked both the apartments I saw. They were very roomy, had upgraded finishes, and a large fridge. I also had lunch at the community and it was amazing. During lunch, I met the head chef and her assistant chef. Both chefs told me they have worked at the community for over 10 years. I spoke with other team members who have worked at The Gardens of Fayetteville for over 10 years. I have looked at 6 other communities, but the Gardens of a Fayetteville is absolutely perfect for my mom, and I cant wait until she moves in. I will really enjoy visiting her.

I interviewed several assisted living facilities. I loved the Gardens of Fayetteville because its a smaller facility. They are so friendly. Its truly like a family. My son commented on how impressed he was because the staff knows each patient and family member/caretaker. Trust me thats a huge compliment. His mother in law was in a larger facility and he said the Gardens of Fayetteville was much better. Such a Caring staff. Tonya, the administrator, has done an outstanding job with communication, planning events etc. The entire staff makes an effort to greet you and assist you. Great food and very very clean. They are a team working with the families during a difficult time. They have had a lot of patience with the transition of one leaving their home and helping the family adjust as well. I highly recommend them.

My parents were residents of Gardens of Fayetteville (formerly Dogwood Forest) for 2 1/2 years. They received great care, and the community was clean and comfortable. The dining program was great. My kids and I ate with my parents frequently and the meals were delicious, just like mom had made them. We even had Mom's birthday party in the private dining room. The thing that impressed me the most was the caring, friendly, staff that have been there for so long .

My mom is in the memory care unit. She has been there for almosr 3 years. The facility is clean and well organized. Staff there are absolutely fabulous. They care about the residents. They are gentle with them, take care of them very well and keep the families involved and aware. Anything related to my mother is immediately reported to me. I have no doubt that the staff is that way because of the director who is always available for the families in the time of questions, needs and desires. She welcomes suggestions and we often see the suggestions implemented. They have activities that include the entire family, celebrations on holidays that include the whole family, and offer parts of the facilty for the family to have 1 on 1 time with the residents. Choosing Gardens of Fayetteville (formerly known as Dogwood Forest) as the place for my Mom was the right choice!!?

My dad has lived at Dogwood for several months. It was an adjustment from living in his own house, but seems to appreciate where he is now. He has a nice apartment, surrounded by many of his familiar things. Hes gone on a couple of trips with them. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My dad has also gained some weight since he wasnt eating great when living by himself. He seems to enjoy having other people around, he has (surprisingly) gotten involved in some of the activities, he still gets to have his daily AJC newspaper delivered, and my family takes him to do things 2-3 times a week. It has been a very good experience.

May 2015
I am very pleased with the care my father is receiving. He has been a resident at Dogwood for two years and I have watched him improve. Due to the constant social interaction, the progression of dementia has been slowed. The living conditions of the facility are clean and very welcoming. The staff is kind and helpful. I am glad that my father is at Dogwood.
December 2013
The staff at Dogwood have truly been a blessing to my mother. They are loving and caring to all the residents. They make a home for those who can no longer live alone. My mother and I are both enriched and blessed by the friendships we have forged there.
November 2013
My mother-in-law has been a resident of Dogwood of Fayetteville for approximately 6 years. Her care has been outstanding. All of the staff are exceptionally friendly, skilled at what they do and truly care about each resident as though they were all family. We get timely feedback on her care and if an issue ever arises we are notified promptly. I would recommend them to others who may have need for assisted living services.
