My husband has been at Safe Haven Brookhaven for 2 years. I am pleased with his care. Visited several facilities before deciding on Safe Haven. I appreciate that the staff is stable and caring. Visit him regularly and have no complaints. My husband has Alzheimers and many other illnesses.

Im a local concierge physical therapist and visit MANY facilities. This one outshines them all. The staff cares for their clients like family. Beautiful atmosphere and always clean.

Safe Haven is exactly that, a safe haven for your declining relative who needs full time care to age in place. It is an upscale home environment with stable loving caretakers. While not a social environment, it is peaceful and restful. There are only a handful of rooms, each with their own bathroom. Our father had some memory loss and became totally bedridden after a surgery that kept him too long in the hospital. He arrived with a bedsore from his hospital stay as well and Safe Haven eliminated that and got him in a wheelchair a few times a day with a Hoya lift so he could exercise a little. The only thing he could do by himself was eat and the food was good. We never had to worry about Dad, we visited often and he was there for four years. The final year or so was hospice in place and he passed peacefully without any disruption to his care or space. We fully recommend and thank Safe Haven for their environment and their care.

Safe Haven has been a blessing in so many ways. My dad was previously in an assisted living facility. Due to covid, I was unable to see him for 7 months. As a result, many things were missed, the attention to detail was just not there. So, I decided to look for another option. Dad has been at Safe Haven for a while now and is doing great. What a difference! This place has taken the constant worry off of my shoulders. I wish i had known about this place years ago, but I am greatful we are here now. The staff are well trained and compassionate. The cherry on top is that I am now able to see my father face to face! We're both very happy. Thank you Save Haven for taking great care of my father —!

In 2016 my family and I sadly began looking for somewhere that could properly take care of my mom. She had spent years being taken care of by nightly live ins that really didn't care about her. The thought of sending her to a care facility was terrifying but we knew it was time. We have never been luckier to find Safe Haven. God shined his light down on Safe Haven and those that worked there and just like that we knew this could be her new forever home. The nurses who work there are now family and even with mom having passed I know I will have the Safe Haven ladies in my life forever. Anyone looking for a care facility will never make a better decision than choosing Safe Haven.

Perfect setting for my 93 year old mom who just needed more help than Assisted Living could provide. The 6:1 ratio was perfect. I figured it was about the same cost as a semi-private room at a nursing home but way more personal.

We are so lucky to have found Safehaven for our mother. She had onset dementia, some health issues and needed lots of attention. Safehaven's level of care is exceptional. The care/ patient ratio is excellent. Mom felt very safe and loved all the staff and other residents there. Detra and team are so attentive to the residents and they quickly became family to us. During the pandemic, they even allowed us to social distance with mom outside on the porch which was wonderful. In mom's final days, they were so caring and loving to her and all of us who were allowed by her side. We are so thankful to Safehaven for all they did for our mother and for us. I am happy to provide a reference to anyone exploring sending a loved one to this facility.

Beautiful facility, super clean. Staff are all well trained in multiple areas including Alzheimers/Dementia.Very attentive to the residents care and needs all day and all night. Staff are all hard working yet kind and patient as if they were caring for their own loved one. Highly recommend Safe Haven.

My mother had been a resident at Safe Haven at Brookhaven for over 2 and years before passing away; she had lived at several other assisted living and nursing homes for 4 years beforehand. Safe Haven was by far the best facility she had lived at over the years. The staff is highly qualified, kind and compassionate and very responsive to resident and family needs. In addition, the facility itself is a real home on a residential street so there is not an institutional feel, and it is always kept clean. My mother, who had entered Safe Haven very weak and in poor health, would not have lived as long as she did without the outstanding care provided at Safe Haven: the lead caregiver, Detra, with her quick thinking and skill, saved my mother's life several times. In addition, the facility manager, Alla, was always available to help out when needed. I feel lucky to have found Safe Haven for my mother and highly recommend it to anyone with a family member who needs caregiver assistance!
