Moving into Canterbury Court is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. I was lonely in my house after my husband died and needed people around. I sold my house moved into an apartment that feels like my home. I've made wonderful friends and the staff is so nice. I'm so comfortable here! Again, best thing I could have done!

Laughter in the dining room, wine around a fire, walks in the garden, dogs in the hall...And all over Canterbury Court is a culture of Kindness. Anne-Marie Sparrow

My parents moved in recently. They are enjoying every aspect of living there. Amazing staff, warm residents, many options of things to do. The apartment and the grounds are lovely.

I have lived at Canterbury Court for over 4 years and am grateful every day to be here. I came initially because I knew that it was a good place and wanted to settle myself somewhere before I had to. I never expected to enjoy it as much as I do. I have a great life, with fun, friends, good food, and many things to do, in addition to the "outside" activities I brought with me. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, welcoming, and caring across the board—residents, staff, and administration. It is a wonderful place to live.

One of the best lifetime decisions I have made was to move to Canterbury Court when I was 70. A life-plan community is a practical choice and an even better financial investment. After 10 years living here through a pandemic, construction, and expansion I know that my life is better, more interesting, and fun than I had ever expected. I have made friends, stayed involved, and remained active both in and away from Canterbury. Nothing beats our swimming pool, fitness rooms, or more than 6 acres of green space out our back door. And I have made the decisions about what will happen if I need more assistance I will just move to another level of care in the same building. This is the best long-term care plan available and I'm happy to be at Canterbury Court.

The warmth and welcome of the residents and the caring nature of the staff have made life at Canterbury so rewarding. We are fortunate to have beautiful gardens surrounding us that invite one to walk, bask in the sun, read a book and enjoy visiting with friends. I am thankful to call Canterbury Court my home. I would like to give a shout out to Canterbury Court for making it such a great place to work. I am a CNA/MedTech for Personal Care who has worked here for the past ten years. I appreciate how supportive and kind the staff are to everyone, this makes my job easier and more gratifying.

The security lady with the orange locks at the front desk has the worst attitude. Apparently she forgot that she works in a customer service roll, which means that you are here to serve the customer. Ma'am you make the entire building look bad. Canterbury Court can do a lot better.

My grandpa has lived here for nearly 20 years. The staff is wonderful. Always very helpful and extremely friendly. I have looked forward to Sunday brunch at grandpa's since I was a teenager. The gardens in the back are absolutely lovely; a great place for a walk to relax. The location is very convenient to numerous stores (grocery, etc.).

Leaving home is so hard, but finding Canterbury brings home back! The comfort of attractive surroundings, the healthy delicious meals, the varied, excellent programs, the chapel, the exercise rooms and programs....beautiful gardens....all I can say there's everything here to make life full and rich. However, topping all this there is a warmth and friendliness among those living here that truly makes it home... where the heart is! Dot MacFarlan

As a new resident, but visiting since 2015, I have always been impressed by the quality of the facility, welcoming community, excellent activities program (though of course greatly curtailed with Covid), safety measures with Covid, beautiful gardens, excellent food, etc. "Good energy"!

I haven't seen my mom who lives on the assisted living floor in 127 days! I am not even allowed a 15 minute visit outdoors at 15 feet apart!

I am a current resident. Entering the shelter in place orders, I did not know what life at Canterbury would be like. I was impressed that throughout the pandemic, Canterbury has done a fabulous job of taking care of us with delivered meals, up-to-date communication, ways to safely exercise, and grocery store / pharmacy pickups. Our gardens are beautiful and large enough to take long walks while maintaining social distance guidelines. Thank you Canterbury!
