As a Employee that works Graveyard shift at Lenbrook I don't see everything that goes on there. But having worked at 3 other Retirement Communities/Nursing Homes I can say they are a world away from what most picture as a place for your older family members to live out their days, & I mean that in Great way!!! As an Employer it's basically the Same Thing, they really look out for those they choose to Employ. Consider yourself lucky if you have a job there. So if they take such Good care of their Employees, imagine how Good of Care they take of those that Call It Home. No better place to see your Grandparents or Parents call Home!!!

I am very, very happy at Lenbrook and it fills all of my present needs. However, I would like for us to meet with Atlanta city officials and request that this area be marked with signage about speed limits and then enforced with police who stop and give tickets to those who do not obey. With the speeding drivers who hit the electrical big box at Kingsboro corner and also another who hit a fire hydrant which caused loss of water for 12 plus hours, we have a legitimate request. This is absolutely the most well run facility. Everyone is so nice, so helpful and there's so much to do. The food is outstanding and I can't rave about it enough. We've told a lot of our friends and now they are all looking at places like LENBROOK, because they don't live in Atlanta.

I have enjoyed living here for the past ten years. It is very friendly and inclusive. The staff are wonderful and very supportive. There are many activities to attend and the best part is the bus service to Kroger and Publix once a week plus at least twice a month to the Symphony and trips to special events

Having lived at Piedmont at Buckhead first, I can, without reservation, state that Lenbrook is top of the line. The food is delicious with multiple restaurants to choose—from fine dining to casual. Associates are well trained and have upbeat attitudes. Lots of activities keep you as busy you would like. In fact, Lenbrook is such a happening place that it takes a while to sort things out. But if you get confused, just ask any resident or associate. They'll answer with a smile.

Love living here! I feel safe, cared for, and well taken care of. I was here for several months before I realized that I should have moved here at least two years prior to when I did. Many people say that after they've been here. There is always something happening that can keep you busy if you care to participate. Don't think twice. Make the move!

Whereas there are SMALL things we'd like to see improvement upon, like a clinic that offers more services without having to pay for a concierge dr, or a dentist/hygienist which accepts dental insurance, or a more diverse menu from in house restaurants, the folks are extremely helpful, the food is good and as retirement communities go, this reminds us every day why we chose Lenbrook over many of the other alternatives we looked at.

The residential quarters here at Lenbrook are plush and comfortable and well cared for, but the thing I've liked best about living here is the life style. We enjoy fitness classes, local excursions, concerts, speakers, classes on different topics , movies, games of all types, including bridge and hobby groups. We even have a croquet court and a competitive team. Holidays are often celebrated with entertainment and food. And the residents are very friendly and interesting. I'm so glad I moved while I could participate in and enjoy the many opportunities here. .

We moved at 76 because my wife had mobility problems. Over the 7 years we have lived at Lenbrook we have been glad we moved and chose to live in the Lenbrook community. It was a very good move.

When we first moved in, everything was perfect. Three items have changed my opinion. 1) Twice we asked maintenance to fix a stuck window so we could have fresh air. We have had no response. 2) The food choices have become limited. I particularly miss "catch of the day." The fish was superb. 3)I especially miss having a hot breakfast.

Other than the move itself, everything has been wonderful. Our apartment, with lots of modifications, turned out wonderful thanks to Micheal Cash. The large patio has been a joy and the array of actives are mind boggling. I can't believe how many new friends we've made in just a few short months.

At my age it's great to have someone else do the cooking and housecleaning. There are enough activities and programs to keep anyone interested. The different levels of care are a plus. The management team has been superb at keeping us safe ever since the pandemic started. As my children say, it's a gift we've given to them; they know that in an emergency I'll be looked after until they can get here! It's been a wise decision.

Norm and I moved to Lenbrook to alleviate the burden for our three boys to have to care for us as we age. To our surprise, Lenbrook has provided so much for than just a safe haven for aging. Every week we meet new, intelligent, fun-loving residents. We use our flex funds for not only eating in the three restaurants (the food is exceptionally good), but also, love the catering option available for catering meals for our extended family, book club events, and luncheons. Everyday when I return to Lenbrook and drive pass the Security Gate, I say a prayer of gratitude to the Lenbrook Staff for providing a place I love to come home to.

Friendly, warm atmosphere of high class, well educated residents make Lenbrook an excellent choice for seniors. It is expensive, but if one can afford it, you get a place with amenities one will not find elsewhere in the Atlanta area. A significant bonus is you can "age in place". This means a clinic is on site for simple problems, or one can temporarily move to a health care floor with full time nursing. There is also a memory care floor and a floor for those who cannot function without assistance. Another plus about Lenbrook is it is a non-profit organization, so residents do not pay property taxes. Only negative is food is inconsistent; however all apartments have full kitchens if one desires to cook for themselves. Conveniently located to major museums, theaters, shopping and medical centers, Lenbrook is a desirable place for people who want to enjoy a full retirement.

I moved in about 5 months ago and my biggest concern was about adjusting to the new environment and meeting new friends. Lenbrook has the move in procedure perfected . I felt at home in the first week! The residents at Lenbrook are very concerned about helping new people adjust to their new community and they have built in procedures that almost guarantee a smooth transition. If you are considering a full service retirement community, I recommend that you give Lenbrook serious consideration.

Independent living at Lenbrook is a unique residential experience for active seniors. Leaving the home my husband (now deceased) and I built 28 years ago was not an easy decision, but I am so pleased with my new home here at Lenbrook. Ten years of living alone as a widow and my approaching 80th birthday played major roles in my decision to move to Lenbrook. I had a real desire to move to a place of my choosing while and where I could enjoy the myriad of activities available at Lenbrook, still have easy access to the activities I want to pursue away from the campus and where I would be living among an amazing group of older citizens. Lenbrook certainly fits that bill!! Besides loving my beautiful living space, I am surrounded by lovely grounds, interesting people, lots of activities and special events. The Fitness Center, the always helpful valets and the dining options are other plusses. The Associates, who are employees and friends, are pleasant, friendly and always smiling. This is a happy place for residents and staff!! I have not missed home ownership for a single minute, as I have settled in to the "Lenbrook Way" of living!

Adrienne and I looked at a lot of alternatives before choosing Lenbrook. Lenbrook's 37 years of experience, its financial security, and tenure of staff were all big positives for us. The attitude and flexibility of everyone we talked with was warm and genuine. All that was promised was more than delivered. The same was true as we moved in. We've moved more than 10 times. The Lenbrook team made this our easiest move ever. Build out and completion of every element of our new home was done perfectly and on time. What a pleasure! Our neighbors here are wonderful. There are many more to meet, but we've enjoyed ourselves with lots of them already. We love our life at Lenbrook!

I have been at Lenbrook since March of 2020, having arrived just as COVID quarantine was necessarily imposed. The pandemic was handled very well at Lenbrook, with careful changes made as called for. I have found living at Lenbrook even better than I thought it would be. Best description is that it is very friendly as to both residents and associates, and that it is a combination of a university, a cruise ship, a fine hotel, a resort, a club, and a large family of caring people. It is certainly not a dull place; instead, it sparkles.

It is an incredible place, very nice people all around you, from residents to workers. I have only been here a month and the security is incredibly good too, you can sleep secure that your apartment is being watched. The food is excellent and we have tested each one of their five great restaurants. The daily exercise programs are excellent and since I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's about 4 or 5 years ago, I exercise daily for at least 60 minutes 7 days a week. we are very happy here and know we made the right move for us.

My husband and I never considered any other Senior Living community than Lenbrook. My father had lived here in the late 88's and my mother-in-law in the late 90's. I also helped over 20 residents over the years, sell their homes to move here. All of the above were very satisfied with their decision to move to Lenbrook. Fast forward, and here I am, enjoying all that Lenbrook has to offer, as a resident! It is amazing to see all of the activites, exercise opportunites, enrichment speakers, etc. that are offered, not to mention wonderful staff, five dining options, and a Croquet court, recently constructed. There are many great floor plans from which to choose, and the staff is wonderful in taking care of, it seems, all of our needs! I could not be more pleased with our decision to move here! After visiting and comparing several Senior Living Communities in Atlanta, I chose Lenbrook. I have been here 5 months and am happy to share that it feels like home. The friendly staff is eager to assist in multiple ways and the residents are happy people. What one feels here is a sense of energy and camaraderie.

The people who live here are wonderful - interesting, intelligent and wise. The employees are very friendly and helpful and provide amazingly thoughtful care. Our apartment is spacious, functional, and well designed for easy living. I love gardening and have had fun digging in the dirt on our courtyard. There are many activities and other Lenbrook residents who share their knowledge about a wide range of subjects - a variety of card games to woodworking, to discussion of the news, to dance, art lessons and shows. The food is excellent and knowing that I do not have to cook every night (as much as I enjoy cooking) leaves me more time for other projects. My husband Warren and I have two dogs - an English Cream Golden Retriever and a Twoodle (two parts poodle). With ball throwing and walks, they do well at Lenbrook and love to greet our neighbors whenever they walk by. Every day we meet happy faces of staff and residents. And every day there are options for new adventures.
