Augustine Landing is one of the warmest, friendly and welcoming places. The minute you walk through the doors, you are welcomed by staff, resident's and you can feel the vibrant, yet comforting atmosphere. There are so may things to do, places to go, or just it and read a book in the amazing and spacious library. I was extremely impressed.

I worked here privately with some ladies a person surprised us for lunch and the lady had gotten use to me he said something and she's hard of hearing and she looked to me for clarification and I tried to tell her what he said and he yelled hey and hit me in my chest pushing me back in my chair I was leaving the receptionist called me back I was scared thought they were going to protect me but the activities director acting as manager went to him asking what happened and walked past me after she talked to him where they told me to sit not saying a word I ask the receptionist isn't she going to come tell me what to do she went in the ladies office came back said no she's busy the rest of the day I said well I need to call the police I'm scared he hit me she went back in the ladies office repeated what I said and the lady came out saying he said he barely touched you seeing he was still in the building and they were not protecting me I called the police I went to my car to wait and the activities director along with the receptionist came out and chased me off the property I said I'm just waiting on the police if I move they won't know where to come she did not care and chased me off I went across the street and sat in someone's driveway waiting on the police they came out and had the receptionist take photos of me so I was on with the cops they said maybe you want to take photos as well and I did when the director of activities kicked me off the property I said I hope this never happens to one of your loved ones she was very mean I was afraid with no help I thought she'd protect me and place me in an office until the police arrived but she did not I tried to call and get an incident report and none was made not a safe place to be I'd like to thank Augustine lading for the comment For the comment below this is a fact and you can call the Jacksonville Sheriff's office for the report the report. The report is public records.

"I just want to tell you how much Linda loved her apartment and the friends she made there enriched her life in so many ways. So many and I surely don't know them all but Marion, Inga, Georgia and Karen were the ones I got to know the best over the almost 3 years :). A lot more faces I recognize but I'm not great at remembering names. She loved her porch and all her plants. I really think she had the best apartment there. It was her "home" and she deeply regretted not being able to return."

I stopped in to Augustine Landing last week without notice. Janessa at the front desk was very nice and welcoming! Cyndi Gornick, the Executive Director, gave me a tour of the community. It is bright, clean, and cheerful. I liked the library, game room, tv room, and walking path they have. We visited with a couple residents we came across who seemed happy.

This place gets worse all the time. The food is AWFUL. One Elevator. That the safety certificate expired on 8/1/22. Today is 5/8/24. When the elevator is out of order you are out of luck if you can't climb the one staircase they also have. It's supposed to be no smoking, but you smell smoke and ppl leave cigarette butts in the dryer. The list is too long to post here.

Today is December 19th we had the most wonderful creative Christmas party I've ever seen in the last 3 years Lorena has again demonstrated her extremely talented ways of decorating in creating an atmosphere of fun love and appreciation of the holidays we had such a wonderful time the karaoke was outrageous again I sang three times and nobody left laugh out loud we had three wonderful singers Denise saying and David Darlene and they allowed me to have a trio with Darlene and David and again I just want to thank Lorena that was absolutely wonderful and afterwards sir General Manager Karen and Marines dressed up as else is gorgeous as they are again I just really want to thank Lorena the most creative spunky fresh breath of the and again just want to thank

We toured Augustine Landing for our mom. From the first conversations by phone our questions were answered. There was no quick sales close measures thrown at us, only compassion and understanding for the very large decision we had to make. On tour day we walked in and we were greeted by staff and residents asking if we needed help and/or if there was something they could do for us. Valentin Delbar, Sales Director, was our tour guide and we received a very detailed tour and explanation of services/ activities available to our mom. The grounds and facility were exceptionally clean. My husband said, "the public restroom was so clean you could eat off the floor." The residents were all smiles, laughing and chatty; everyone seemed to get along like one big family, it was evident they all care about each others wellbeing. Also, the interactions between the the staff and residents seemed very genuine, friendly and helpful. Based on our initial experience this far, we are excited for our mom to call Augustine Landing her new home, meeting new friends and making new memories!

This place Is truly wonderful When I toured this place with some family, you can truly see how much love they put in to make this place feel like home. If I could give activities more than 5 stars I would. The residents are always doing something between outings, celebrations, performances, and more! My name is Jackie and I am 90 years young. Due to unexpected circumstances,I became a resident of a senior residential living here at Augustine Landing. I never expected to live independently at my age. I am fortunate to have found the best place that affords me the things that makes me happy. I enjoy having my own apartment and being an active resident of my community, I have been appointed an ambassador to help new residents get acclimated to our community. I enjoy the many activities provide here which includes exercise classes, cooking,crafts,bingo,happy hour, excursions and much more. I enjoy the luxury of eating my meals in the dinning room and walking away to let someone also do the cleaning up. The staff here is great and we are in good hands which makes me very comfortable. I recommend this kind of living to other senior citizens specially this community.

I am a musician who plays at Augustine once a month. I've been performing there for about a year and a half and last week I played for their happy hour and was absolutely blown away by the new Activity Director! Her name is Miss Lorena and she had all the chairs lined up and ready for residents to come make themselves comfortable and join the party. And what a party it was! She made sure that everyone had ample refreshments and found a comfortable seating arrangement. Then when I began playing music she danced and interacted with the residents and encouraged them to participate and they did! It was the most festive, well attended and energetic happy hour I've seen at Augustine Landing since I've been playing there! Everyone was having a blast and while I was breaking down my equipment after the music was over, Lorena got a big speaker, encouraged everyone to stay put and she played several songs on her system and she led everyone in the "Macarena" and dance moves to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and no one left the party, everyone was doing the moves and had big smiles on their faces! They all participated and danced and had a big time! I was extremely impressed with the way Miss Lorena ran the event and interacted with the residents! She's one of the best activity directors I've met in a long time!

My parents have been living at Augustine Landing for a couple of months. We've had the chance to get into the flow of things, so I wanted to leave a review. They are loving it! As their son, it had brought me and my family great peace of mind to have living in such a caring facility. The director, Karyn, I can't say enough wonderful things... she is very attentive to needs and concerns as they arise... she always remains positive and helpful. The activities director, Lorena, is incredible!! Tons of energy and creative activities. Always a smile on her face and goes above and beyond regularly. Housekeeping is very good as is the dining room food. Check it out when looking for an independent living facility.

My mother is in a different senior facility down the street. I have been to Augustine Landing two or three times over the years trying to get my mother to move there. I find it to be clean the people that work there or responsive to your needs and the cost is equivalent or less than what my mother's paying. The problem there you're dealing with a senior that doesn't want to move and change your environment. But I'll still try and I recommend Augustine Landing.

Augustine Landing is a senior facility that is a normal living facility and turns into assisted living! we have had a friend that lives there now for two years moved here from Connecticut to this facility in Florida. Yes it was tired and old and now it is being renovated , everything is going to be clean and fresh and new and they’re making huge improvements all I can say is this is wonderful for all the residents. In spite of what others may know or have heard people are very happy at this senior and assisted living building , and they are able to make friends with one another and enjoy life!!! It’s one of the most inexpensive but quality places for what it offers in the whole state of Florida! BRAVO & KEEP IT GOING, The seniors deserve the best care they can get for for what they have The ability to to give! They do offer fun trips , & have a bus that Will take them grocery shopping or other shopping into the bank. Some places don’t even have this!! signed .. Helpful friends! ❤️

I attended the Christmas party they host for their residence to visit with my Grandparents. It was a lovely party in the dining room. They had live entertainment and every resident received a nice gift from the staff. There was a buffet for guests as well as table service for the residents, everyone had a wonderful time. I visited with my Grandparents in their condo afterwards, its compact with a Kitchenette, living room, bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The dining room, hallways and other community spaces were all well lit and nicely appointed. Everything was clean and well maintained. They have a Veterans wall where pictures of the residents who served are hung, showing each in their uniform. The residents and staff seem to have a great reputation with each other and the Christmas party was wonderful.
