I had to place my wife into memory care back in September of 2020, as I am no longer able to care for her with my own health issues. I am one of the lucky ones who had a family member help me locate this place. Let me start by saying we saw the reviews previous and were worried we shouldnt even think about it. However, we were informed of the new ownership and changes that were being made. They were also able to provide us with 2 references that currently had loved ones in the facility and had seen both the old and new ownership at work. Unfortunately, we were not able to see the inside due to Covid, however the staff at the time was willing to do a FaceTime call so we could do a virtual walk-through. Yes the place is dated, however it is clean. This was not the first place we had looked at, however this was the closest. I placed my wife there in September during the pandemic and it was a hard, knowing I wouldnt be able to go in to see her settled. I would call her or FaceTime her and the best thing would happen, she would tell me how happy she was, she liked all the people and the food was good. Currently every call I have had with her she has said the same thing. Lori the Director is amazing, she always takes the time to talk with me and my family member when we have questions or if she is concerned about something she contacts us. I can say that the place is clean, when you walk up to the door to have an outside visit or drop something off there is no odor that comes out of the door. They do have a beautiful courtyard that is in the middle of the complex so the residence are safe. The staff is very helpful if we have questions and again they are informative if they have a concern or my wife is in need of anything. They also keep the residents well engaged with activities, they have sent me pictures of her dancing, playing golf, decorating Christmas cookies and they have a monthly birthday party for the residence each month. I will say I was one of those people that said I would not put my wife somewhere, however I will tell you that she is doing great, she is the happiest I have seen her since this horrible disease (Dementia) grabbed a hold of her. She really seems to be thriving with all the activities and attention they receive. I only gave 4 stars because they are in the process of making changes and we are excited to see them. Thank you Lori, Alicia and all the staff they really have been great to work with.

When my husband needed immediate 24-7 memory care placement, I was very fortunate to find Rose Place. Its one of the most affordable places I could find, for which Im grateful since Im paying 100% out of pocket. Whats also very important is that my husband is in a safe environment, safety being a key consideration in dementia care facilities. Rose Place is an older facility, but newer-fancier usually just means higher cost, not necessarily better care! Some older reviews caused me a moments concern, but research has shown me that the center went through some rough times due to circumstances going on behind the scenes. The new, current management has brought things back around, their new director Lori brings skill, compassion and pride in her work, along with a staff of outstanding caregivers. The center also works closely with a local hospice, who come in to care for about a dozen of the centers residents throughout the week, including my husband. The nurses help assure me of the good care being given to all. As hard of a decision that it was to have to place my husband in a care center, Im comforted knowing hes being well cared for at Rose Place.

Let me start by saying that I am not one to leave reviews, but I want to let everyone know what a great experience we had with Rose Place. Lori and the staff at Rose Place were an amazing help in transferring my mom here. Although I had to physically move her, Lori was extremely knowledgeable in helping me understand the process, what my mom needed and what they would provide. This gave my family peace of mind in what was otherwise a pretty complex situation. Alicia presented an organized and clear contract and graciously answered all my questions. There are a lot of activities going on daily and I know my mom will especially enjoy the games and music. They have really turned this place around since last September. The place is very clean and organized and the staff is welcoming and friendly. It seems a lot of these reviews are old and with the old management. I would highly recommend giving Rose Place a call and checking the place out for your loved ones. They really care about the patients and that is very important to me. I know my mom will be well cared for there.

I moved my sister and brother-in-law into The Oasis (now Rose Place) in July of 2019. My sister had Alzheimers and passed last August from the disease. My B-I-L has dementia and has other health issues. Up until about 5 months ago, I felt as others who have posted here (note: majority of complaints were from 1-2 years ago). While Ive had issues with previous Administrators, Ive seen a huge improvement over the last 5 months or so in the interaction of staff with my B-I-L. The new Admin, Lori, has changed the culture of the facility since taking over last fall. It seems the staff are much more professional with a higher quality of care and caring. If we cant care for our loved ones ourselves, we want to know theyre truly cared for and their needs are being met with dignity. I feel Lori Knowles and the Rose Place staff are doing that. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because nothing is 100% perfect and it gives them something to strive for.

My mother is almost 99 years old . She fell and broke her hip had surgery and was in a rehab center. I placed her in Rose place several weeks ago. I found the facility to be exceptionally clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The administration is extremely helpful . I feel so blessed to have found this facility. I can rest easily knowing my moms cared for. My mom adjusted very well to her new surroundings. Its so helpful to be able to talk to the staff when I have questions. They are available to answer my question at any time. The other positive aspect of Rose Place is there has been no Covid in the facility since last August. Residents are test often as well as the staff. I am grateful I have found a place for my moms care. Its been a blessing. Paula A Evans LMFT

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this care facility. From Lori the director, to the top star chef, to every worker who comes in each day and really provides compassionate care to every resident. It was very hard for my family to ever fathom having a loved one go into a facility, but at Rosecare they have done everything in their power to allow my grandmother a happy continuance in a safe space. The disease takes so much away, but Rosecare has allowed us to have our loved one close and well taken care of. It was a miracle we found this place, and I truly believe that Lori and her staff are going above and beyond the call each and everyday!

I have only had my Mother there for a short while, she has both alzheimers and dementia. She has good days and bad days since being there she is happier says the food is good and has attached herself to the staff. Although I am unable to see her I talk to her every day and she is looking forward for the family to come see her. She know me and we are talking shes not angry as she was at the other house. I have not experienced anything that would give me concern. I think they care and do a great job with their patients.

My husband has been at Rose Place formerly Oasis for going on 6 years. They have had several management people in that time period. The current director Lori had worked there previously, I really liked her on hands care and attention to the residents and familys. Then due to changes she was no longer there and things went down hill very badly, was not happy the way things were being handled. Lori is now back as director and working very hard to get upgrade and improvements back to the way they should be. I am very pleased with her personal contact with my husbands care and keeping me informed.

I wasnt happy when I had to place my mom in a memory care facility. But I have been working very closely with Laurie, Pat, and Sandheep to make sure she is safe and well cared for. They are doing amazing things here. She enjoys all of the activities and even thinks she is helping them. I am confident that this is the right place for my mom. Jerrold is such a joy and a huge help always. The place is clean and does not smell at all! Window visits are great and wearing a mask is a must. They notify me of everything. The girls have all been so nice and accommodating. Thank you

I worked here as Maintenance Manager from 1/2018-8/2018 this is a very bad place to work and residents are being used as bank accounts, When there I was working on these issues, Fire alarm system on continues trouble (ground) call system was broken down did not work and residents had no way to call for help, I found some residents on the floor calling for help, don/t know how long they were there, laundry room almost burned down twice, no one know what to do or where to take residents if there was a fire, Kitchen was a rat nest, still screwed up when they let me go, I tired my best to repair this place but all I got from the AD and corp, NO MONEY, I gave then a preventive maintenance list they throw it away. I and Lori (prior AD) were let go because we was asking to fix the place up, we were in the process to repair all but we are no longer there because we cared for the residents, the chef that's food pic's are on there site they let him go for making good food, hired a employee that he let go, to take over, then when she made only bland food they were asking here to make food more like the chef they just let go, lots more if you would like to know more email me at [email protected], lots more. as I worked there I said I would never put my love ones in this place, P.S. not angry x employee they never gave me my last pay check, they lie to State and EDD, first they laid me off, then I just walk off the job and then I was not doing my job, now after 6 months and sill no last pay, they were a no show at there hearing for the state, messed me up on my bills and mortgage, so I am not mad. and if they say they din't do this then I can get you the numbers and email to the Chef, OLD AD, and more.

The rooms at Villa Marche are reasonable in size. I wish we could afford to have my mom in a room by herself. It could be cleaner, but the owner is nice, and he does the best he can. They have table bowling, classic bowling pins on the floor, they have music and entertainment come in, and they play cards and bingo as well as different games. We eat there quite often. The food is not terrific. It could be better, but I like it sometimes. The dining area is crowded. They have a really nice inner courtyard that I like.

Villa Marche seemed sterile and bland. I didn't feel like it would be a place that I would want to stay. It wasn't bad though. They have a music room and a television room, but other than that I'm not sure what other activities they provided. However, it seemed OK.

Last night was a very upsetting situation for myself and my siblings. We had to find an emergency placement for our mother. Christina left her home and dinner guest to meet with us, showed us around, and explained some key info on Dementia. Within a few hours Mom in a bed and settled for the night.Thank you Christina and staff.

I recently toured Oasis. I would say, in this case. Do not judge the book by it's cover. I stopped in to tour for my father who has dementia It was a pleasant surprise there was activity happening and the people who live there were engaging and appeared happy There was no odor and it felt like the staff care. the courtyard was beautiful and very nice and inviting. I toured others and this is top one that felt like a home environment my dad wandered out at 3am at home. Oasis has a security gate they said it is a wander guard to keep him safe. managers were so caring and comforting my dad will be moving there next week.

Lots of great activities to help keep the patients active. The employees always seem to try to help with any concerns you might have. They are slowly trying to update the patients rooms
