A Place For Mom
Overall, it's been a positive experience, and I would recommend them. I have peace of mind that they are taking good care of my loved one. I think the staff are great. The only thing that's lacking is activities due to Covid.

The Seaside Cottage has a very good feel and I instantly felt at home and know that my father will be safe. The number 1 selling point of the Seaside is [name removed], the Manager. She is very compassionate, took the time to show us the entire place, educated us on their daily activities, how they pass the meds per State guidelines, etc. in short she was very thorough. My dad’s first week, I was there everyday and everything we heard on the tour was Indeed true and accurate. On the other hand, the owner [name removed], was nice in the beginning until she got her check. To her it’s all about money and business and nothing about the patients and the family. She is rude to the caregivers. Imagine hearing her scream on her employees on the phone???? She is not hands on at all. At least she made the best decision on hiring a great Manager

I dear friend of mine moved from an assisted care facility in Newport Beach to Heathers. She was very pleased, and happy, especially with the response to her needs and the exceptional care givers treatment. It is a special place. If your loved one needs or wants that responsive special care, I recommend Heathers.

My mom loves being here. It's beautiful and comfortable. They make delicious meals and the staff is very caring and warm. They helped me find the right place for my mom.... she needed additional medical care, and they coordinated that for me. I love coming here to visit here.
