Cambridge Court, and it's Executive Director Lauren Chon, entered my family's lives at a truly crucial time. We were stunned by the loss of one of our brothers in an airplane crash. That brother had taken charge of one of our older brother's health and financial care while our younger brother and I were doing the same for our oldest brother. Now, it all came on my shoulders and I was overwhelmed with it all, taking care of medical issues, trying to locate a decent, home-like living environment, etc. As soon as I stepped into, toured, and met Lauren and the staff at Cambridge Court, I knew I had found the home for my brother I was looking for! First, physical appearance was impressive: it was spotlessly clean, decorated with style flare, and taste, and had a homey, comfortable feeling. The residents' rooms were spacious and the dining room felt and looked like one in a 5-star hotel. They were also in the process of installing new garden areas and walks, and had furnished both a library for quiet reading and reflection and a lovely family-room like entertainment room with lots of roomy couches and armchairs and a huge television that the residents were enjoying. Second, the other residents and the family members who were visiting seemed very happy. They were full of praise and it was evident that the residents liked living there, and their family members praised it and said they trusted it as well. Third, and most appreciated, Lauren Chon was incredibly helpful in guiding me through so much bewildering paperwork that I was struggling just to comprehend, in addition to all of the death details and arrangements for our other brother that I was also going through. Lauren helped me negotiate my way through paperwork such as Medi-Cal, DPSS, etc. She helped me make and also attended appointments with me to help me understand and complete all of those confusing processes so that we were able to move my brother right in. He was able to have his personal belongings, which aided the transition from living independently. He has a somewhat difficult personality, and we observed that Lauren, and the medical and support staff were all very patient and understanding with him. He enjoys meals with others in a dining room experience and the medical technicians oversee the ordering and administration of his medicines. Because I care for two other brothers as well, I rest more easily knowing that I have the reliability and support that I can depend upon with Cambridge Court and Lauren Chon. I am eternally grateful to have them part of our family's lives!

My sister has lived at Cambridge Court for over 10 years and feels very at home there. Cambridge Court is like one big family. The administration and staff are very friendly and attentive. Many of the staff members have been there for years and they genuinely care about the residents. There is a nice selection of options for meals and the food is very good. The apartments are good sized and are cleaned weekly, along with laundry and medication distribution if you need that option. Lauren Chon, the Director is always very helpful and willing to talk to you if you have a question. Lupe, the Office Manager is very dedicated and always helpful and caring. Our family is very fortunate to have found Cambridge Court for our sister and we consider Cambridge Court family. Recent upgrades look so very nice with new flooring and outside patio landscaping. I would not hesitate to recommend Cambridge Court Assisted Living in Fullerton. Thank You

We have been very blessed to have found Cambridge Court for my parents. The staff are supportive, caring, and responsive. The facility is near my sister's home, and the owner, Lauren, is compassionate and collaborative as we continue to address the various issues that arise as my parents each progress separately on this challenging journey. Thank God for Angels on Earth!

I looked at so many of these places for my Uncle. This was well maintenanced, with a wonderful staff, a beautiful open courtyard in the center with rose garden, and live music concert.Their Parakeets had baby birds hatching that week. All the residences were so excited. The rooms are huge with AC, refrigerator and cable. My Uncle was lucky to get the one with sliding patio door to gardens. The staff does laundry, changes sheets and cleans his room. Moving him into Assisted Living was very hard for my family but I could not Thank them all enough in Cambridge Court.

I am writing this review because the staff of Cambridge Court should be getting the recognition they deserve. I live out of state and had to choose a facility that not only fit within my father's budget, but met all his care needs too. I was able to preview 3 other facilities in person, before ultimately choosing Cambridge Court, sight unseen! Why? Well, I had been working with Teresa Jepsen, from Trusted Senior Placement, and she was able to give me her perspective and experience, which proved invaluable! She said that if her parents needed the type of care that CC offered, she wouldn't hesitate to move them there. Also, the sincerity and helpfulness of Erin Fiore, the Assistant Executive Director at Cambridge Court, was above and beyond what one could expect. No, the building itself hasn't been remodeled or updated in quite some time, but honestly I think it helps make it feel more like a home than an impersonal hospital, like some of the other places I saw. But what really makes this place stand out....the staff! Gilbert Ramirez, who I asked and has been with the company since 1999, is the "Wellness Coordinator", he basically manages all the caregivers, who as far as I'm concerned, are ANGELS on Earth. Gilbert and his staff are genuinely the most caring people you could ever ask for to look after your loved ones or yourself. Always patient, encouraging and reminding those of us who are going through this for the first time, what's normal and to be expected. My father needs assistance with managing his medications, they have changed his life for the better because of their caring service. The staff is so attentive to details they will not try to multitask while preparing the residents medications. I witnessed this myself multiple times. I also would like to note that when I asked the various caregivers and kitchen/dining room staff how long they had worked there, not one person I asked was less than 7 years! Kudos to the owners and managers for taking care of your staff well enough to keep them loyal. They truly seem like a family, not just coworkers. The dining room staff is so polite and nice to the residents as well. I never heard one resident complain about their food, it all appeared to be balanced and appetizing. I spent 11 days in CA and was at Cambridge Court everyday, at various times of day and night, and all I can say is, they are sincerely aware and concerned for each residents needs. I'm so glad I was directed here. My father is truly blessed to live there. There are several very nice residents, some younger than I expected, 40s-50! And many older too, but overall everyone seems well taken care of. So, as I stated at the beginning of this review, the staff needs to be recognized, they are what makes Cambridge Court exceptional, not just then nice residents and the generously sized rooms with great storage, although that too is a huge plus! Thank you, to all the Cambridge Court staff, you are truly respected and appreciated!
