I'm worse than when I got here. Maintenance if your lucky. People are friendly. They don't want you to leave. Communication limted. I was bitter when I first had to come but since really getting involved, quite a nice place. The activities always keep my brain active or walking in the area and gym takes care of my physical needs. Place is always kept clean by an amazing staff. They are all always willing to help you in any way they can. Just come see for yourself.

Park Plaza is an amazing place for seniors to call home. Their environment is positive, joy filled and fun. The staff are kind and caring. They treat the resident's family as family. The building is clean, bright and lovely. The food is amazing and plentiful. Park Plaza has frequent events that are creatively designed for seniors to enjoy while living their best lives. Park Plaza is clean, staff are friendly, rooms work well, caregivers are committed and caring. Seems understaffed on management. I can't imagine living here without a competent and caring family member who knows me, regularly ensuring I am okay, doing things that staff won't do, and getting everything I am paying for, but maybe that is true everywhere.

The best recommendation I can make is how satisfied my elderly mother is. She has been a Park Plaza resident for six years and feels it is her home and family there. She absolutely loves how kind and friendly the staff is and wouldn't consider moving elsewhere. She likes that it is a smaller facility easy to get around and everybody knows everybody like a family.

Our Mom is a new resident at Park Plaza and is very happy with the move. She is over 90 years old and is being taken very good care of. She really loves the food and every employee is beyond friendly and helpful. It started with the tour with Jennifer Denison and everything else to get her moved in was so easy. Mom feels safe and happy. She won't stop talking about how friendly everyone is.

These folks made my 93 year old Father’s last year truly enjoyable. The staff is wonderful. He was active and always busy playing cards, bingo or just sitting in the courtyard.

Park Plaza is an amazing senior living community. I have been here 3 1/2 months and the quality of care is unbelievable. All areas of the community from the 5 star restaurant~ the choices for every meal are exceptional and they have so many choices they will help you find a choice you will be happy with, all the department managers, receptionist, med techs, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, all employees do such a good job. The activity department always has so many choices of things we can do everyday from bingo & other fun things to do, take you on trips, bring performers into entertain us, special lunches, pizza & many other goodies to eat are a special treat, swimming pool, etc. I have to write a book on activities and the dining experiences alone. As you enter the lobby they have music playing from our era, glen miller, etc. Use your alarm you don’t worry when someone will come to help, I know I will get help from the time I press the button they will come and help me as fast as they can get there. To prove Kisco is a first class community (25 I believe) the owner Andy and Ed, I apologize I can’t remember their last names, came to Park Plaza 3 weeks after I moved in. Residents were offered to meet with them, ask any questions, Andy & Ed ask us questions about the community. They also met with employees and department heads. I have never experienced anything like that but I loved the opportunity to share how happy I was and I am happier now. Surprisingly I met a great guy and we spend a lot of time together. I am the happiest I’ve ever been, retired and living in this beautiful community with great new friends. You have to come to see everything they have to offer. Connie Krista

I am writing this for my friend, Rose B. She wanted me to say that that the food is terrible and getting worse. They run out of desert and forget the dip for the French dip. The transportation and housekeeping are great, always helpful. Debbie in reception, is kind and helpful. the higher staff seem to want to make life hell for us. The activities are less than average.

It was nothing short of a miracle that my parents agreed to move out of their home. Much of their decision was based on the positive experiences they had while dining at Park Plaza and joining for some of their excursions. The other residents at Park Plaza offered my father friendship and shared experiences when my mother’s dementia decreased her ability to socialize. The staff was warm and supportive while being professional and effective in helping our family make this difficult transition. My siblings and I enjoyed many sunny visits in the courtyard and many delicious meals together with our parents at Park Plaza. Park Plaza was truly a port in the storm and my family is forever grateful!

My Dad was very resistant to leaving his home with my mom. After a complimentary dinner and a tour of Park Plaza his resistance left and they spent 4 years at Park Plaza and enjoyed their apartment, the activities and social contacts of their peers. I cannot say enough good about this lovely alternative for this season of life! There is nothing that compares to being with people who have shared history with you.
