Perfect for someone that just needs a small safety net to live. Live in your own home (1 and 2 bedroom), but have meals provided, housekeeping once a week and someone to check on you. Appears to be happy, thriving community.

Great friendly environment! Atria Valley Manor reminds me of how neighborhoods used to be, friendly neighbors, neighborhood potlucks, neighborhood events, supportive people looking out for one another. Plus, the community restaurant serves fresh delicious meals and there are friendly, staff to cleaning, drive and provide maintenance. This is the perfect senior living community!

Atria Valley Manor is an Amazing place. Some of my top reasons why this place is my favorite over other communities I have come across is. 1. Top notch accommodating office staff. They are all extremely generous and knowledgeable. 2.Cute little cafe with excellent food and even an ice cream bar!! 3. Activity center with so many different activities going on daily. 4. Grounds are immaculate, homey, and the areas are easy to navigate. 5. Apartments are spacious and very nice. When it comes time to move my mother In law to someplace this would probably be my top choice.

Our 55 year old daughter was diagnosed with Early Onset of Alzheimer's, so we moved her into Atria Valley Manor last March. It has been a wonderful experience for her and for us. The staff and residents have been understanding about her memory issues, and they go out of their way to include her in discussions at lunchtime and to encourage her to do the activities that are included. Here are several observations including people I want to mention. The apartments are very roomy, even the studios, and each one has a private patio area. Pets are welcomed, and the walking paths are great for taking dogs on a lease for a walk. The food is very good, and a variety of dishes are presented each week. Residents can select from wonderful desserts. Our daughter takes pictures of some of her favorite meals to post on Facebook. Vicky Carlson, the director, has a very difficult job, but she is always prompt in answering calls and emails to explain situations that occur. Sally, the activity director, has a magnetic personality, and she always compliments our daughter on her enthusiastic participation, especially with anything that involves dancing and rhythm. John, the maintenance man, does respond when our daughter needs help with something in her apartment, and he is very patient in explaining the solutions. She doesn't always understand, but he will tell her things again and not make her feel like a bother. Mary, the cleaning person, does a wonderful job cleaning once a week. Our daughter doesn't always keep everything picked up, but Mary is good about dealing with the clutter. Our daughter is by far the youngest resident, but she loves the interesting people she has met, and I think her young spirit is an inspiration to the other residents. I can't think of a better place for our daughter to be. We feel blessed!

My mom Maxine lived here for a year & a half. Her only regret was that she hadn't moved in sooner. She was 93, fiercely independent, and she found a community of residents that were friendly, vibrant, and interesting. I can't say enough about the staff. The director Vicky was always responsive to anything when needed. Mary and her kitchen staff were wonderful. Sally, Jamie, John, and (Divine, who helped keep her apartment), she considered as friends. She felt at home in her roomy apartment & especially loved sitting on her patio. Landscaping & walking paths a big plus!

My wife and I have lived at Atria Valley Manor for 3 years, we start our 4th year end of February 2021. We looked at several retirement communities, but didnt find any that can compare to this one. Our apartment has adequate living space and a nice patio with front lawn. The Staff here is outstanding in go far beyond what you would expect, especially during this pandemic. You can search other places, but dont waste your time.....this is where you want to live.

I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with all levels of staffing at Atria Valley Manor on many occasions. Roughly six years ago I looked at no less than twenty independent living sites in Tucson and brought my neighbor of 20 years to visit. He stayed about two years until he passed at 99. So when asked by another neighbor for my recomendation for IL site, of course we came here first. She enjoyed setting, adding plants and bird feeders to her patio for enhancement. Sadly COVID has tempered her neighborhood walks. I confidently recommend a visit and discussion with the Atria team before finalizing your selection for IL in Tucson.

I was reluctant to move here, just wasnt willing to give up my beautiful home in Sierra Vista....but what a blessing this place turned out to be. It has been a excellent decision for me. Before my late husband passed away, we looked at the property in 2001...just in case we might ever want to be.. after he passed! It was apparent that I needed to be in Tucson for medical needs. When we were shown our apartment, it was just what we needed. Beautiful grounds and excellent staff from Maintenance, Transportation, Housekeeping, Security, Culinary Staff, Activity Director and Office Staff. Before the pandemic everything you could ask for was at your fingertips. With the pandemic, the whole world changed and Atria Valley Manor stepped up in providing in-apartment dining,. All field trips have been canceled. We have our temperature taken twice a day, which is comforting. If youre looking for an Independent Living Community, look no farther.......but you might have a wait for apartment to become available, but when it does, grab it!

I have had the great experience of living here at Valley Manor for over 4 1, 2 years. What an incredible change my life is experiencing. With only my Special Needs son living in a group home in Tucson, Valley Manor is now my additional Tucson family. I am so happy here, the staff is incredible and I feel so safe, secure and loved. The only problem is how good the meals are as there are days I can barely button my slacks!!! I wish every senior could have the life I am having at Valley Manor. As mentioned, my precious son was born with special needs. He ALWAYS eats with me at the Valley Manor Dining Room for all major holidays. Thus, I need to let you know how loved, appreciated and respected he is by not only all the Valley Manor staff but with my fellow residents as well. He loves these times and knows that Mom eats very good food!!!!!

i Knew about Valley Manor. because I found it many years ago for my mother. She loved it here. When it was my time to find a senior living I remembered it and although I checked out six other homes in the city, I knew this was the one for me. I love it here and now all my friends who have visited me, as well as my family, think this is the best place for me.

A Great Respite Haven My husband and I have been living at Atria Valley Manor for almost three years. We have enjoyed our apartment and the beautiful grounds here. We feel like were living in our own home, but with close friends and neighbors. Most of all, we have enjoyed the camaraderie and caring by all. We enjoy all the events offered such as: exercise classes, games, dining out and the events from outside entertainment at our clubhouse. We even have barbecues on our lovely grounds. All the employees here are very pleasant, caring and helpful. Its like living with family. We all look out for one another and care about each other.

I have been employed with Atria, here at Atria Valley Manor, for one year and could not be happier. The small environment makes our community feel like a home away from home for me. I feel like the staff truly cares for the residents as if they are a part of their own family, and as a company Atria really makes an effort to accommodate every residents need, as well as provide excellent benefits for their employees. I have even recommended Atria for my own family members!
