The time came when we realized more help was needed and it was certainty a lucky day when we came to see Atria Valley Manor. We visited other options but the units were so small and felt institutional. We weren't finding a living situation that was right for us and were ready to give up. Then we came here. The units are almost entirely 1 story with large fenced patios. It maintains the feel of a home. It was originally built for military families so the construction is sturdy. The grounds are very well maintained and the sidewalks wide. The cafe is centrally located and the food is excellent. There are only 60 or so residents so it feels like a community and getting to know people is not difficult. The staff is very good and responsive to your needs. There are numerous activities and social events. If this sounds like what you're looking for you should come see for yourself. Kenneth A Benson

We liked it so much, we moved here. Everyone was so nice and the place was perfect for us. It will be nice not to have to cook, wash dishes, clean or change and clean the linens and towels. Of course, you pay for it, but...

About 9 months ago, I left a review of Atria Valley Manor, which I toured when looking for the right Senior Independent Living environment for a family member. At the time, I said I liked it so much, I’d consider moving here myself. As it turned out, that’s what I did! Living here makes it easier to assist my family member and I love my roomy apartment and balcony. The grounds here are really lovely and well-maintained, the people are very nice (both staff and residents), and it’s a great value. This place feels more homey and comfortable than any of the other places I looked at.

I teach fitness/exercise classes at Atria every week and have always found the facility to be very clean, with cheerful & caring staff. The activities area is always decorated beautifully for all seasons, giving the residents a lovely and warm feel and the activity room is always ready for any service or instructor who is scheduled to come. The exterior of the facility is top notch, clean, the shrubbery and flowers are manicured and walkways well maintained and free of trip hazards. I teach at several assisted living facilities in Tucson and Atria on Lee Street is my favorite. Sally and others there are always so welcoming and involved, that it makes for pleasurable encounters anytime they are there. I get a lot of positive feedback from residents who attend my classes about how much they love living at Atria.

Twice a week I conduct an exercise program at Atria Valley Manor. What a lovely community! The residents are so engaged in activities that it is a pleasure to work with them. The grounds are so beautiful. The community is all one story, and the apartments are like town homes and they have an open feeling. The staff are also very friendly and very supportive. I love coming here!

We are happy that we toured Atria Valley Manor. The warmth and genuineness of the staff is above and beyond what was expected. Staff goes out of their way to make your experience better. Staff are friendly and very professional. The outside areas, including the patio gardens, are so welcoming and so well maintained. For activities, happy hours, resident games, outside trips, and exercise classes seem entertaining. The dining room seemed very pleasant and you could see that residents were enjoying their lunch. Atria is a hidden Gem in the Tucson Area.

From the first time that I walked into Atria Valley Manor, I felt very welcome. It is very well kept. The garden courtyards are beautiful, with lots of trees. I learned that if you move in you are assigned an ambassador to help you find your way around, and someone who will escort you to the dining room and that person will introduce you to fellow residents, which is very pleasant. They bring in entertainment for the residents to enjoy, there are seated exercise classes and a weekly movie. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their transportation service is tops! But most important is it feels like home. Amazing community located in Tucson.

Atria Valley Manor is an Independent living community that will help you age in place with support resources. This community is tucked away off busy streets and is a very quiet setting. Even though it is independent they offer three meals a day, linen service and housekeeping. The grounds are covered in shade trees with lots of areas to be outside and enjoy the day. The apartments are large and they all have lovely patios. I have toured this community and would recommend it again!

Atria Valley Manor truly stands out as a warm and welcoming senior living community. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the positive energy. The atmosphere is inviting, and the residents are incredibly friendly”it’s easy to see that this is a place where people feel at home. There’s always something going on, whether it’s a book club, a fitness class, or a movie night. The sense of community and engagement is wonderful, and it’s clear that the staff works hard to create meaningful and enjoyable experiences for everyone. One of the things that really impressed me is the quality of the living spaces. The apartments are spacious, filled with natural light, and meticulously maintained. It’s clear that comfort and care are top priorities here. If you’re looking for a senior living community that feels vibrant, supportive, and genuinely caring, Atria Valley Manor is an excellent choice.

Perfect for someone that just needs a small safety net to live. Live in your own home (1 and 2 bedroom), but have meals provided, housekeeping once a week and someone to check on you. Appears to be happy, thriving community.

Great friendly environment! Atria Valley Manor reminds me of how neighborhoods used to be, friendly neighbors, neighborhood potlucks, neighborhood events, supportive people looking out for one another. Plus, the community restaurant serves fresh delicious meals and there are friendly, staff to cleaning, drive and provide maintenance. This is the perfect senior living community!

Atria Valley Manor is an Amazing place. Some of my top reasons why this place is my favorite over other communities I have come across is. 1. Top notch accommodating office staff. They are all extremely generous and knowledgeable. 2.Cute little cafe with excellent food and even an ice cream bar!! 3. Activity center with so many different activities going on daily. 4. Grounds are immaculate, homey, and the areas are easy to navigate. 5. Apartments are spacious and very nice. When it comes time to move my mother In law to someplace this would probably be my top choice.

My mom Maxine lived here for a year & a half. Her only regret was that she hadn't moved in sooner. She was 93, fiercely independent, and she found a community of residents that were friendly, vibrant, and interesting. I can't say enough about the staff. The director Vicky was always responsive to anything when needed. Mary and her kitchen staff were wonderful. Sally, Jamie, John, and (Divine, who helped keep her apartment), she considered as friends. She felt at home in her roomy apartment & especially loved sitting on her patio. Landscaping & walking paths a big plus!

Our 55 year old daughter was diagnosed with Early Onset of Alzheimer's, so we moved her into Atria Valley Manor last March. It has been a wonderful experience for her and for us. The staff and residents have been understanding about her memory issues, and they go out of their way to include her in discussions at lunchtime and to encourage her to do the activities that are included. Here are several observations including people I want to mention. The apartments are very roomy, even the studios, and each one has a private patio area. Pets are welcomed, and the walking paths are great for taking dogs on a lease for a walk. The food is very good, and a variety of dishes are presented each week. Residents can select from wonderful desserts. Our daughter takes pictures of some of her favorite meals to post on Facebook. Vicky Carlson, the director, has a very difficult job, but she is always prompt in answering calls and emails to explain situations that occur. Sally, the activity director, has a magnetic personality, and she always compliments our daughter on her enthusiastic participation, especially with anything that involves dancing and rhythm. John, the maintenance man, does respond when our daughter needs help with something in her apartment, and he is very patient in explaining the solutions. She doesn't always understand, but he will tell her things again and not make her feel like a bother. Mary, the cleaning person, does a wonderful job cleaning once a week. Our daughter doesn't always keep everything picked up, but Mary is good about dealing with the clutter. Our daughter is by far the youngest resident, but she loves the interesting people she has met, and I think her young spirit is an inspiration to the other residents. I can't think of a better place for our daughter to be. We feel blessed!

My wife and I have lived at Atria Valley Manor for 3 years, we start our 4th year end of February 2021. We looked at several retirement communities, but didn't find any that can compare to this one. Our apartment has adequate living space and a nice patio with front lawn. The Staff here is outstanding in go far beyond what you would expect, especially during this pandemic. You can search other places, but don't waste your time.....this is where you want to live.

I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with all levels of staffing at Atria Valley Manor on many occasions. Roughly six years ago I looked at no less than twenty independent living sites in Tucson and brought my neighbor of 20 years to visit. He stayed about two years until he passed at 99. So when asked by another neighbor for my recomendation for IL site, of course we came here first. She enjoyed setting, adding plants and bird feeders to her patio for enhancement. Sadly COVID has tempered her neighborhood walks. I confidently recommend a visit and discussion with the Atria team before finalizing your selection for IL in Tucson.

i Knew about Valley Manor. because I found it many years ago for my mother. She loved it here. When it was my time to find a senior living I remembered it and although I checked out six other homes in the city, I knew this was the one for me. I love it here and now all my friends who have visited me, as well as my family, think this is the best place for me.

A Great Respite Haven My husband and I have been living at Atria Valley Manor for almost three years. We have enjoyed our apartment and the beautiful grounds here. We feel like we're living in our own home, but with close friends and neighbors. Most of all, we have enjoyed the camaraderie and caring by all. We enjoy all the events offered such as: exercise classes, games, dining out and the events from outside entertainment at our clubhouse. We even have barbecues on our lovely grounds. All the employees here are very pleasant, caring and helpful. It's like living with family. We all look out for one another and care about each other.

I have had the great experience of living here at Valley Manor for over 4 1/2 years. What an incredible change my life is experiencing. With only my Special Needs son living in a group home in Tucson, Valley Manor is now my additional Tucson family. I am so happy here, the staff is incredible and I feel so safe, secure and loved. The only problem is how good the meals are as there are days I can barely button my slacks!!! I wish every senior could have the life I am having at Valley Manor. As mentioned, my precious son was born with special needs. He ALWAYS eats with me at the Valley Manor Dining Room for all major holidays. Thus, I need to let you know how loved, appreciated and respected he is by not only all the Valley Manor staff but with my fellow residents as well. He loves these times and knows that Mom eats very good food!!!!!
