My brother moved here approximately 2 months ago. I am writing the review as he is visually impaired. He has a very nice apartment with weekly housekeeping. He has transportation provided for most places he needs to go. He has three meals per day. He was provided a medical alert should he need immediate help/have an emergency. It really has been a wonderful fit for him as he is able to live independently with all that is provided. Lisa and Susan helped make this happen and we are grateful. The building is undergoing renovation and it will be exciting to see the changes. Highly recommend.

Found this place for elderly friend. Very well trained staff. Undergoing renovations. Only drawback is no flexibility for meal times. Be on time or no eat.

I am so thankful for Vista de la Montana and Lisa's persistence in marketing in order to work out a time that I could come visit and realize that Vista de la Montana would be a good fit for my recently widowed brother-in-law. Since he has moved in I cannot compliment the entire staff enough who are always pleasant and willing to answer our endless questions. The food is good because we have tried it and all in all it seems to be a good place for us to be able to assist our brother. Thank you so much Lisa.

Friendly residents. Accommodating friendly staff. Clean and open spaced common areas. Tasty and varied menu selection. Covered parking available as well as bus service. Studio room is spacious. Settling in well.

I took a tour today and can not begin to say how impressed I was. Kim explained everything so clearly and completely. I was relieved to know this was a place where my husband and I could live and enjoy it as well as have peace of mind. The apartments are well thought out. I have high hopes we will call Vista de la Montana our home in the near future.

I visited Vista de la Montana, in Surprise AZ, today. I am thinking about moving into senior independent living so that I don’t have to worry about taking care of my home or cooking again. I was very impressed by the marketing director and the residents I met at lunch. The food was delicious and the residents were delightful. The residents seemed to be very happy to be there. I think it would be a very healthy lifestyle for me. There are many activities that I could take part in with my extra free time. The “ambiance” was perfect. It was a bright and light filled place and I felt very comfortable there.

As w e were entering Vista de la Montana, a woman shouted at us, 'where is your mask!?' When I explained we had not needed it at another facility, she said, where is your mAsk? In your car? Go BACK to your car and get it'.we felt like Five year olds. We had a lovely time with Jane Burrows. she was well versed on the information shared with us. (Her prior experience in sales ). The tour following the chat in her office was helpful. When we walked to see the cottage we noticed a lack of landscape care in that area. Lunch was delightful and another chance to meet and greet members of the staff. All three of us had our separate water bottles. The water was clear but not the bottles. The pink lemonade was mostly colored water. Most of my career was planning or attending large events..these are the things I would look for in any venue. I was so impressed with the staff at Vista de la Montana especially Wesley Wilkins. Wesley is a true professional and compassionate person who really does understand the issues that surround our senior citizens. He helped my family by placing my Mom in Vista de la Montana. Although, she hasnt moved in yet, we are so happy to get her out of her current situation and place her in a place that truly cares about her health and state of mind. Thank you so much Wesley!!

My grandma lives here. We love the staff, neighbors, schedules etc. They have a littlw salon inside that she now utilizes. Price is average I would say. They welcome family for meals which which we love as well so we can spend more time with grandma. Also, I was worried about having her alone as this is s first for her. The office gave me a key so I could check on her at any time. Love them!

Nice place to retire to the staff are nice its way too expensive though like $2,100 a month for my mom to stay there and she only got fifteen hundred and something so I was having to put the rest then it was so hard for us and I had six kids at a time. But its a nice place the activities are always going on the food is pretty decent since they got the new cook even though all the old people still complain. if I could afford it I would have left her in there for sure she made some really good friends there.

I moved my mother into a one bedroom apartment at Vista de la Montana recently. She is so happy with everything they offer and just fell in love with her apartment and gorgeous view of the mountains from her balcony. Her apartment and fixtures look brand new, even though its an older building. The staff truly treats the residents like family and is very concerned for their safety and comfort. The office manager, Judy, is so welcoming and accommodating. The assistant manager, Wes, is a great fit for the job. His priority is caring for the residents and youll find him making the rounds at mealtime, engaging with his family. He is very kind-hearted and loves to serve others. Lidia, our salesperson, took the time to get to know and understand moms needs. She was not pushy for one second, but she answered all of our questions and found the answers if she didnt know, but she was very knowledgeable. One of the websites mentions safety pull cords in the units, but the old system has been replaced with a wearable pendant with GPS tracking and emergency response is notified at the push of a button in event of a fall or other urgent need. It gives me and my family peace of mind to know that mom is in good hands. The menu is chef selected and prepared. The sous chef, John, is very talented and uses generations-old family recipes that are delicious. My mother is very pleased with the dining options, 3 full meals daily, snacks & coffee available any time. She hasnt gotten involved in the activities yet, but in time she will. After she saw what Vista de la Montana had to offer, she knew it was the right place for her and didnt want to look any further. Kudos to the Holiday company and the excellent staff, from management to housekeeping and everyone in between--youre doing a fantastic job! Thank you all!
