I currently work at Scottsdale Village Square and I enjoy working here, the staff are all very helpful and loving towards the residents, families and each other. The community is beautiful with great amenities. The leadership in the community are very loving and have a strong background with the senior community and are always in the business to make sure the residents have what they need. The staff at Scottsdale Village Square care for our residents as if they were our own families. Ignore the negative reviews they are completely false! This is a great please to work and a great place to house your loved one!

Hi I am a current Employee, and have been working here since May 2022. The Residents all seem Wonderful and Friendly. The Staff is very caring to the Residents as well as other staff. They were all very helpful in helping me navigate through out the Community when I was first new. The Management Team has been amazing to help with anything I've needed or questions I've had since arriving. There doors are always open to anyone that comes to them and are very supportive. I have so far been blessed in making the right decision in coming to work for this Community. The property here is beautiful with all the mature trees and well landscaped. Thank You to Everyone here for being so warm and welcoming.

Its a great organization to work for; our staff is always supportive whenever I need any help taking care of the residents which is my primary responsibility. I have work at other facilities that didnt have the same teamwork that is not the case with Pacifica Senior living we all work together which makes my job less difficult. I work here for some time now and I enjoyed working here. The staffs and residents are all seems happy here.

Scottsdale Village Square is a Great Facility! The facility is super clean and well kept always.. The staff give EXCELLENT care... they treat the residents with dignity and respect... Its RARE if even possible to find a facility where u wont have the stress concern or worry about possible mistreatment . It just doesnt happen at Scottsdale Village Square ...If youre looking for a really good facility, I recommend Scottsdale Village Square !! You wont be sorry!!

I have been working at Scottsdale Village Square for over 3 years. I have never worked in an environment were the staff so genuinely care about the residents. If you take a tour of our grounds on any given day you will pass caregivers, diet aides, CNAs, etc. all greeting residents by name and giving them hugs as they pass. I am also impressed every day with the level of respect and empathy from upper management; to say they care about their employees is an understatement; I feel valued and appreciated each day I work here. I couldnt think of a better place for a loved one to live, or for a friend to work. Scottsdale Village Square is the place to be!

SVS is an amazing community. The fact that a large percentage of the staff has been there 10, 15 and even 20 years tells you their employees are happy. And happy employees make for happy residents! Everyone we meet, not just the nurses and care teams, but support staff and management, are professional and genuinely care. They are so helpful and very communicative. My brother-in-law is respected and sincerely cared for at SVS. Weve experienced many SNF over the years and SVS is the best.

Especially during this COVID-19 crisis, our frontline workers are doing everything they can to make sure our residents are safe, healthy, and happy. I am proud to be part of such a great community. My husband is a new resident and is enjoying his days there. Because of the Covid-19 virus he is not able to participate in activities. The staff has done a wonderful job of keeping the residents safe and the experience will get nothing but better when they are able to go to activities. As his wife, I am the one who worked with staff members to set up his admittance. Angella Alverson and Barbara Byrum were both very knowledgeable and patient while guiding me thru this process. My brother lives at Scottsdale Village Square. I lam his Guardian. I am most grateful to the staff, all the staff at SVQ for their attention to detail, their mindfulness to by brothers needs. They are aware of his challenges and respond with great kindness and clarity. They keep me fully informed of my brothers medical condition, his psychological needs and challenges. We came to SVS last July after living in Scottdale for 50 yeas after experiencing serious ailments with both of us. We both now have improved both mentally and physically with the living environment and strong reinforcement of the physical rehab and activities staff. The facilities offer a very relaxed atmosphere with open air courtyards,a wonderful, heated pool, and a casual carefree atmosphere. SVS is a great village regardless of ones needs.

Whether you are placing your loved one in the Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing environment, they will be treated with dignity and respect. The staff at SVS truly cares for the residents they serve.

I moved to Scottsdale Village Square July 31, 2018 so I'm relatively new to this facility. Previously, I had spent 14.5 months in a high-rise facility. Coming here I was immediately struck by the openness and beauty of the grounds. The addition of the birdcage is a plus as I stroll to and from the dining room as new babies have arrived and add to the beauty of the already existing crew. The grounds are full of larger birds roaming freely with new babies coming along regularly. A heated swimming pool completes a very appealing picture. I moved into a very clean and newly painted apartment and was able to feel settled and at home within a short period of time. The activities provided here are many and varied so much of the time. I am busy and content; I partake of aquatic exercises, bingo, happy hour with different kinds of music brought in as well as holiday celebrations and provisions for visiting relatives to join us for meals and entertainment. I find myself wishing there were more hours in the day to enjoy the activities and get to know staff and other residents better. I know that will come with time. I am grateful to my family for finding such a nice place for my retirement days.

I give Scottsdale Village Square a five star rating because : after being involved in assisted living and nursing home industry for many years in quite a few states, I can honestly say I have never seen more caring and loving staff and such happy residents as I have seen here. And to know that a loved one would never have to leave the facility because it is an age in place to accommodate all their needs. I am so impressed by the food, activities and amenities this great place provides. Thank you Scottsdale Village Square for the image of excellence you provide, its no wonder you have a five star from Medicare!

My job as the restorative therapist for Scottsdale Village Square is to enhance the Heath, fitness, physical ability and well being of the residents. I feel so blessed to be making a difference in their lives on a daily basis. I often hear both from residents and their loved ones about how much better they feel and function as well as how much enjoyment they receive from the various activities I get to do with them. It is also so wonderful to see how much all of the staff care about their well being, safety, and best interest at all times Often going out of their way, above and beyond the call of duty. From upper management, nursing, and caregivers to maintenance, activities, and kitchen staff, I am constantly impressed.

The care for my mother after her fall was simply outstanding. The staff was kind, gentle, compassionate, and professional. A shout out to LPNs: Erica, Kyla, Alyssa, and Mulatu. They were very nice to me as well during my 24 hour stay. One dark spot, the professionalism of the dinning serving staff could be improved
