Friendly, caring staff. My mother-in-law improved her mental status within her first few weeks there. She loves the activities and the food — worried that she is eating too much. We had been caring for her at home but she was becoming more withdrawn, sleeping more because 2 of us couldn't really keep her engaged full time. I had a not-too-great experience with my parents in another care facility and we were very hesitant, but Amber Creek has been excellent.

I just wanted to share my professional experience regarding Amber Creek Inn Memory Care and the Koelsch Senior Living properties in general. I have worked in the senior placement industry for over 20 years, and since the Koelsch family opened their memory properties in the greater Phoenix Valley, I have been a regular fan and referring partner to them. Amber Creek has provided a wonderful home for a number of families that we have referred to them over the years. There is nothing easier about caring for those who suffer from Alzheimer's disease and other related dementia's, but I so appreciate the good work in the Heartfelt Care my clients have received. Moving a loved one into a memory care facility is extremely difficult. Amber Creek made this transition extremely doable and showed compassion and professionalism. I don't think I could have done this without them. The facility is clean, comfortable, and up scale. I can't say enough for the meals which are superb every day of the week and the staff who care for the residents are professional, caring and available. I highly recommend Amber Creek for anyone looking for compassionate care for a loved one.

As I have been told, finding a memory care facility for your loved one is need driven, not want. When tasked with the impossible of finding a place for my mom, I was overwhelmed and frightened. After touring several facilities, some scarier than others, I found my way to Amber Creek Inn. The staff has been wonderful and comforting, the facility is clean and inviting and Im hopeful before too long, my mom will feel at ease.Dont pass over Amber Creek Inn before deciding on a new place your loved one will call home.

From the moment I stepped into the beautiful lobby and met a few of the compassionate, kind and friendly staff I knew Id found THE place for my parents! Angie was so helpful and answered all of our questions and concerns regarding my parents care, gave us a tour of the facility and made us feel right at home. Due to Covid restrictions we were limited with what we could see but I knew that this would be an amazing place for my parents to spend the rest of their lives together...surrounded by attentive and knowledgeable staff in a relaxed and upscale location.They have only been there for two weeks but it has been almost like heaven for us...my father, who has late stage dementia is flourishing and my mom is making friends and enjoying gardening again. We are treated like family members when we visit and I look forward to the time when restrictions will be lifted and I can spend more time there.I wish I could give them a 10 star rating as I am that happy with Amber Creek and all of the team membersAngie told me the first day...We want you to just be their daughter again and let us take care of the rest...and they are...and I amI highly recommend Amber Creek Inn!

By far, Amber Creek Inn Memory Care Community is the best facility in Arizona if you are looking for a loved one. The facility is beautiful, and the staff is exceptional. There are activities throughout the entire day designed to intrigue and stimulate your loved one, no matter what stage of memory loss they suffer. The food is delicious! (Im not just saying this.) The food is absolutely the best. My dear friend has lived at Amber Creek now for almost three years. He is cared for and pampered by everyone there. What an amazing facility. I cant imagine having him live anywhere else.

Amber Creek is a very special place. My Dad was a resident for several months. He was sad to leave but personal circumstances caused our whole family to relocate. The entire staff is loving and dedicated to the residents no matter how difficult. I was very impressed with their patience and expertise.I am THAT annoying daughter. Yet, with communication and a little patience on my part as they came to know my Dad, Amber Creek exceeded my expectations. My Dad laughed, sang, danced, clapped and finally even cried. Amber Creek supports individuality and emphasizes music therapy along with other stimulating activities. Overall the surroundings are warm, comfortable and bright. My Dad was a loving handful, but he ultimately thrivedAmber Creek is home for an assortment of lively residents with colorful personalities. I enjoyed my visits because of these accomplished, unique individuals and their gracious families. Indeed, my whole family will miss Amber Creek.

My mom was here for 9 months at age 96. The staff was wonderful. I believe it was the best place for her during her last months on earth. She was well taken care of and loved. I visited any time and was always greeted by the friendly caring staff-from Management to Nurses to aides. Highly recommend for peace of mind. Lots to do for all levels of care. Check out Amber Creek before making a decision; I think youll be pleased as I was.

We chose Amber Creek because of the layout of the facility originally. We felt the building would give Carolyn the feeling of freedom and a chance to be involved with functions. We soon found after placing Carolyn that the staff was so outstanding and caring. It was a blessing for us to be able to place Carolyn in such loving and caring hands. The love and attention the staff brought to my loved one was like nothing I have ever seen before. They went out of their way to make sure that not only my loved one but myself as well had everything we could possibly need. Our experience with Amber Creek was wonderful. My father Dick was very happy with his room - very spacious. It was nice that we were able to add some of my dads own furniture. The staff was wonderful to my dad which made use feel so much better. My dad loved that we always brought him cookies which were always available in the entry way. Lisa (main nurse) was so good about letting us know about issues that came up you can tell that she really cares for all the residents . Meadow another nurse was so great to work with , always very kind. I think my dad had 4 gals that mainly took care of him they are all so great. My dad has since passed, but I can say this was the very best place for my dad. Highly recommended!

We love Amber Creek inn. The staff and nurses are exceptional. They saw my father through to the last days of his life. He entered the facility with early stages of dementia and many months later had succumbed to his disease. Amber Creek was there every step of the way. They gave him exceptional care that exceeded me expectations. Very loving and very caring staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone searching for a facility that provides quality care you can trust. I had great peace of mind daily, knowing he was well taken care of. There comes a time in the journey of caring for a loved one that has Alzheimers disease that you need help and its time to look for a care facility. I researched several in my immediate area and decided on Amber Creek in January of 2016. As difficult of a decision that it was for myself and my daughters , we decided it was time. We decided on a room overlooking the beautiful courtyard and have been very pleased. My wife also is Diabetic so the 24 hour nurses care was critical and we have not been disappointed . The nurses care and the care of the staff has been excellent as they are all truly very caring individuals. The facility is brand new and decorated with much detail and is light and bright. We are happy to recommend Amber Creek when you feel that the time is right in your situation. Dan W.

Three days a week, I have the great pleasure of providing to the residents of Amber Creek Inn, music and interactive motion with my fellow accompanist. As a result, the staff, the residents, and their loved ones have become a very special extended family to me. As I spend time at the facility, I have the distinct pleasure, every week and as a volunteer, to observe the nurses and care-givers tending to the needs of the residents - and that care exceeds any five-star rating. The staff are incredibly compassionate, kind, and patient and do their utmost to contribute positively to each very special individual residing there. Alzheimers is a dreadful disease and I often times contemplate what my life would be like in the residents shoes. Inasmuch as I hope that I might be able to avoid this disease someday in my future, if I too am so afflicted, I hope to find myself in the great care and compassion of those working at Amber Creek Inn. If you have a loved-one and are seeking the best in Alzheimers-memory care, it is here where they will ultimately be loved, respected, and beautifully tended to.

My Mother has been a resident since this facility opened . My family and I have been very pleased with her care. We moved to this facility from another Koelsh community in Chandler so that mom could be closer to us. That staff is super friendly and very helpful. The facility is clean and enjoyable to visit! Ive placed my father here for Respite stays on multiple occasions and have nothing but good things to say about the community, activities, food, staff and most importantly the excellent and loving care that my father receives. I have no problems having to leave the state knowing that my father will be in the absolute best care imaginable! While gone on my trips I tend to call very often and am always greeted with a warm and welcome tone over the phone and the nurses are diligent, attentive and know exactly what is going on with my dad. Every time I come to pick him up he always asks me to let him stay as he makes new friends with the residents and staff. I will absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking for Memory Care without hesitation.
