Built from the ground up, the mission of our owner has been tried and true for 20 years serving Anthem. Loving God and Loving people is the bedrock and the foundation of our spirit. There is a large team of us who have the calling of serving! Should you be so fortunate to have your loved ones pampered here, rest assured that you have arrived! Does it mean we're perfect? No. But working here for over 5 years as a RN, we never stop striving to be exceptional! Hope I get the chance to welcome you!

I have known Sam and his family for many years. I have worked at many facilities, and I can share with confidence that your loved one will be met with a owner who spares no expense to pamper his residents. The homes are beautiful but more importantly, they are filled with a spirit of service. Don't hesitate and remember your loved ones deserve the best!

This is a follow up to my February 2023 review. My mother lived at Anthem Senior Manor for the last 14 months until her passing this month. I can only give an emotional and heart felt thank you to Sam and his staff for taking such loving care of mom. They exceeded every expectation. Senior care is truly their calling.

We needed Dad to be closer to us than the 13 hour drive to CA would allow especially when his health suddenly took a turn. But where to find a lovely home environment with care givers who would genuinely embrace our loved one with patience, thoughtful encouragement, tasty meals and reliable assistance on a daily basis? Fortuitously enough my husband heard of Anthem Senior Manor several months ago and after speaking with Sam about our Dad's then current health status, toured the residence twice in a day, and realized that ASM would be ideal for our circumstance. But how to implement this momentous decision ? During the ensuing two weeks, Sam got to know more about our loved one and his status, and then skillfully walked us through our worries and endless questions. He put us in touch with a talented support team that would arrange for and manage the Medical Transport. Additionally, Sam introduced us to the professionals in Palliative and Hospice care who would direct Dad's medical needs going forward. Within a week we knew there was plan that could make Dad's move from hospital bed in CA to his new room and home in AZ happen very quickly... like overnight, literally ! Yippee!! Prayers being answered: Dad would be all the more comfortable and compassionately attended to on a daily basis. And Bonus for us: Anthem Senior Manor was just 30 minutes from our home !! Feeling blessed !! Sam truly was a God sent at a time when our family was swimming in worry and indecision to present a viable and thoughtful plan for Dad. Thanks to him, we were able to confidently make this loving decision for Dad. The "grand adventure" took place without a hitch or a worry overnight between March 31 and April 1. Now fast forward to Dad's arrival at the Manor. We were thrilled when Dad was rolled into the grand room looking all fresh and dapper. He had arrived an hour before us - greeted by staff, handed a cup of decaf, fed a favorite breakfast, showered shaved groomed and dressed, and presented to us anew !! After a brief tour of his new home, (loved the putting green), he was lifted by two persons into a cushy recliner in front of a large TV !! And we both teared up!! Our Dad hadn't be seated in a chair since his first stroke the end of July 2023 !! Wow !! Thank you all for your kindness and playfulness with your newly arrived Cowboy resident! Carlos, Tracey and the rest of the team, we are so grateful !! And special thanks to Sam and Tracey for your inquisitiveness and genuine thoughtfulness during those first hours... helping us unpack Dad's things and offering to hang photos for us. We enjoyed sharing stories about Dad's "life well lived" and putting names to faces from family photos. [A very clever way to get to know more about their newest resident, Sam and Tracey !! 😉 While driving home, we sighed a few times and reassured each other that our loved one deserved to be in this great place. We arrived home relaxed and confident Dad will thrive in the care of this lovely community at Anthem Senior Manor. Long story short... We offer the highest marks to Anthem Senior Manor: Our family and the Cowboy's friends in Cathey's Valley bestow handfuls of feathers to fluff all y'all's beautiful angel wings! A thousand thank you's, Ally and Brad Lozares PS. We truly enjoy ASM's wheelchair access van !! Dad is thrilled to know it's possible to come back at our home for favorite meal, a visit with friends or family members when they come to Scottsdale !!

If you're looking for a beautiful home with loving and caring staff, this is the place. I could tell immediately that my loved one was in the best of hands. Ownership and staff continue to impress me with their professionalism and kindness. They are so attentive, thoughtful, and exhibit so much compassion for their residents and their families. Anthem Senior Housing has been such a huge blessing!

Unfortunately my father spent over 5 years in assisted living homes so I have seen some good ones and some not so good ones. Please take it from me that THE ONLY place I would ever consider my parents (or God forbid me if the time came) staying in would Anthem Senior Manor. Tracey and Sam are so wonderful to work with and they truly care. My mom tells me all the time that the staff is so good to her and the food is fantastic that she feels like she is living in a resort. I cannot recommend them enough and we are blessed to have found them.

Anthem Senior Manor is just a blessing for our family. We know that Dad is being extremely well taken care of and it's a family atmosphere. We celebrated Dad's 89th Birthday will all his friends and family and he was so Happy..... definitely highly recommend

Anthem Senior Manor has thus far met and exceeded our expectations. Our concerns and stressors regarding our Father's relocation from Texas to Arizona dissipated rapidly as we embarked on the facility. Sam and the entire staff truly cherish their home and all residents involved. As Dad has settled in we continue to be impressed and grateful. He is assisted with any needs necessary while still maintaining his privacy and dignity. The staff's focus on nutrition and hydration has certainly been appreciated by my sister and I as for we realize its importance regarding the overall health of our loved ones. My father has been in Sam's homes for 4 years and couldn't be happier. When a spot opened up in the newest home, Anthem Senior Manor, Sam graciously moved him to provide him with more male companionship. I am very picky when it comes to choosing the appropriate care environment for our seniors. The owners Sam and Tracy are hands on in the care of all their residents. They spoil them all.

In February of 2023, I reluctantly had to admit that I could no longer keep my mother safe at my home. After an exhaustive search, she moved into Anthem Senior Manor. The property is beautiful and speaks for itself. Sam and his staff have been amazing. The staff genuinely cares about mom and have been very patient with me as I have learned to let go of her care. I feel that mom is home.

Sam and his team were kind enough to give me a sneak peek of this place and I have to say I CANNOT WAIT for the launch of this beautiful home! Every detail of this place is carefully thought out and planned with so much love for Seniors. The beautiful and spacious private suites provide a sense of tranquility and comfort from floor to ceiling. The common areas are bright and open! The backyard and patios are absolutely beautiful, so welcoming and fun for families and friends who I'm certain won't want to leave! They thought of everything to make seniors thrive in the comfort of this beautiful home. Just call ahead and ask for a private tour and even reserve a room in advance so you don't miss out because this place will fill up very quickly!

I rarely leave reviews on places for the simple fact that I just don't have time! I was convicted to go out of my way for this 5 Star Assisted Living Home in Anthem because after 1 year of taking care of my mom, I lay my head down every night knowing that mom is safe and in good hands. The team at ASR is the best I've seen, and I've personally visited every assisted living facility in Anthem. They are so accomodating, professional and very knowledgeable! I can't thank them enough!

Anthem Senior Retreat is the best care home in Arizona. The residents receive tailored care to their needs. Best of all, it is a loving home for my Mom. Everybody treats her with love and kindness and she is not alone but around other people her age. The meals are fantastic and always make the whole home smell wonderful!! The home is a beautiful place to be and I am always so happy to bring her back to her home after an outing. The caregivers welcome her with open arms and she is loved at her home!! She spends her days around people and with activities that are perfect for her. I am so grateful for Anthem Senior Retreat and the peace of mind that I have knowing that my Mom is cared for and loved is priceless!!
