I’d like to thank Windsong at Southridge for their compassion and care for my dad Richard Miller in his final days. I can’t say enough about the loving care all the staff showed 24 hours a day. All the caregivers deserve the highest praise. Thank you all for loving dad. Our family is forever grateful. ❤️

When the time came that dad needed more care we are so glad we chose WindSong. Their activities and social interaction enhanced his quality of life and provided a safe place where he belonged. We appreciate the staff and leadership for their work and professional care.

I have found the Montessori approach is absolutely the greatest for individuals with Alzheimer’s. I highly recommend you at least take a tour if you have a loved one in need of care.

Things started off great, but as time went on it became plain to see that the people running the place don't care about the residents who live there. The care staff were mostly kind caring people who want to help others, but recently many were driven away by the management. The communication is nonexistent, the pictures they take of or the residents family are fake, and when you make a complaint about manager not doing their job or not caring about the residents, nothing changes. It is easy work and and there is plenty of downtime

My mother has lived at WindSong at Southridge for six months and I could not be happier! Especially during this pandemic, WindSong had given Mom days full of activities and fun. I love how they are continually giving back to the community through their many fundraising events. The staff is wonderful and I recommend it anyone looking for memory care for their loved one.

The work is easy and helping people is always fulfilling. The management need a total overhaul. Any complaint or suggestion for improvement is ignored and they will retaliate against you. I worked in the kitchen and heard stories about managers locking their residents in rooms during tours. They don't provide the choice they say they do. Theres only half a dozen people that participatein any activity they might hold. Everyone eats the same thing at the same time no options for something different. They will put on a show to keep the residents families from taking money away from them. The pictures thay take for resident families are faked (hold this and I'll take a picture). Unfortunately they management has driven off a lot of good caring CNAs because of their poor communication and lack of care. My manager never did his work and got upset when I complained about it and felt the need to get upset over anything and everything afterwards. I feel bad for the residents, at least there are some good cnas still there that do care.

This facility is NOT a 5 star. Hi, former employee here. They have almost no staff for their 25 residents in the community already open. They claim to be Montessori, however they only do that for the public and for pictures. Clinically, this place is a train wreck. CNAs will report changes to HSD and a couple weeks later they’ll be in the hospital dying. Very much a “band aid” company and I left because I couldn’t sit and watch it anymore. The cook goes around being very aggressive about sharing his sex life. And the resident care coordinator could care less about the actual well being of residents and staff. Only covering managements butt to make sure they’re state compliant.

My Mother recently moved to Windsong at Southridge. I cant say enough about the positive impact Windsong has had on Moms quality of life. The staff is outstanding in their interaction with Mom and the other residents. The Montessori approach has brought smiles back to her face and revived her desire to take part in daily activities. Gardening was a huge part of Moms life. Knowing this, the staff had a planter box ready for Mom when she moved in. The personalized care is outstanding and I would encourage families searching for care for their loved ones check out Windsong.

I have recently moved my Grandmother into Windsong at Southridge. We are very happy with staff and how well they are doing in keeping the residence safe during this difficult time. The staff has been extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs with my Grandma. The Montessori Based Dementia care method has been very helpful for Grandma because it keeps her mind active and keeps her busy.
