I’ve lived here for 3 years, and today was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had! I want to give a huge shoutout to Daniel from maintenance and Lesli, the apartment manager. Daniel was working alone, and Lesli jumped right in to help him install my brand-new microwave. I’ll admit, I can be a pain sometimes ” and I definitely can’t live without a microwave ” but within 48 hours, they had a brand-new one installed for me. Daniel, thank you for cleaning up afterward and being so professional. Lesli, thank you for stepping in to help and for showing that no job is too small. I have lived here for almost five years. I am VERY pleased with the facilities, management, and activities provided. We have an "-upgraded" Fitness center, with just the right amount of work out equipment. The maintenance team does a wonderful job, responding to our requests within a 48 hour period. This is an INDEPENDENT SENIOR LIVING FACILITY, therefore, overall it's very peaceful. THANK YOU PARKLAND MANOR for all you do to keep your tenants happy. It is a very nice place to live for seniors...however, the carpet is very worn in our apartment and an eye sore to visitors as well... especially at the elevators entry...it is spotty, and in dire need of being replaced or thoroughly cleaned...as such, and in some other senior facilities, a small store would be nice to have in the building to buy necessary needed items etc...overall we love it here and hope our message will be considered.

I have visited this place a lot of times. The parking is horrible at night just like other apartments. Sometimes it smells like green rubbing alcohol however the place is clean. It’s made exactly like a hotel on the inside. They are inside doors - let me also say the building is secure! There is even a receptionist desk. I know that they offer different events & even food on a couple of occasions. ** walls are thin as paper lol but seriously I can hear the neighbors talk, cough, tv heck I even heard someone yawning. I’ve never smelled anyone cooking which is good. Honestly, I couldn’t live there I value my privacy & I don’t want to hear any thing from my neighbors

My apt was clean upon moving in with condiments waiting for me. The people I have encountered here have been nice and pleasant and very helpful. Quick to welcome you. I moved to Parkland Manor in April of this year. I do not regret this move. I have been given the utmost Respect and professional attention in any given situation. I am impressed with the care of the facility and the grounds throughout the complex. To further elucidate the professionalism of Parkland Manor Staff, I will begin with the maintenance staff, Especially the Supervisor, Ben who, once you submit a job request you are given an immediate response to address the problem.For Example, July was a brutal month for extreme heat temperatures and air conditioners breaking down. I know I was not the only resident having problems However, Ben was on the scene trying to fix my problem as well as many others in the complex. we just had to be patient until he could fix the problem as he was the only air conditioning expert. He was here on the property well into the night trying meet our needs. He deserves much deserved recognition for he never complained, he always came with a smile and a calm professional additude. If he tells you what and when he is always true to his word.Some problems were beyond his control so he had to call for outside professionals. They too were very professional and respectful of my home. I was impressed once again. My sister came to visit for a weekend and she too was impressed with the care and attentiveness displayed to make a very hot apartment cool. Needless to say it was a success. Ben you are awesome!! and I thank you for all that you did for me during that month. Many Kudos to Ms Teresa who made sure Maintenance got messages and followed up on the delivery of maintenance services just before my sister arrived from out of state. There was a time when I called emergency line to report my air conditioner wasn't working at 3:00 am. I don't know what happened but Ms Teresa called me back immediately. I felt bad because I didn't expect her to answer but she did and of course, I could tell my call awakened her. Even in that moment she was pleasant and professional and she called me back. She told me the day I got my sister from airport ,that she will make sure tthat I have a cooler apartment Her words "I got you" don't worry. Many Kudos to Ms Taran who as Property Manager I have witnessed her mopping hallway floor and periodically touring building checking on things.Which tells me she cares. I am greatly impressed that we have housekeeping on Mondays to vacuum and sanitize elevators floors, etc. I'm very happy living at Parkland Manor. To all The Staff; Ms Taran, Ms Teresa, Ben, I am always grateful for all that you do. If no one else appreciates you, I Do!! Geraldine C.

Parkland Manor is a well maintained and welcoming environment in Austell, GA. My mother has been a resident at the Austell location for 4 years and she is more than satisfied with the staff. Ms. Teryn Brown did an excellent job taking care of the residents during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021. Ms. Teryn Brown limited the number of visitors allowed in Parkland Manor during the pandemic and she invited medical professionals to administer the Covid-19 vaccination for residents interested in receiving the vaccine. Overall, my mother has felt safe and has enjoyed her time at Parkland Manor over the years. Thank you.

I have nothing but great things to say about my wonderful place to live. I've only been here for seven months. However, from the moment I visited with an interest in living here, the reception was so warm and welcoming. Once I made my online application and was subsequently approved, the helpfulness and professionalism extended by the management team was exceptional. Two days prior to my move in date i fell and severely broke my dominant wrist. I had to rely on my family to complete my packing and conduct my move. When I arrived at the apartments and Ms. Sharon saw my predicament EVERYTHING from that point until now makes me know that finding this apartment with this management was truly a blessing. When you know the Lord for yourself, you recognize His hand in your life. Ms. Teryn and Ms. Sharon and let me introduce Cory our magnificent professional Our property management team go above and beyond to ensure that the residents here have not only their needs but their wants that can bet reasonably met fully taken of. Never once have I encountered them and not be greeted with a smile, kind word, helpful gesture, and pure professionalism. Now let me give some roses to Cory. I knew him before I actually knew him. The first time I came to Parkland Manor to see if they had vacancies, I met him outside. I observed him assisting a resident off the curb and then he hurried over and assisted me with opening the door. All the while smiling and greeting everyone he encountered. At a later date when I came to do a walk through of a vacant unit, as we walked through the facility, I observed him while working on a fixture in a hallway smiling and greeting and offering assistance to residents as they passed. Once I became a resident during my travels to and from doctor visits, my surgery, and subsequent therapy, whenever I see Cory working or speaking with a coworker, contractor, or resident, I have observed him take time to greet with a smile, excuse himself to hold the elevator or open a door to be of assistance. When I have had to place a maintenance request Cory has shown up and apologizes for the mishap and then not conducts the repair or replace; but, he does an exceptional job with cleaning behind his work and offering to do a follow-up, if needed. I know this review is long winded, but I have to shine a superior light on the management team her at Parkland Manor. To work in a service delivery environment requires a particular, might I say, special skillset. My experiences with our property manager, Ms. Teryn Brown, assistant property manager, Ms. Sharon (who took another position), and Cory shows that they take pride in the work and service that they provide to the residents. My family and I all rave about how great it is living here. My kids are happy that I am very happy with where I live. We speak so highly of Parkland Manor and the staff that I have family and friends always asking me for contact information so they can experience the peace that I share with them. I STRONGLY recommend Parkland Manor as a wonderful place to live. . .

Moved my mother from NC when my father passed and my mother and I couldn't have chosen a better place. She moved to Parkland Manor in 2008 and now 13 yrs. later she's still happy as she was the first day she moved in. Seeing how pleased my mother has been; now my mother in-law and uncle have moved to Parkland Manor as well and loves calling Parkland Manor their home. The staff has been wonderful and always so accommodating in helping with what ever my mother needs are rather it's getting something done or answering a simple question she's always welcomed with open arms. That's just how special the staff makes you feel. Teryn has been great and does a wonderful job with taking care of Parkland Manor and the residents there. I would suggest Parkland Manor to any Senior looking to downsize but still want privacy but not feel like your alone because you actually have your own little community of friends. I moved here from NC almost 6 yrs ago and love the location most of all. Most of the popular stores are within 5 miles. 2 Krogers, 2 Publixs, 3 Walmarts, 3 Walgreens, Target, Kohls and so many more. A tons of doctor's offices and a Wellstar hospital are just blocks away which helped me start over with continuing my medical care. The apartments are nice and the staff are very friendly and personal.

As far as I'm concerned, This is a great place to live. I have lived here at Parkland manor going into my 11th year and still I chose this place. One of the greatest things that happened here, when the pandemic first hit in our state. Oh boy guess what Mrs. Taryn Brown and our coordinator Ms. Virgin Ward did to help us? they pulled together resources to help everyone here so that no one would be with out help. no matter what obstacle that came up they pushed through to get help for us. oh my to be able to believe in management and staff with the help of Father God is a plus from then until now it is still a joy to live here. to be able to come together and have a hot breakfast, hot coffee and a sweetie yum yum and then have great conversation with other tenants. If your are looking for a great place to enjoy life think about moving to Parkland manor your new home will put a smile on your face !!

My mother has lived in the apartment for 4+years. She is 89 1/2 years young. She has had an ongoing problem with the wash machine were the 'nobe' has been replaced 5 times. They are now telling her they will not accept this months rent unless she pays $100+repair cost. I have not been able to speek to the manager because I have been advised she is out of town for the last two weeks. My mother should not have to pay for this repair. Please advise!!

My elderly mother lived there for four years. I called the management office only a few times over the years for different things and never got a return phone call, I always had to drive to the office to speak to someone. Their excuses for not calling me back was always they didn't understand my voicemail. Whenever my mother asked for something they were EXTREMELY rude to her. She would call me crying and very upset. The facility is nice but the staff makes it a horrible home. I would not recommend this community to anyone!!!!!
