The staff in AL and memory care went above and beyond to care for my dad for about 18 months. Jackie. Andrew. Araceli. Emma. Chris the chef. Joy. They are the ONLY reason for the 5 star review. The management company and director would get ZERO stars. She refused to consider negotiating price keep him there for continuity of care. They cared more about making money. So, sadly, we had to move him.

I'm a transitional care consultant in San Antonio so I tour a lot of senior living communities. Franklin Park Alamo Heights is one of the few I confidently recommend to families. The place is beautifully maintained, clean, and inviting the second you walk in. Spacious apartments, great food, real activities happening throughout the day. Residents seem genuinely happy there. What sets it apart for me is Lauren Rodriguez, the Sales & Marketing Director. Lauren is fantastic. Knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy. She goes out of her way to make sure families understand their options and feel confident about their decision. I've brought her some complicated cases and she's handled every one with care and follow-through. She'll spend as much time on a tour as a family needs, and she actually circles back after the visit, which is rare. If Franklin Park is on your list, ask for Lauren. She'll take great care of you.

The staff at Franklin Park Alamo Heights Assisted Living have truly gone above and beyond in caring for my mom. She recently had surgery for an ongoing issue, and we were concerned about the level of support she might need”especially going into the weekend after a Friday procedure. Jackie, the Assisted Living Director, and her team were incredibly proactive. They made sure Home Health was already coordinated and ready before the surgery, and there was thoughtful follow-up by the care team throughout the weekend to make sure everything went smoothly. That kind of preparation and care gave our family such peace of mind. We’re so grateful for Jackie and her team”not just for this recent experience, but for the ongoing compassion and attention they show to my mom every day. They are a blessing to our family.

My parents live here in independent living for close to a year and love it. The community has been so welcoming and kind. The front desk staff have become my friends. I actually like the food very much and appreciate the restaurant style atmosphere and wait staff who know the residents and are patient and warm. The cleanliness and design of the common areas is beautiful and uplifting. The activities are well planned. As a family, we couldn’t be happier with our decision for them to be at Franklin Park where they have both social connection and autonomy.

I don’t want to disclose everything, but I believe State needs to come in for their annual review on this place. I have a family member currently there, that’s not receiving their meds on time. She has reported it to the Staff there numerous times, and nothing seems to ever get done about it. She has chronic pain and needs to have her pain meds on time, along with her sleep meds. I’m a Nurse myself, so this is a bit concerning to me. I have also advocated for her as well.

My uncle lives at Franklin Park Alamo Heights and I cannot believe how amazing this community is to their residents! They have wonderful staff that really get to know them like family. My uncle said he wishes he would have moved there sooner because life has become so much more enjoyable for him. His favorite thing to do is treat us to a wonderful meal in the dining room and the food is truly delicious. There are many items to choose from and everything is made fresh! He is now more active than he's ever been and we know when the time comes, he will feel very comfortable transitioning to the Assisted Living side. Thank you Franklin Park for taking such good care of my uncle.

I’ve been living at Franklin Park Alamo Heights for a year now. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’m money ahead from owning and maintaining a house, much less all the money for food, maintenance, transportation, etc. I’ve traveled extensively, the food her is as good as any restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. I consider the staff to all be my friends, which says a lot. I’m in the smallest one bedroom unit, and it’s a delight. It’s better than any apartment I’ve lived in, in my 78 years. I can’t say enough about how happy I , and my dog, like this place.
