How to Select the Right Senior Living Community in Hawaii
Although you may want a facility in Hawaii that is close to home, this shouldn’t be your only criteria as you look for a senior living community. Take the time to learn about the community, and find out how accessible a primary care physician will be. You will want to know how close the senior living community is to a hospital, and what sort of transportation is offered.
Ranking The Best Assisted Living Facilities in Hawaii
Our research into Hawaii senior living communities is thorough, and we look carefully at the Hawaii Department of Public Health records to make sure each facility we have in our directory does not have major violations or complaints against it. We read online reviews to find out what previous residents and family members thought of the facility. We take into consideration the affordability of the facility, and amenities offered.
The median monthly cost of assisted living facilities throughout Hawaii is $5,500. This money will pay for all of your meals, laundry services, housekeeping, and your overall housing needs. Additional care needs, such as medication reminders, nursing care, or memory care, are all optional and will cost extra.
