My brother and I would like to express out heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Westside for the excellent care our Mom receives. We'd like to specifically mention Jackie, Moms social worker, who has gone above and beyond to be a wonderful advocate for our Mom. She is professional, kind and always there to help us as a family to navigate through the challenges we've faced with the decision of putting her in a nursing facility. Jackie has given my brother and I a sense of peace and comfort in knowing she is cared for everyday. Thank you Jackie for being so awesome and to all the staff for caring for our Mom. My mother in law lives here. It’s beautiful and the staff is great. The staff goes above and beyond to help. She lived in her own apartment in the beginning and now lives in assisted area. Excellent place ! It’s been tough to see my Saint of a Mom go down hill. We couldn’t have picked a better place to put her at. The whole place is hard working and friendly staff. Thank God for Westside during this difficult period . The directors (Ashley) and all staff work so hard to accommodate everyone. They’ve been helping us with each move we’ve made.

My mother lives in Independent Living at this Westside Garden Plaza and it is wonderful. She loves her apartment and the staff. They go out of their way to be sure she has everything she needs. It's been hard for the residents during Covid, but the people there are very accommodating. I have never been worried about my Mom's well-being while she's been here. The director there, Marque McKinnor, is amazing. He takes phone calls and answers emails very promptly and keeps an eye out for my Mom during these difficult times. I would highly recommend this place. Please don’t get this facility confused with Westside Village Nursing Center. They are under the same roof, but not the same facility or affiliated. I wouldn’t take a dog to the nursing facility. It’s awful. The independent living side is amazing.

Westside Gardens has an incredible dedicated staff to their residents. All of the staff treat the residents as if they were their own family members. Every time I walk into Westside Gardens, it is always what can we do for our residents. If you are looking for a new home for your love one, I hope you give this community a chance.

Very nice "resort" as Mom calls it. Mgt and staff have been courteous and do their best to accommodate all. Communication during the pandemic has been strong as well. When we could, we would have brunch every Sunday there to say, "hi" to the regulars and have a good meal. Very worthwhile for my 12 year old to interact with the gang as well. All in all, a great to place to live and visit!

After 3 years residing at WGP I've come to appreciate how special this family oriented community has meant to my continued good health, welfare and living amenities. My parents reside at the Bridge, assisted living, for just over a year. The public areas are beautifully decorated and inviting. The rooms are a bit bland and lack character. The staff are incredible and communicate any changes. It's a peace of mind knowing they are well cared for.

22 Covid positive residents (at best approximation, under 85 residents currently occupy building); 2 confirmed Covid deaths (4 suspected); [Information as of December 16, 2020, Westside Garden Plaza Indianapolis Indiana Independent Living (IL) building.] [Information doesnt include remaining part of campus including Bridge at Westside Garden (Assisted Living) or Westside Village Nursing Center buildings.] Independent and Assisted Living buildings managed by Century Park PA of Tennessee and nursing home by Life Care Centers of America, of which both companies are related. Thankfully, Century Park PA vows a complete veil of transparency! Very sad situation and am uncertain if Indiana Department of Health directly knows of circumstance other than simple weekly update. Independent Living does not report to Indiana Department of Health or to their dashboard. Troubling!

Since we moved our loved one in October the care and attitudes from the staff have greatly improved. The new director is involved in the daily care and is seen throughout the halls. The staff are more helpful and greet you when they see you. MUCH improved! MUCH more pleasant!

We have been very pleased with The Bridge at Westside Gardens. The staff know my mother and engage her in activities which she really needs. The facility is clean and bright. I know my mom is safe.

Since Joshua has become the new director of the facility things are getting much better. He listens and does follow up and does what he says he is going to do. Still work needs to be done with staffing attitudes and work ethics.

I cant say much about the housing treatment but I can say this place is absolutely beautiful. You cant help but feel at peace when youre there because both the interior and exterior have such a relaxing air. I went there for a meeting and everyone was so nice and warming.

My parents moved into Westside Garden Plaza a little over a month ago and I cant begin to tell you what a difference this has made in their lives. My parents continually report (and I ask often!!) that the staff is remarkably kind and that their call light is answered in a reasonable amount of time. They are rarely in their apartment when I come to visit as they are taking advantage of and enjoying the MANY activities that are available. They are meeting new people every day and are happier and more fulfilled than they have been for some time. The team at Westside has been wonderfully responsive to all of our needs and helped us problem solve every step of the move as well as manage ongoing care. I looked long and hard before deciding on Westside Garden Plaza and have not regretted my choice for one moment. It is a beautiful place with compassionate and dedicated caregivers.

My parents have lived at Westside for about 5 years. It has greatly improved their quality of life. I would also say it has extended their life by simple things such as making sure they are taking the right medication at the right time. I understand this place is not perfect. No place is. If you want to find things to complain about, you can find them. But if you look for what I consider to be the key, important things you will see a core staff that is dedicated and incredibly compassionate. Most of the staff loves the residents and treats them like family. I have seen the staff go out of their way to do whatever they can to improve the lives of residents. Many even spend some time with residents when they are not getting paid. Here are some examples of things that I think are great. We were able to rent a party room and have some catering for my Dad's 90th birthday party. My 80yo uncle could rent a room (for cheaper than a hotel) in the facility so he could spend more time visiting with my parents. Last night a 3 piece band came in and played music of the generation of the residents. It was incredible to watch the elderly people sway and dance to the music of their youth, they were enthralled. I live 2,000 miles away and only visit about 3x per year. The operations manager knows me and he ALWAYS checks in with me during a visit so see if my parents need anything of if he can help. My parents have struggled to do their own laundry so they can add that additional service (for a fee but at least they have that option). I ordered some crab to be delivered to my parents overnight. The chef saw the shipment get delivered to the front and place it in his refrigerator so it would not spoil in case my parents were not at home. I think this place is a great place and a good value but you should check it out for yourself. Take a tour, talk to the staff and see for yourself. Also talk to the residents. Then decide.

I spent two weeks in temporary (transitional care section) staff was attentive caring and friendly. Meals were hit or miss good. Extremely impressed with rehabilitation staff. the premises through out the entire facility were always clean, PT Staff was excellent. My PT therapist, GIGI was very attentive and caring. I had a long term relationship. I chose Westside after seeing how well my late mother-in-law was cared for and treated by staff before her passing.

Cody was great love the facility it was nice and was clean and didn't smell staff was friendly. Kind of pricey but with all the activities and amenities I guess you had to make up for it somewhere seriously thinking about it

I love this place. My father suffers from Parkinson's. The boxing class has he takes there (and doesn't even live there) has given him back his balance and ability to move again. Westside has a strong community presence, always thinking about how they can serve the community better. I'm so thrilled with the management and friendliness too! Thank you Westside Garden Plaza!
