Just a shoutout to Leticia, med lady, and Izaiah, at the front desk. My 91-year old cousin has been at Juniper for about a month, and I visit several times a week. I always see the two aforementioned employees, at different times during the day. They're always smiling, they're always helpful, no matter what time of the day it is. Juniper is a super busy place, yet they always have a cheery greeting. Thanks, Leticia and Izaiah, for making me feel welcome. P.S. my cousin loves it there!

I previously lived in Austin at another assisted living community for several years. I made the decision to move to San Antonio to Juniper Village at Lincoln Heights. It was the best decision I've made in a long time. This is a joyful place. The staff is very kind and caring and the residents are too! If you aren't smiling when you arrive, you will be soon. I hope if you're looking for a place for yourself or a loved one, you'll seriously consider Juniper Village! THIS THE ONE!

This is the 2nd stay at Juniper Village. The 1st time I was here was after my hip replacement in 2022. It was such an amazing experience that when I went to the surgeon for my recent knee replacement I asked him immediately if I could return to Juniper for rehab because I knew exactly what to expect. I have had a great deal of physical therapy and this has been the very best!! The food has been gourmet and one is able to select from a menu at the beginning of each month. There are always various scheduled activities organized by the activities director. It was meaningful to me that they had church services weekly due to my faith. It is such a warm environment thanks to all of the dedicated staff members! I'm grateful for all of the lovely friendships I have made!

Coming into the facility I was quiet surprised buy the quality and quantity of options that juniper servers in their dining department. The evening that I arrived I was served tuna salad on wheat bread and was amazed and thought it was quiet delicious. The care has been very attentive to my needs. Therapy has been good and considerate with my daily limits. Overall my experience I would recommend to anyone in need of care.

I feel very safe and comfortable at Juniper Village. I have made many friends. The community feels like home. I stay busy daily with many activities. Staff is very easy to talk to and everyone is helpful. The location is also easy for my family to visit.

Melissa did an amazing job getting our father into Juniper in record time. We were in an emergency situation, new to the area, and she expedited his admission. Her can do attitude made it happen! He has received great care and we know hes in good hands.

My Dad was at this facility for a few years, until he required more nursing care. I was generally happy with the staff and the property was always clean.

My mother has been recovering there for five months. The place is clean everywhere, including rooms, showers, and dining area. The staff communicates well with patients and families. Every time I walk in, nursing provides an update of my mom's status. Everyone is compassionate and acts as if my mom was their only patient. In addition to all that, the food is high quality, tasty and nutritious. If you are lucky enough to score a bed at this place, take it.

When people ask how my mom is doing since she moved to Brookdale Alamo Heights, I can honestly say, "She's happy". It seems to me that she is happier now that she has been in a long time. She told us yesterday that she has much less stress than when she was living at home. She tells us often that she likes the food, the people, the activities, and her room is just perfect for her.

I loved Brookdale at Alamo Heights. I cared for my father at home until He was too sick for me to care for. At Brookdale he was treated respectfully and kindly. He was always clean snd shaved and his room was clean. He loved the Nurses Aid that cared for him daily. The staff was friendly and caring and always greeted my family warmly and kindly. They cried with me when he died. I could not have asked for a better experience.

I am a resident here and I think it deserves 4 stars. By the way, our apts. are what we make of it - cozy and comfortable or very bland and not welcoming. After all, our personality should show through! I do appreciate that Brookdale is not a Nursing home but our home.
