How to Stay Connected with Loved Ones In Senior Living Communities
While our parents might have grown up with rotary phones, many facilities now offer the latest technologies for keeping in touch. Staying connected with loved ones should be fast and simple with free WiFi. Residents can call loved ones or enjoy video calls via Zoom or Facetime.
Ranking The Best Senior Living Facilities in Mississippi
Our ranking protocols are not based on the popularity and extra amenities offered by a community. Instead, our rankings are built on online reviews, affordability, incidences of state violations as reported by the Mississippi State Department of Health, online reviews, and essential amenities provided.
Mississippi has one of the lowest costs for assisted living, averaging $3,500 per month. Housing, meals, basic services and amenities are included. If much more care is needed, memory care and skilled nursing is a better choice, but costs much more. We did our best to find and rank communities that are competitively priced. A community is only good if you can afford to live there.

What residents and loved ones have to say about Beau Ridge:
We are very thankful for the loving and caring staff in Beau Ridges memory care. They have lovingly and competently cared for my grandfather for two years now. Its difficult to place the care of your loved one in someone else’s hands, but we could not be happier with the care he receives at BR. The staff, under Debbie’s direction, truly cares about their residents and that is hard to find in many other places.

What residents and loved ones have to say about The Pinnacle of Southaven:
My mother was a resident in the memory care unit here for five months. Just a month after arriving at Hermitage Gardens of Southaven, Mom was diagnosed with a terminal illness. With the added care of a hospice agency, she was able to remain at Hermitage Gardens until her death. Through those four months of illness, the staff at HG continued to take care of Moms needs kindly and gently and with dignity. They made sure she was eating and drinking enough, took care of her personal hygiene, and kept bedclothes and bed linens clean and changed once she was confined to bed. When Mom reached her last days and my sisters and I were with her round-the-clock, the staff stepped in and took care of us with coffee and breakfast and whatever we needed. They were also our first comforters at Moms death and we will never forget them.

What residents and loved ones have to say about The Magnolia at Oxford Commons:
Our Mother was very comfortable at The Blake for a year and 1-2. The activities and conveniences were exceptional. Everything was in house including PT, hairdressing, and meals if needed delivered to her room. The staff was very professional and gave her great care which we appreciated very much. Would recommend The Blake to anyone, needing that care.
