I appreciate the staff and what they go through every day. My mom is difficult to deal with and they are doing everything they can to work with her dementia. Very friendly environment and family oriented.

From her first day at Wellington, Mom was well loved and cared for. She was happy, participating in all the activities, trips, meals and friendships offered. She brought her plants and staff helped her with gardening. She was able to continue participating in her weekly Rummikub Club by inviting her friends to Wellington to have breakfast and then play. We spent lots of time with Mom at Wellington. She had all her favorite furnishings there and was safe and comfortable. We sat outside for hours on the front or back patios watching deer, geese, killdeer, and sandhill cranes. At the end of Mom's life the staff were as compassionate and gentle as anyone could be. I can't say enough good about our Wellington experience.

My Sister in Law was a resident for about 10 months, 7 of those were during the pandemic. The care and understanding from the staff towards the residents and their family was amazing. With all the extra effort required by staff to keep everyone, entertained, active, feed, and healthy, the staff remained positive and upbeat. My husband and myself were comforted to know Tootie was in excellent hands when we could not be there. We would recommend trusting your loved ones to the care at Wellington Place.

I have worked with this facility for a number of years and find their care to be exemplary. The culture of the facility is very caring and very friendly. As a Former State Surveyor for healthcare facilities, I would go here first if I needed Assisted Living.

Caring staff. They treat the residents like family. My Mom is well taken care of, gives me peace of mind. Facility recently remodeled, kept very clean. Quick to reply to my emails and answer any questions that arise. A hidden gem in Hartford

It is like one big family at Wellington Place - Hartford. I was enjoying visiting and seeing all the residents, not just my own family member. I like that they do so many activities. Making Christmas cookies, arts and crafts and physical activities too!

We stopped by for trick or treating with our newborn to say hi! The staff and residents were very welcoming and happy to see us! Everyone was in good spirits and in the holiday mood. Thank you for letting us come by.

My mom is a resident. They are so well cared for no falls residents are payed attention to the activity director really involves all residents which is so important for there minds and well being. The staff really cares about these residents and familys are involved in all care. I worked in a nursing home as a nurse and saw staff so over worked and under staffed many falls and never had enough time to spend with them not here. I live up north and I know that my mom is well taken care of. I do wish someone or some group could donate a wheelchair van so the staff could get the residents out to functions more. People are always donating to causes that dont affect someones life. This van would change the quality of life for many seniors. Thank you Wellington for taking such good care of my mom
