My very resistant dad has adjusted to Brookdale Vancouver Stonebridge amazingly. The Executive Director and the Director were extremely helpful with our very difficult decision to move him there. Pricing is very reasonable comparatively, and their spend down is 1 year as opposed to almost 100% of the other facilities in the area at 3 years. They have kept us informed about how dad is doing and are always positive. Dad seems happy, participates in activities and says he likes the food. The staff say he is a joy to have around!

I can say that moving my dad in here was one of the best decisions I've made.. I was very nervous about putting my dad in a home, I made an appointment and was told a ton of good information and was shown around the place.. The rooms come with there own bathroom, that was important to my dad. My dad's not a very social guy and normally keeps to himself. At first it took him a little while to get use to his new surroundings, now he's happier than I've seen in a long time. He's made a few friends and tells me how nice the staff is. It makes my heart glow when I come in and he's smiling.

Vancouver Stonebridge has my mom's best interest at all times. I visit mostly in the evening and the care team is exceptional, not only with my mom but I see them interact with other residents as well, always caring and soft spoken. Friends of my mom visit during the day and always tell me that staff stop to see if they or my mom need anything. The facility is clean, staff are pleasant and informed and I am happy mom has a safe place to be during this most difficult time. It takes special people to do the work that they do. Thank you.

I visit regularly and the staff are always helpful and kind to me and my husband. It makes me secure knowing that they will see to it that he receives the care that he wants and needs, since I can't do it for him anymore. He is well worth the effort. Keep it up!!!

The staff at Brookdale Stonebridge continue to be amazing 3 years into my mom's residency with them. Their thoughtfulness is present from the very first engagement and has not diminished over time. It is common to get a call from staff asking how I am and if I feel there is anything additional they can do for my mom. I appreciate how they care for her, and I can honesty say that they take away a lot of the worry I have about her situation. They love my mom and treat her with the care and dignity she deserves.

If I could leave less stars I would. My family had a terrible experience there. We had moved my grandmother in at the end of June of 2022. In the month that my grandma was there she was only bathed once!! We asked several times about bathing with promises of a shower every time. She was rarely taken to the bathroom and ended up with sores all over her and she developed a rash on her back. We found her alone in her room almost every time we came to visit. Her bed would be wet, pants would be soaked through. Her quilt went missing, clothes (we did her laundry) , her toothbrush and other items. She fell at least 10 times, 4 were documented and at least 6 were undocumented (a caregiver told us that when we found her with a huge bloody shin!!) We regret that we didn't do better research when finding a place. We have reported Brookdale and hope that things change and people are taken better care of in the future. We moved her out as quick as we could!

Management was terrible and wouldn't take employees imput even if it was for the betterment of the residents. So short staffed constantly and didn't seem to care about it. Residents care suffers from the lack of staff. It's sad.

Grandma has been at Brookdale Stonebridge for almost 2 years now. Prior to that she was at Brookdale Fishers Landing Assisted Living. When your loved one has to make a life changing move by going in to a facility, it is important to have support and understanding from the staff. I have had nothing but helpful and friendly interaction from all staff. From the front desk, to care givers, to kitchen, housekeeping, med techs, and activities coordinators. Any questions or issues that come up are dealt with quickly. Interactions Ive witnessed between care givers and residents has always reflected love and patience. The residence is kept very clean. There is usually some activity or another going on to keep busy. They have fun! I recommend you check it out as a good option for your loved one. 🙂

Our family has used Brookdale Stonebridge for nearly 2 years. I have received excellent support from the director from the beginning, and great assistance from the billing section, as well as the front desk. By making an effort to get to kmow the housekeepers, caregivers and med techs from the beginning, we have established what I consider to be good lines of communication. I have found caring responsive people who hear and work with my concerns. As mental deterioration continues in our family member, the staff communicates with both myself and our doctors, as well as helps with emotional support. We remain very confident with the overall quality of care.

I want to add a positive review to balance out the others. My mom has been here since January 2018. She lives on the more active side of the complex as she is mobile. She is not an easy person to deal with and I think that the staff is marvelous. They are always smiling and cheerful, and they are well trained to handle the many and varied needs of people with dementia. Many of them have been there for several years (10 or more) and I think that says a lot about the management. I visit weekly so I see what does on in the facility and with the residents. It is clean and homey inside and doesnt smell. The food looks delicious and the staff helps and encourages those who need it. It is not a luxurious, high-end place, but it is also more affordable. There is an enclosed center courtyard for good weather and activities for the residents to keep them engaged. They have organized a Mothers Day lunch for families which I really appreciate as I cannot safely take mom out and this gives us a nice celebration time. I gave it five stars to balance the negatives. I appreciate the fine staff who work very hard under difficult, challenging and stressful conditions.
