I've spent quite a bit of time in this location during the past month and I'm always impressed by the warm feeling and friendly staff. Residents are pleasant as well and seem very happy there.

I recently toured People's and was delighted by the atmosphere! When I arrived there were lots of residents out walking their dogs and interacting with one another, they I was able to meet many staff members, whom were all pleasant and took the time to greet me and answer my questions and show me around. They have a true "home like" feel. The dining room was enormous. I was fortunate to get to see the afternoon meal that the residents were eating and the meal was restaurant quality, it looked delicious! Large beautiful apartments, with inside and outside common areas for the people that live there to enjoy social time. GREAT location in a quiet tucked away neighborhood, but really convenient to main areas of Tacoma. If you are needing assisted living, take the time to TOUR this facility! I loved it!

You can see the love and care that the staff put into this community. Every time I walk through the front doors, I'm greeted by smiling staff, and most importantly, smiling residents. The garden/courtyard is absolutely beautiful and seeing how much care the residents put into their veggie garden warms my heart.

Wow! There are some really bad reviews about Peoples, as for myself I find these reviews to be very informative. I must say my experience with Peoples has been very favorable. People should do lot of research before putting a loved one into any type of care facility. The building is old yes, but its keep clean. The staff is very friendly and professional, I personally think that Peoples is a great place to live. I have lived in 2 other care facilities that werent anything nearly as clean or where the residents were the treated with respect and dignity by the staff. Keep in mind that being a caregiver is a very stressful and demanding job. Show them some respect!!

I walked in and its a huge space (lobby) and the people sitting in there were friendly. If I was looking for my parent, theyd be easy to talk to. You can tell theyre happy. 5 stars.

I have worked for Peoples Retirement as a Maintenance Director for last three and a half years. Our facility is beautiful. The staff are the best the market has to offer and work very hard I'm honored to be part of the great team. Our residents are fantastic I consider them all family. Peoples Retirement is a fantastic place to work and live.

They have caring and dedicated staff. A beautiful facility with a huge inside dining area and, large outdoor area for BBQs and events. Their recreation area sizable for concerts and group games, with smaller rooms and space for small gatherings. Lots going on.

Everything has gone well in the last month since my family member moved in. She seems to be adjusting well she is going to activities that are offered and seems to be making friends. The staff overall is encouraging and nice very positive environment. She seems to be liking the food. Housekeeping is doing a good job keeping things clean and orderly. I would recommend them if asked.
