The receptionist was so kind and helpful! We dropped in to surprise my Grandma and while we waited for her to come up from lunch, the receptionist offered us water bottles and was really sweet to our daughter. The remodel looks so fresh and inviting. The outdoor park was so nice with the playground. Grandma seems really happy here and the residents all seem taken well care of.

We recently moved my parents into the Riverview Retirement Community. The entire process from our very first visit, to moving them into their new apartment has been wonderful. The entire staff has been so helpful and they have provided excellent support and great customer service. Riverview is clearly a quality retirement community and it shows through how my parents and our entire family has been supported and treated by their staff. I've lived at Riverview since October 2023, which makes it almost 9 months. There are glitches here as there are in any institution, but this is by far the best place I've been since my health health started failing. Other institutions I have been In have had far more problems than this place has. For one thing, the food here is absolutely wonderful, and I find the Kitchen staff to be cooperative above and beyond what one would expect. I have some severe allergies, and the chefs actually cook special meals for me so that I never have to run into the allergens that can actually kill me. They come to my table frequently to check to be sure I'm getting what I want. My senses of taste and smell have been affected Because of previous illnesses. By some Culinary magic the chefs At Riverview manage to make food taste really good to me. I have to watch it so I don't gain weight! Yum! (My experience at the four other rehab places I have been to in the last year is the absolute opposite of the food here. I even went to the hospital Needing vitamin transfusions after spending too long in places that did not provide edible and nutritious food.) In addition, the therapists here were able to work around the Medicare issue so that I got the months of therapy that were required for me to get back on my feet. Every one of the people in the therapy department is professional, respectful, and friendly. I am thriving under their care. The aides and nurses, though sometimes understaffed, work their buns off to give us the best care they can. The building is old, and my apartment does have some problems such as a very small bathroom and the need for extension cords but the maintenance crew is on the ball to help with all issues regarding the room itself and the equipment that I need to use. Lovely extras: fantastic gardens and walkways, outdoor gathering spaces, special feasts and buffets for holidays, barbecues, and the aquatic center. Good for a potential resident to know is that this is a locally owned retirement center rather than a national franchise, it is sponsored by the Lutheran Church, and it is one of the oldest retirement centers in Spokane. (I am Catholic, and my spiritual needs are met nicely.) Do I recommend Riverview retirement community to Prospective residents? YES.

Attended the music concert today with a friend who recently lost his wife Very nice concert. Nice reception after concert. We met some lovely people and asked several questions on how they like it. Very favorable comments. We have had our deposit with you since 2003 - hoping someday we would be ready. We are getting close - maybe in the next year or so. We saw the outside of the homes that had fenced patios. We have pets and would be interested in looking at one of those units some time in the near future. Grounds and patio areas are so inviting.

Both of my parents went to Riverview last year. When my mother needed to be in the memory care portion, my dad was able to go see her, have a meal with her every day. He is still there, has dementia but doesn't need memory care at this point. He says everybody there cares about him, they all know his name, and they are very conscientious. He's happy, we're happy.

My mom is 93 and just moved in to Riverview in December. The staff are so kind and helpful. I am no longer worried about her safety. She is developing friendships, and getting better nutrition which has helped her general health. Riverview is definitely the place to be!

My dad moved into the terrace at Riverview back in December 2022.The staff is always friendly, helpful, and patient. All of the meals are delicious! The nurses have been so helpful, and I know my dad is safe and well cared for. My dad loves living at Riverview, which initially he was apprehensive about! Great place all the way around!

My mom is sad that she had to leave her house but this place is clean with very nice and efficient help and very good food. She also gets a Jacuzzi bath twice a week, and has a private room covered by Medicare Medicaid. I think we were very lucky to get this place for Mom
