I really can’t express how impressed I have been with the exceptional caring staff at Fairview! My very dear friend who I really loved so much was taken home today by her lord and savior. Sonia lived at Fairview AL for the past 2 years of her life. Even through the pandemic she was cared for with the grace and respect she deserved! The staff loved and cared for her as f she was there own family! Thank you Heidi Karen, Angel and all of the staff at Fairview you are truly angels on earth!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

We are so thankful for Heidi and her team at Fairview. Their attention to detail and their personal care has given our family peace of mind.

We had to place both of my in-laws in permanent care at Fairview. We visited a couple of facilities and decided to go with Heidi at Fairview. During our initial visits before and after placement, the facility always smelled of fresh cooked food, floors and interior was clean. No overwhelming odors resulting of bleach or pinesol. There certainly was no urine odors as indicated by another reviewer. My father in law recently passed at Fairview, his Hospice care was competent. The staff made exceptions and made it possible for us to visit during his last few weeks. My mother in law was moved from the main level to the second floor where she is encouraged to leave her room for meals and socializing. If she leaves the building, she has to be quarantined. Placing a loved one in a care facility is a difficult and painful choice. Our experience with the Fairview staff has been nothing but positive. Have their been a few rough patches? Yes, but a call to Heidi usually resolves the issue.

My friend resided at Fairview. With the exception of a few caregivers who seemingly wanted to provide the best care they could, the rest of the staff were untrained and lacked the ability or desire to provide basic care to memory care residents. What do you get at memory care? A lock that keeps your loved one in the building. No engagement of activity other than a TV. The place reeks of urine. Bathing is not done on a routine basis even when you bring it up over and over. The management staff are horrible to work for and it shows in their employees who willingly negatively speak about them. Look for a facility that doesn’t “hide” the memory care residents ---- look for a facility that engages them with song, music, activities that stimulate them versus just keeping them locked up until death. It’s a really awful existence they lead there …….. make sure you take a tour and don’t settle for COVID restriction BS to see what you’ll be getting. Don’t be fooled by the activities calendar that repeats over and over again or is just for those that can participate. There is too much work to be done with too few people to do it. Multiple times there were HUGE staff turnovers and they’ll tell you it’s the industry and COVID – nope, it’s the management team. Beware of the good google reviews - they’re done by family members of the owner or staff - another smoke and mirror trick.

Turnaround. Don’t let your loved one fall victim to the dog and pony show that you’ll likely receive from the management team to “show off” their privately owned and operated facility. Do your research – talk with family members and make sure you get a tour of memory care while you’re looking. If you’re already trapped in an arrangement – hire a case manager or a health care aide to oversee and provide care that you won’t get.

My mother in law was a resident here for 3 years. This was the best decision we could have ever made. We were kept in the loop and visited as often as we liked in the dementia unit. It allowed us to be her family again without being overwhelmed. She was so loved and even to this day (6 years after her passing) we still feel loved and part of the family. Open communication and loving caregivers is such a bonus in todays environment.

Fairview Assisted Living is by far the best assisted living facility in Spokane! I was extremely overwhelmed with trying to find an assisted living place for grandma, one that she would like, one that I trusted, one that accepted Medicaid and so on. When I went and toured the facility I was instantly at ease. The facility was beautiful and clean and the staff was so kind and welcoming. Without any hesitations I moved my grandma in and shes lived there for a few months now. She was like any other elderly person that did not want to move. Now she tells me how happy she is that she moved and talks about how much she loves the staff, how delicious the food is, how she loves going to bingo and going on the group walks around the neighborhood. It blows my mind when I read a negative comment about their staff because every staff member there has been amazing! Heidi walked me through the entire process of applying for Medicaid which took a decent amount of time, not because she had to but because shes a kind and genuine person that just wants to help. Beau is just as amazing and helpful. We had to move my grandma to another room due to Medicaid and not only did they do all the moving for her, Beau also called and got her TV and phone setup and changed her apartment number through DOL. Once again this isnt something he had to do but he did because he is just a great person.I could go on forever about all of the amazing things the staff members have done for my grandma over the last few months. I rarely write reviews but I want everyone to know how amazing this place really is!

Truly the most compassionate care I have experienced. Heidi and her team are vested in the residents - they walk the talk and deliver respectful care to not only the resident but the family as well. I toured over 8 Assisted Living establishments in Spokane and found them to unsurpassed when it comes to what matters... individualized, respectful care. I can't say enough great things about them. Continue the great work Heidi and Team!

Fairview actually has the lowest rates in town. They are also one of the few places in town that accept medicaid clients.
