Thank you Affinity for the 11 years my mother lived at the South Hill location. I want to thank the office team. They are kind, supportive, helpful, and responsive. Both were instrumental in assisting me with transitioning my mother into a living situation where she gets additional care. I want to ESPECIALLY highlight Ann Riddle. She listened to me through many tears, guided me through the process, was kind and caring, and I certainly would not have handled this transition very well without her care. Ann is a Huge asset to Affinity. She is knowledgeable, she cares about the residents, she is an outstanding wonderful person and represents Affinity amazingly. Thank you Ann, I will NEVER forget your support and appreciate your guidance and kind heart!

We haven't actually moved in yet; however, I think a comment is deserved as to a great asset of Affinity at South Hill. The lady that gave us a tour of the facilities in September treated us as if we were already part of the family. She is Ann Riddle, and Affinity is so fortunate to have her as their representative. For that reason, we have chosen South Hill as the place where we want to relocate. Also, the other staff and residents were much more than cordial; I could tell they were really enjoying themselves just by being there!

My mom has been pretty amazed at how well your crew has kept up the parking lot during this winter. Obviously she's quite grateful she's not having to shovel snow anymore. But as she has watched them work night and day during this season she is really thankful to be here for sure. Just wanted to share this with you.

After my dad died my mom said their house was just too big and she was lonely. Mom looked at Affinity and knew it was the place for her. Affinity offers everything she could want in a community and she loves it. The staff is amazing, caring and genuine. Mom feels very much "at home" at Affinity and we're grateful she's there.

When I sold my house a year ago, I had planned to buy land and put a manufactured home on it. TOO EXPENSIVE!! I thank God every day that I found Affinity at South Hill. I have been living here for three months and I consistently feel like I am on vacation. My apartment is awesome, the amenities are RIDICuLOUSLY good (free breakfast M-F, pool, hot tub, theatre, pub, woodshop, craft room, beauty salon, fitness room, free wifi and cable, game room, in-house handymen, and MORE, AND we have a staff that works their tail off for us!! Let me talk about our staff...when I first applied, there was more than one issue with my credit. Without the help of Ann Riddle, I am not sure I would have made it through that process alive. She was consistently available to help me who to call and what to do at each step. I have seen Ann do this for so many people (and some of those people have been less than nice - one lady was just ripping into Ann because she wouldn't make someone else move out of this lady's handicapped parking space. Newsflash, they aren't claimable. And yet, while this woman called Ann every name in the book, I watched Ann be so patient and calm. Unreal strength.). Interestingly enough, my favorite thing about our apartment family is the many different kinds of people who live here. There are friendly people, funny people, grizzly people, very kind people, people with dogs and cats, cranky people...but when you put them all together, they make our family. One of my favorite things about Ann and Michele is their work to include everyone in our family for activities. I cannot imagine living anywhere else.

MAGNIFICENT If it hadn't been for Ann Riddle, I'd still be living with my daughter. Ann's knowledge of our entire "neighborhood" is a sight to see. Ann knows all of us by name and knows all of the pets by names. Ann's door is always open for questions or just give a hello. How to begin!!?? When I sold my house a year-ish ago, I initially thought I would just buy a smaller house. After six months in an Air b-n-b and not much luck in the house market, I found Affinity at South Hill! WOW...saved my life. I feel like I am on permanent vacation! My rent includes: Two bedroom apartment with a patio Washer/Dryer in apartment Light/Heat/Water/Garbage Wifi/Comcast Cable Garage Theatre Pub (Happy hour hosted by Affinity twice a week!) In-house Handyman Library/Puzzle lounge Business Center Crafting Room Beauty Salon/Mani-Pedi's Woodshop Yoga Studio Exercise/Fitness Room Full-sized pool/Hot tub Game room (pool table, air hockey, shiffleboard, etc) Card/Game Room Free breakfast Monday through Friday COUNTLESS activities!! It is no wonder I feel so blessed. Our fearless leader, Ann, and our boss lady, Michele, work tirelessly to make sure our family at Affinity has the best life possible. This isn't an apartment complex. It is a FAMILY. I love my life here.

I cant say enough good about Affinity at South Hill!! I have lived here for almost 18 mos. I dont have one single negative thing to say about my community! Director (Jessica) and everyone on her team are fabulous. Ann, Leasing Representative worked with me for several months. I was on a waitlist for a while but as soon as there was an opening, she thought would be perfect for me, I moved in, and she was absolutely correct. I couldnt have picked a more perfect unit. She took into account what she had learned from talking to me a location I would be happy!! The Maintenance is the best I have ever experienced from ANY rental!! Right on top of it ever time! Brittany, Assistant, always smiling and eager to help!! All these gals are kind, caring and helpful!! They truly care about each and every resident! Housekeeping Charlotte and Maria work extremely hard to keep everything spotless, organized, polished and shining! The grounds are always flawless. If something needs to be done in your unit Sergio is on it ASAP. I have NEVER had to wait an unreasonable amount of time! To all of them I am grateful for everything they do to make this the home I love! Many thanks for all they have done to keep the residents safe and COVID-19 free!! I am grateful to be a part of this community!! I wholeheartedly, highly recommend Affinity South Hill. Also, a bonus is the location, close to everything needed!! [

I never do these types of things but wanted to be sure other people know what a wonderful staff are at Affinity at South Hill. I am not currently a member at their apartment complex but have had a very nice experience speaking with them about my interest. They are always polite, kind and very knowledgeable. I look forward to moving there in the future.

Ann and her staff have been a great help with my move into a new home and environment. Their cheeriness and helpfulness has certainly been a great help. I have lived at Affinity for over 3 years now. Ann is the most caring person who works at Affinity. She listens to the tenants no matter what your problem is. Most of the people who live at Affinity are very friendly and caring. Wendy who works in housekeeping is a very hard working person just like Ann is. When I was in the hospital my family wanted information that they could not talk about without my permission. My family got very upset with them and believed that no one at Affinity even cared about me but in my heart I know Ann cared about me. Regretfully, they have rules etc. Affinity tries to keep the residents busy with functions, card games, pool, wii bowling and discussion groups.
