Our family has had an exceptional experience with Fairwinds Redmond, and we are especially grateful for the support we received from Aly and Krysta, two of the amazing managers we worked with there. What could have been an overwhelming and emotional process of finding a safe and comfortable place for our mom was made organized, clear, and genuinely compassionate because of their care and professionalism. From our first conversation through the final steps, Aly and Krysta were consistently responsive, patient, and thorough. Kind, open, helpful, and caring experience. Our family have come to the difficult point of considering care options for our father. One of my brother's acquaintances shared information about Fairwinds - Redmond. So, I rang up with little understanding for how to begin engaging with retirements/care communities and I was put in touch with Krysta, who is part of their sales team. Krysta spent a good bit of time with me, sharing information about Fairwinds and helping me to understand how to approach this process and what to consider for my dad and our family. Krista was lovely, friendly, supportive, knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient. I could not sing her praises any louder or, by extension, that of Fairwinds for employing such genuine, good-hearted people like Krysta who 'lead with love' and try to leave everyone they encounter better than when they first met. Truly grateful!

Fantastic amenities and staff. Very helpful with the guests. Lots of things to do and an amazing kitchen. Location is great and there are a lot of great trails. If you get the chance to talk with Jeanie she will make your day better! Very helpful and entertaining!

The staff and residents are friendly, the shared facilities are nice and there are a variety of activities to keep residents entertained. My mom enjoys Fairwinds thanks to all of this. The biggest issue is the food. The food has been mediocre at best for my mom and it does not seem to be getting any better. Wait times for service/food orders plus food readiness also seem long. Options are limited and some meals are cafeteria quality. If you are told otherwise, I encourage you not to believe it or at least visit for multiple meals here yourself. Missed or shortage of items seems to be a recurring theme as well. Meal hours are also early and residents have no choice but to accommodate or spend extra money and time preparing their own meals in their units.

More than 4 months in and Fairwinds Redmond has met all expectations and support needed for Mom. When we found Fairwinds Redmond (FWR) we were scrambling after mom's fall, emergency surgery, and skilled nursing care. There was little time to make decisions and coordinate a multitude of logistics. We interviewed and toured a few assisted living centers. Krysta, Mary, and the FWR team were the most attentive to mom's expressed needs and worked the hardest to find the best solutions. The pre-entry health assessment was the most professional we experienced out of all the prospective living centers we consulted. For the first 30 days we collectively decided upon a little extra support, which was tailored back to meet demonstrated need and independence after 30 days. The most impressive thing about our interactions with the FWR team - before and after mom became a resident - is their genuine desire to do what is best for mom. It was clear during our interview process that fitting mom's needs with the facility and available services was THE motivation of the staff. Other living centers were good ... FWR was the best at that. FWR provides a "smorgasbord" of options - from independent living to many levels of personal care and support. For Mom, who is intent upon regaining her pre-fall independence, all of the FWR apartments have a full kitchen. We didn't find that option with other living centers, which generated a barrier to full independent living if mom can reach that objective. In the interim, there is a wonderful restaurant, bistro, activity rooms, a pool, workout facility, outdoor garden/rose garden, onsite-salon, room service, organized excursions, and many other amenities to make residing at FWR like living at a full-service resort. Post-pandemic times have created challenges for all service related organizations. FWR appears to have had some turnover with staff during mom's stay, but it has not impacted mom's care in any substantive way. I am on the BOD for a resort property in the East and wish we could say we've been as successful at staffing services as FWR has been. Thank you Fairwinds Redmond!

We chose FWR for our Mom because Krysta and the staff went out of their way to find the best apt and welcome her to the facility. Even after moving in they have shown her above average attention. Our Mom says the food is terrific! Thanks for helping us navigate this difficult transition.

The staff and other residents have been very welcoming for my mother and her little dog. It is comforting to know that they interact with every resident daily to make sure they are doing well. They also have a variety of activities for the residents.

I found the community to be very reasonably priced, with ample sized rooms and many amenities. Knowing that the heated pool could be used by the grand kids was a real bonus! Nate did an amazing job with his tour of the community, and gave great advise about comparable communities and options out there. Very impressed overall.

I love Fairwinds Redmond! My mother is a resident there and the things this community has done to keep her safe during this last year while still providing so much socializing and personal attention. I know so many people who's parents and such have been stuck at home in isolation for so long now and who's health has deteriorated so much. I recommend this place to anyone and trust them with my own mom!

If you are looking for a place that serves your loved ones with nothing but the best dining experience, look no further! Unlike the bland dishes that are served elsewhere, every dish that comes out of Chef Ray's kitchen is superb. From the juicy and tender prime rib to the grilled Atlantic salmon . - absolutely delicious! Their home comfort menu varies from Italian, Asian, Mexican to so much more cuisines. Not only is she an excellent chef, what stands out the most is her passion. Cooking great food is one thing, but to have love and compassion for the residents is what really matters. She serves the residents as if she were preparing a meal for her dearest grandparents. She puts family members at ease knowing that their loved ones are being cared for.

During my visit to Fairwinds-Redmond I could see such Joy on the faces of the residents there. It was such a clean place, with friendly people and fun activities. I know my mom would love it there and I most definitely would live there when I retire. I highly recommend a visit!

Very spacious buildings and beautiful landscaping. Babbling creek in the back and gardens to work in are a great environment to be in. Staff are caring; Guest Services Manager, Randee Young, is absolutely fabulous. She's welcoming, very friendly, adds a sparkle to every interaction and works tirelessly to ensure residents are taken care of!

We attended a charity auction are Fairwinds, what an awesome place! The event took place in the dining room, we had a great meal and the chef even stopped by our table to chat! The residents here must feel like they are at a fine dining restaurant for every meal. The staff were friendly and professional and have seemed to developed a great rapport with their residents. The lobby and common spaces were brightly lit, clean and very well appointed. While this style of living is still a ways off for us we look forward to being able to visit again for a fundraiser soon and will consider it as a future home when the time comes.

I really wish they didn't force residents to have a meal plan. Some people don't want the institutional food but they still make you pay an arm and a leg for it! Nice staff overall.
