I recently moved my wife to Brookdale. Unfortunately I could no longer care for her. The staff was able to walk me through the steps for care for her. It has been so difficult to make this decision as she has been my beautiful bride for over 55 years. The sales manager, Jessica and her side kick Charles have been so helpful. They keep me updated on everything going on with her care and how she is doing throughout the days when I can’t be there to visit. Jessica even sends me photos showing how my wife is doing. I would recommend Brookdale to anyone who is hesitant to move their loved one. This has not been easy on me, but they have helped me understand now that I too needed to take care of me. I am very happy with my decision.

Such a great place to be! I have never been happier to have my grandpa somewhere I know he will be cared for. The staff is absolutely amazing! The sales manager Jesse was over the top amazing! The stress of moving grandpa and feeling like I am uprooting him from his family, she was able to reassure me and show me how my pops will be cared for. It’s been a little over a week and he is a completely different guy! He is going out, listening to music, eating meals again and is actually showering!!! The staff got my old man to shower! If you know how hard it can be to get your loved one to shower who has dementia, you will understand where I’m coming from. Thank you again to all the staff. I will definitely be recommending you along the way.

I visit often because they have the best live music (on certain days) and the best food! Staff is super nice and usually helpful; they do get busy though so maybe call ahead to get an appointment if you're coming in for a tour.

What a beautiful community! The staff here is fantastic. So much love and dedication from each and every one of them. Ann the Executive Director is very knowledgeable of folks with Alzheimer's/ Dementia. Was able to provide a lot of information to family. Charles, the Health and Wellness Director has great bedside manner and so personable with residents. Makes each day for these residents easier! The cleanliness of the building, you can smell it the second you walk through the door. It smells clean & looks it!

Brookdale Olympia West has been better than expected for my mother. The staff has been amazing and very patient. The facilities are exceptional and very accommodating. I can't say enough about the administrative staff also.

My wife has lived at Brookdale West for over 11 years. During those years there have been ups and downs like management changes and sickness of my wife. But the one constant benefit has been the care givers. They are super loving and considerate of all the residents there. And right now the management staff are the best I have ever seen.

From the day the team at Brookdale Olympia West showed up to the hospital to assess my Mom, to the day we moved her in and to this day, we have been wonderfully surprised and impressed with the folks at this facility. When the head of the medical staff, Danyal, came to the hospital, he established an immediate connection with my Mom. The sales lead, Jordan, also showed up to the hospital to interact with the family. This is just one incident that helped establish my perception of the management tam at Brookdale West as just that - an effective team. The day we moved my Mom in to the facility, the entire family was very nervous with regard to how she might react. Our confidence was bolstered as we observed highly trained staff use their skills to easily redirect my Mom and keep her attentions positively focused things she would enjoy. That first evening, I received a text with a photo of my Mom dancing to live music provided by Brookdale West. This was followed by another text, and another photo! Finally, the director of the facility, Marnie, personally called me to let me know of a humorous interaction she'd have with my Mom and to let me know that everything was all right. We could not have expected a smoother transition, nor the kindness of management to reach out and ease our nervousness the way these folks did! Since move-in day, communications from Brookdale have been stellar. In addition, each time I've returned to visit, I am even more impressed with the staff. I make sure to interact with multiple staff during each visit to ask questions about my Mom. Every staff member, including all caregivers, seem to know my Mom and can recall details about her daily activities. And, a big nod to the two Sarah's - activities coordinators. I've watched as both of these staff members roam the halls enticing residents to engage in exercise, crafts or other social interactions. My brother and I, as well as the rest of the family, couldn't be happier with our choice.

Chronically understaffed. We were concerned when there only ever appeared to be two on staff for all the residents on the weekend, with calls from residents in their rooms going ignored. We finally moved my mom from here after finding her parked in her wheelchair in the "TV room," shivering from the cold with only a light nightshirt on. This is outrageously expensive for the quality of care. So few staff means next to no personlized attention. I don't think it's their fault, so two stars instead of one.
