My mother moved to Hilltop AFH in July 2019, after the nursing home she had been in residence for fourteen years had been forced to close. Any concerns for her adjustment were soothed by the cheerfulness and caring home environment of Hilltop. There were no issues with mobility in her wheelchair, and many outdoor spaces to take in sun, the flowers and other landscape in good weather. Else and her staff worked closely with me to learn her temperament and preferences. They made sure she participated in group excersize and gatherings, but also were careful about knowing when she wanted to be left alone. My mother passed away in June 2021; Else was able to start and guide me through the hospice process and support myself and my mother at the end stage. Hilltop AFH was a blessing to my mother and family especially during COVID where they were thorough in their precautions and endured the months with good spirits. I highly recommend Hilltop AFH as a wonderful family home.

I brought my mom there to live at the Hilltop Adult Family Home to live. She lived there 3 1/2 yrs, until she passed away. I was happy at the way she was cared for each day. Elsa and I became good friends & are still good friends! This Adult Family Home is the very BEST one any where in Wash.

I was glad I found a place where I didn't need worry about how my mom would be cared for. Elsa and her staff work hard at keeping the residents active and healthy. My family and I could drop by any time of the day. I really appreciated having Hilltop on our team!

My mom smiles every day. She has been at Hilltop Adult Family Home for over six months now. Elsa and her staff provide a loving stimulating care environment for the residents. Daily exercises, walks, games and singing keep the residents involved. My mom having advanced dementia and still active is thriving. I was looking for a loving adult family home close by. I found that, and wish I would have done it sooner.
