These people are the absolute best in my book! My mom suffered from dementia and many other health conditions and was in the hospital for a long while. After an exhausting search for just the right AFH for her when she was finally able to move, I found Sunray. The doctors set multiple release dates only to have them rescheduled due to setbacks in mom's health. Meanwhile, I had already decorated her room at Sunray in antipation of her release. This nice little room was now tied up and unavailable for other prospective residents and since she was on Medicaid, Sunray wasn't getting paid for the inconvenience. My mom never left the hospital. She died there on her 84th birthday...June 20th, 2022. The next couple weeks were a blur. Rahel was very sweet and consoling and never pressured us about removing mom's things even though I know they were losing income not having that room open. After making all the final arrangements for mom, I was finally able to go over and collect mom's things. Rachel helped me pack and consoled me when I broke down. Everyone there was so supportive.Though they never got the opportunity to care for mom, the depth of their sensitivity, caring and understanding during one if the most difficult times for me and my family makes me believe that mom would have been in great hands. Thank you so much Rahel and to all your staff for being so kind to us when we really needed some kindness! The Billingsley Family
