Woodland by Bonaventure is devoted to expanding the enjoyment of our aging residents. We also giving them access to the best care and services possible. Our community was designed to a quiet, beautiful community settled in the center of Lacey. We offer convenient access to shopping, restaurants, parks and more entertainment available in Lacey. Banks, hospitals, and medical facilities are also nearby.
We help our senior residents not only with their daily routines, but to thrive physically, mentally, and socially within our community. We design care plans that meet the individual needs for each resident. We also have trained medical staffing available when needed. Our community offers a full activities and social calendar that helps seniors thrive not just in body and mind, but also socially.

Apartments with private baths and kitchenettes are also available. We are incredibly proud of our Lacey staff members. The employees here are 100% committed to the care and well-being of our residents. Woodland by Bonaventure meal plans that are prepared with fresh ingredients daily from specially designed menus. We also offer snacks between meal times. Private dining, family style, cookouts, picnics are all available for every style of meal that could be desired. We can accommodate for nearly every type of diet.

My mother loves her apartment here and the residents. The management staff has constant turnover and is very unorganized. My mom wanted to get tested for covid due to a cough she had but they did not have any tests. Then they said they found some and would be up to her room within 30 minutes. No one showed up. They did not offer to go buy any but said she could. She tested positive two days later.was suppose to have meals delivered to her room - none came the first night. No quarantine sign was put on her door and no apologies were given for anything.

When looking for the perfect facility I went to a number of facilities for my parents. I accidentally turned into what I thought was the next door facility because I had already gone there and picked out a room. I had a check in my hand to hold that room. I was met by Kayla whom I asked, oh this is not the right building. She said, well check ours out too. I said sure I didnt know there was another building here. I immediately said wow I love the feeling here it was a smaller facility which I thought my parents would love the homey feeling more. It smelled good from the front door throughout which was a big deal for me. I met Courtney the activity director Jennifer the manager and a few others. They answered my questions I saw a sweet apartment which over looks the court yard and garden area. I instantly fell in love with Woodland. My mom loves to be active so Courtney was a huge key to my decision. I loved her right off the bat with all that she is and does for the residents!! Needless to say my check for the other building went to Woodland. It has been 5 months now and my parents are loving the other residents and have made many friends already, the staff are also so kind and helpful. They love where they live and are cozied into their life now at Woodland. Most important for me, their daughter, I have the peace of mind knowing that they are taken care of and Woodland has them even through our busy lives. Best decision we as a family made with them and for them. Thank you Woodland

We had the difficult decision of moving my parents into an assisted living facility, they were 88 and unable to live on their own any longer. We were set to tour several facilities but after touring the Woodlands we found the prefect home for mom and dad. The staff has become like family, they are so caring and they have personalized the care my parents receive. My dad passed away a few months after they moved there and the compassion that the staff showed my family was more than I could imagine. They cried with us, helped us through the process and have been so compassionate with my mom helping her to adjust to her new life without my dad (they were married for almost 70 years). I wish I could give a 10 star rating! I highly recommend the Woodlands to anyone that is looking for an assisted living facility!

This last Fall, my mother and I had come to the agreement that it was time for her to move into assisted living. After a couple of tours from other facilities, we checked out Woodland, thinking that there was no way Mom would be able to afford this place because it was so well put together, it felt like a five star Hotel when we walked in. We met with Jennifer, the Director, and instantly connected with her. She showed us around, explained everything and answered all our questions. My Mother absolutely loved it here, she was able to pick her room and they installed a ceiling fan for her in her bedroom per her request. I cannot say enough about the entire staff, all have been extremely nice and compassionate to my mother and her needs, and also to me, as I was there almost every day. It was very important to me to put my mom in the best place I could find because my mom went through this with her parents and it wasnt all good for them, so I feel very lucky to have had Woodland just down the street from where mom lived. I realize that no facility is going to be perfect, but Jennifer, Elizabeth, Courtney, Kayla, and the entire staff give it their best to make sure we all felt at home. Unfortunately, my mother passed and I will truly miss all of them. Oh, and one thing, my mom was all about chocolate and deserts.....and she always said to me how good their deserts are here! Again, thank you Woodland for being part of my mothers life,..and mine. Doug.

My wife and I came in for a tour here awhile ago to get information for my Grandma. The place is absolutely beautiful. Its almost like a resort. While we were there, there was many of the people that live there participating in what looked like some fun activities. If my parents hadnt decided to move my Grandma closer to them, I know she would have loved to live there.

My parents stayed here for several years prior to their passing. They really loved it here. Beautiful room and views, good food and very caring staff. Will always remember Sunday brunches with them.

We really appreciate the staff at Woodland and all they do for the residents there. They are passionate about serving seniors and families and always make sure the residents are well taken care of. Their activites are alwasy fun and engaging and they are wonderful about inviting family members to participate as well. We love all they do for the residents and would not be able to do it without their support!

We have family who moved in several months ago and we visit every few weeks from out of town. We have enjoyed seeing them settle in and learn to love being there. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. We've eaten a few meals with them and found the food to be very good. The residents for the most part are fun and friendly. Great place !!! Thanks staff for all you do to make your residents transition and enjoy living there.

I have visited Juniper Village in Chatham, New Jersey several times. I was able to explore the building and meet very extarordinary people from the employees to the residents. Not only are they very kind but very considerate people. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a safe and relaxing home away from home.

Great community, friendly staff, friendly residents! I was very surprised at the amount of activities they offer to the residents daily, even participated in their great exercise class while we were touring! I am happy this is where my Grandmother decided to go! I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a community to go there!

My husband and I moved here 18 years ago last December. Of course, since we already lived in Willow Street, and my mother-in-law still lived in the first community, we knew all about it. It's grown in those years, and we still enjoy it. We have both our old friends and new ones, as well as new activities to enjoy to replace the old activities of mowing grass and shoveling snow.

My Family and I have visited this community and their community next door looking for Assisted Living for my Mom. The communities are absolutely beautiful. Its almost like a hotel when you walk in. Unfortunately they were both more than we could afford for Mom, but if we could have, we would have picked one of the two.

My family is so happy with Woodland. Its such a beautiful place with such friendly people. Theres lots to do and the food is quite good. If you or your loved one is looking for a place to live thats for seniors, I recommend Woodland.

I had the opportunity to do some work for Woodland by Bonaventure a few months ago. What an eye opening experience. I was there to shoot a video for their Home Office as a marketing piece. During my time there I was able to interview several residents that had nothing but great things to say. Of course you run in to a few people that will flag you down to complain about a specific picture on the wall, or that they want this or that, but when asked about the staff, the way they are treated, and the things they get to do while living there, they all had the same consensus. That they love it. I was able to first hand see the staff interact with their residents. It is amazing to see the connections that are formed. If my parents were looking for a place to retire, I would hands down recommend Bonaventure.

Woodland is the place that I would absolutely have a family member move into, the stuff are friendly and they welcome new residents to the community and they work hard to make the transition easter for resident and the residents family members. The residents are happy and really enjoy all that woodland has to offer.

The staff, the management and the community are all very nice. We always have outings and events and it keeps me active. With the surrounding senior communities I always have someone new to meet.
